Oh no! I don't think I've ever had a tomato up and die like that before. This was the first time I've had a pepper do that. It was very strange. Oh nice! What varieties of figs are you rooting?
@@gapey Ronde Bordeaux, LSU Purple, marseille black, desert king, Italian honey, Al’s Sicilian, Teramo, rockaway green, Emalyn’s Purple, Black Mission, Chicago Hardy and Celeste. I scored a few nice variety packs on figbid and went wild 😂. Your videos were a BIG help for me, as this is my first time rooting.
With regards to your cucumbers, it could be Vine weevil bugs larvae. They attack soft fruiting plants. The bugs lay there eggs at the base of the plant and they become white maggots with an orange head at the end. They then decapitate the plant right at the base between the stem and the roots literally in 1 day. Not to sure if you guys have them where you are, but they are a nuisance in the UK. We have to purchase nematodes to help combat them, but thay still doesn't stop the adults laying their eggs. Phil
could be. Not sure if we have them or not but I think it is something that is eating the roots. I've thought about trying nematodes cuz it's not the first time this has happened but seems to be getting worse every year.

Keeping track of failure is just the new normal. My native Montana
grass did not come up this year. I have dirt. End of time.

@@gapey Thats what Vine weavil bug larvea do. Eat the roots. Check them out as it really sounds like thats what you have got.
