Absolutely stunning aquariums, got to be some of the best in the world here. Dave's Red Sea Max Nano is truly stunning.🙌 I'm also in love with 4,000 litre penisula. What a wonderful video - thank you. 👍
I'll take one of each!! Thanks for showing all these MAGNIFICENT SET-UPS!! Keep up the GREAT work my friend! We definitely need to get you over here to the 🇺🇸!! Can't wait to see more video's from ya! 👊👊
Nano up to 40gallons or 160 litres in the display for the same reason you said. Many fish, in particular useful ones like tangs cannot be used and because of that husbandry methods have to be different to allow for the lack of utilitarian animals. The nano refers to the difference in husbandry required through display volume size
I'm with you on the lagoon tank ;) I think a frag tank as a working tank is separate and I was waiting for the drop off ;) Yeah I would be so frustrated with a peninsula that has pumps on the viewing end - so if I EVER get the funds I have an idea I think solves that problem combining my 3 favourite types of tank. I will also say that tank manufacturers should make their tanks with more glass above the water - Tunze wave boxes should be almost standard I feel in higher flow tanks ;)
So we have: 1. Standard tank up to 2.000 liters. 2. Nano system 150-200 liters. 3. Floating reef. 4. Lagoon tank. (Small height). 5. Room dividers or pool tanks. (View from 3 sides). 6. Cube tanks. 7. Intergrated tanks. 8. Column tanks. 9. Hypo???
I really want to get into this hobby but don’t really know where to start. Like part of me wants to go all out and get a peninsula tank because i want some of the variety they offer like could get clowns, wrasses, tangs, angels, and more but it is expensive lol. I don’t want to inadvertently kill expensive fish and corals….
Which light was that over the algae tank? Looked like a mini halide. Do you know the manufacturer if so? I’m looking for something exactly like that. Thanks and as usual - awesome videos!
Hey guys , iam planning to start this hobby, but i would like to focus first on the coral and growing and stuf. my question is, wich lamps fit the best for lighting up the beatifull corals. Like the tank at 4:00. i noticed theres allot of different light types. i prefer the blue tint lightning. can you suggest me somthing ? great vid. subbed and liked video
Cap on a nano size? 🤔 In the US its generally 30 gal and under which is about 120L to 150L ball park? You kinda have a point on the larger size of what you consider nano. Id like to have a JBJ cube of 60 gallons which is 250L or so? 60cm cube is...kinda nano proportions so if you view it like that? You might be right. 🙂
I HAve a 10 Liter bubble snail Tank :) its Nano i also have a 400 L Bubble Snail tank where i keep most of them to not overstock my Nano and from the 400L they going as feedin bubble snails to a puffer

Peninsula tanks are my favorite. I love the extra viewing angle that allows you to make multi sided aquascape instead of the back wall
how do you stop the fish from jumping out?
We all appreciate the time you give to making these high quality videos thank you sir.
Thank you so much for that, I always give my best ;)
Some awesome tanks there but think you missed the drop off tank! I consider 100L and below Nanos 👍
Thank you so much!

Peter du hast so recht!!

What lamps do those tanks use? i'm trying to build a standard tank, everyone recommends me Radion but i'm not sure if it worth

all of em are beautiful but i cant even begin to imagine what an undertaking it will be to clean standard tanks and larger

Hey, I think one of the best lighting for beginners is the AI Hydra 32, you can not to something wrong with it :)
You forgot the drop off reef aquariums they are so fancy too!
You are so right my friend!! Just noticed that after uploading the video 😵💫

There's definitely a difference I see among American , European and Asian tanks as well.
Yes you are so right!
Btw, check out Andrew Sandlers tank

Dropoff tanks are more attractive
I forgot them I knoooooow :(
i consider anything 45 gallons or less a nano
6.42 Is beautiful but overcrowded..

take a look under the sea, the original is on my channel. complete about underwater

I also think that we have to have some changings in that hobby, maybe some more breedings!
@@seafriendlyreef Agreed however your channel name is misleading, I was hoping to find content related to sustainable saltwater aquariums
Why not to make aquarium for whole wall? Lets say 3m wide 2,3 m high and deep 20-30cm.
He sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger lol
Nano tanks are defined as less than 34 gallons.
No, nano tanks are less than 20 gallons
Nothing sounds easy when ur German brother
English is hard for us man haha
Corals are banned in India.. Any other substitute can I have ?
Possibly a algae tank some look Briant

100ltr or less is nano
