My point is they weren't brilliant throughout the game, they were only brilliant with the 3 or 4 counter attacks that they had (which equals 1 minute of the 90), and the defending. The word "brilliant" is usually used for a top notch performance with hundreds of chances throughout the game, such as Portugal, Spain, and Peru.
Mexico should've had 3, you're right.
They will top the group as well but, if Germany finish 2nd, they will meet Mexico in the R16, which is to Mexico's disadvantage.
