Oathsworn games is just a two-person operation, but Michael and Jo go out of their way when it comes to customer service. The game is a lot of fun and the miniatures are phenomenally detailed and full of character.
Love this game immensely. My son is getting to the point where he is curious about games and we've played a bit of different ones. Since his attention is getting better, this one may appeal to him more than others.
When you do eventually get your hands on a badger, you are in for a treat. Not only do they tower over the other models, but they are also made of some of the best resin I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The detail is so crisp, and they take paint so well. Enjoy your time with Burrows and Badgers. It's a truly great game, and I've managed to get my wife and kid into tabletop gaming with this game owing to the beautiful miniatures.
I love this game too. We played a campaign. I increased my warband of Oathsworn miniatures with some of Dark Sword Miniatures. I liked the Hide/Stealth mechanic in the game.
I love these minis, they are such a joy to paint. I still have 3 to finish, and have yet to play game. Thanks for the reminder to get back to this awesome game. That plastic container was my first wet pallet, the lid is about the perfect depth for me.
I swapped some of the miniatures from Band A to Band B, and vice-versa. The little nun definitely didn't sit well with the rogues, just as the adder mage didn't fit in with the royalists. I also swapped the squirrel witch with the rabbit archer. They're all much happier, now! They really are beautiful models, and a real joy to paint. I'm just waiting for an opportunity to play with them. Enjoy!
Excellent looking rulebook and those dice look very easy to see the numbers when rolled on the table. And the minis look terrific, especially the mouse priest - the name, Father Dignatious, leapt straight into my mind as soon as I saw him! Great review!
If i recall correctly Michael Lovejoy hasn't actually read any of the Redwall books! Which is crazy because he captures the aesthetic of them perfectly.
