"Don't judge a book by its cover!" Jemma says. 5 more minutes later "I don't like mango." "WHY!?" "I don't like the colour" 😂😂😂😂
Caitlynn lol
Roz drops spoon in awe

so one host has lactose intolerance and another does not like mango. their reviews are not accurate then since they already have a presumption on what they like/not like
It's their personal preference, they are not food critic, the point of their review is whether it's worth trying current hype, the Korean "ice shavings" bingsu. They pointed out what needs to know, if the viewer want to join in the band wagon, it's their preference what flavors to choose and what to expect (eg. Where to order and the queue etc)
I liked desserts but honestly, the bingsus are pretty average for a steep price. Initially you'll be amazed at the soft shaved ice and everything. However, towards the end, its just becoming a hassle to finish cause its getting so sweet and too milky once everything melt(not a nice milk taste by the way). Same for the other desserts, too sweet to finish. And i was sharing with a few people.

That is stupid.. "i don't like mango because I don't like the color"
Ikr
XD
Well, you are more stupide
Gymnast Vera TV You are Even More stupid for not spelling stupid right xD
you need to spellcheck your comments before you try to come for someone
The injeolmi doesn't contain peanut powder, it's a malted barley powder that is usually naturally mildly sweet, earthy and nutty due to the starch in the malted barley. It's the precursor to maltose so yeah you can imagine how a grain can be sweet. FYI injeolmi, is a traditional korean rice cake that's made with white rice cake (plain) covered in the malted barley powder as described above. Hope that helps. :)
whats the point of trying it/letting ppl know ur opinions if u know ur rather lactose intolerant? obv all the deserts there contain alot of dairy... haish disappointed with this ep!
So having lactose intolerance affects one's taste buds and therefore shouldn't be trusted? lol okay
+annïna It does......... you automatically don't like stuff that makes you nauseous and bloated soo......
+Ea Blab it doesn't affect me and I get very sick
I am lactose intolerant, and I love love ice cream, and cheese and dairy even if it makes me bloat.
Lmao..
The part where roz said "u dun like mango?who doesnt like mango?" Then jem said"me,i just said i dont like mango" killed me😂😂😂😂😂😂
I can't believe how they go get bingsu, film this episode with such a lack of idea what a bingsu is! Shouldn't you do minimal research about it before filming???
Anyway, there is so many distorted information there.
1) bingsu is made up of shaved milk ice... so literally the whole thing is milk.
2) the small cup contain condense milk. not soybean milk.
3) imjeolmi is not made up of peanut powder but bean powder. and the 'muah chi' are korean style rice cake.
-> when you order the freaking sign have the details of the ingredients of desert.
I am a real bingsu lover and really do not mind it even if you critise it but before filming please get your facts right. please do not pass on the wrong information esp to those who really have no knowledge of bingsu.
Amen to that Sisterrr 👏🏻
+Emelia Tan isnt this what hype hunt is about? Ordinary people (not experts) going to try out the latest hype and give us non-bias impression on how it feels/taste like.
I rather they tell me it taste like peanuts/ muah chi creamy ice-kachang so the local had an idea what it is going to taste like than telling me these are bean powder and korean style rice cake. how the fk are heartlanders going to know what are those, it will be so pretentious.
+Cay V what is view this is that it is like a broadcast of transferring information so I feel that they should get the facts right on what exactly it is supposed to be. But at the same time, they can describe the taste in local sense. and to let you understand what I meant, a example of what they can say be like: This is imjeolmi bingsu is made up of bean power & korean style rice cake (for intro) the taste of this is not bad... the bean powder actually taste like peanut powder and the rice cake is like our muah chi (when they actually taste it)
I have no qualms about the way they describe it (maybe I was a bit extreme in the way I commented before) but they at least should introduce the item with its proper facts. I feel that this is somewhat like their work so they should make preparation before going by making simple research which would take them less than 30 mins
+Emelia Tan Agreed! :D
+Emelia Tan Yeah and I feel that researching before hand is actually part of being professional. I was expecting them to say something like: Injeolmi is basically rice cake dusted with dried bean powder. And instead I got the "muah chi" comment and I was like LOLLL. Was kinda pissed about the injeolmi thing cause injeolmi's ma baeeeee
It's pretty annoying hearing her repeatedly complain about how somewhat lactose intolerant she is. In my opinion, why did she not take some over the counter medication for this especially when she knew she was going to eat dairy??? Hey you, girl, they have medication that allows lactose intolerant people to eat dairy! Incase you did not know...
Food review ruined due to more complaining about one girl being lactose intolerant and the other not liking mango which is 1/3 of the food review?! why....
One is lactose intolerant and other says she doesn't like mango because of its color yet never tried it before.... This are not food. Testers I want to watch, disappointing episode .... The food looked yummy, you should watch justkiddingfilms and learn how to review food... 👎
If I was lactose intolerant i wouldnt want to eat a bowl of creamy, milky stuff. And just because she is a little lactose intolerant doesnt mean she's bad at food reviews. I enjoy this series more than professinal food testers, They seam more human.
+THR33 TIMES (TheFluffyKitty11) It depends I'm lactose intolerant and I love ice cream
😣
+THR33 TIMES (TheFluffyKitty11) And I agree they seem more truthful
+Bigbang Forever your comment makes no sense so why are you even typing
They're just there to check it out LOL dumbass
But. But. But. Where the potatoes at?
You can go and make a street food store dedicated for potatoes.
OMG YOU!! Hahaha. You do the same potato thing on itsjudyslife!! Haha who would've thought two strangers watch the same two channels.
you're everywhere
Your everywhere!!
Omg u watch clicknetwork?!
they're so funny "I don't like mango", "who doesn't like mango?", "ME" 😂hahah
I should not be watching this first thing in the morning oh my Godddddddddd
So annoying and frustrating to watch.
YES OMG wtf
then don't watch.
nivlelfy _ then don't watch, use common sense
When I was in Korea we had this all the time or waffles or honey bread and my face got visibly rounder...maybe all that fried chicken also contributed
I think the question is, are you willing to wait in line for 20 minutes then wait for your bingsu another 20-25 minutes and at the end pay 18 $? Regardless of their personal taste, I am not sure this is worth the time and money. And for caucasians that whine in the comments because of the lactose intolerant girl, in Asia the percentage of lactose intolerant people is over 80%. So yes, it is important for them to know if the bingsu is worth the trouble.
I watch this and i thought that the injeolmi really had peanuts in it and I'm allergic to nuts, so i didn't went to try it because of that. Only awhile ago then i found out that it was actually not peanuts but soybean powder. I really like to watch their videos but them giving their audience inaccurate information is really disappointing..
This is making me crave bingsu so badly
Woah, there's actually someone else who doesnt like mango , im not alone after all~
lol haha jem annoys me
these two are so cute, i genuinely enjoy this show!
.... You guys should order some more common flavoured ones... Injeolmi is one of the common ones and top seller in korea itself because it's like the "original" flavour besides the red bean flavour and stuff.. And really guys? Ordering and blaming because u dont like the ingredient .. Wth.. The taste is more important
i ate injoelmi twice n i lovedddd it
why is it so expensive? From what I know... in Korea, the most expensive one from the original dessert cafe (Sul-bing) is about 9-10 dollars.
I watched this like a month ago or less I want to watch it again cause..... IM BORED
Most bingsoos I've tried are made with frozen milk and they have condensed milk on top so you guys should really do more research before going on hype hunts so that no one gets sick~
How do you not like mango if you have never tried it " I don't like the color " 😂😂😑😑
I love mangos,i don't care about the color. Sooooo good mangos
The part where she asks her why she don't like mangos when she haven't tried before and answers I don't like the Colour and she drops her spoon,I choked on my saliva and laughed
so if jem goes there alone to eat the bingsu how is she going to line up for a table and chair and line up for the food.
I tried Green Tea Bingsu at SOTA and it was so good and defn much cheaper.
I am dying of laughter cays wage said she doesn't like mango cause of the color 😂😂😂😂😂😂 even emojis can't explain how much I am laughing
I just went on Tuesday and Thanks for the recommendation and its less crowded during weekday and i love the mango cheese cake
These two hosts have very hostile head-on personalities. As a viewer, I feel very uneasy and turned-off by their remarks and hosting. No charisma and no appeal at all. "I think this is muah chee!" says the host who has been to korea and does not know it was in fact Korean rice cake.
Lives in a tropical country, never tried mango...
+chopsticks and I don't even believe her...throughout 20years+ and never tried mango in a tropical country..and she had to courage to try while filming JUST LIKE THAT without struggle..lol bullshit
Mango isn't some crazy food so of course she had the courage to eat it. I live in Singapore as well and I've never tried mango before, but I would try it if it was for a show
Even i have never had mango but dont like it.
the snowy stuff is frozen milk
I like how she says "Don't judge a book by it's cover" for the 2 different Bingsu's but she says she doesn't like mango because of the colour. LOL.
Ladies!! I love your make up look! Please do share what are you wearing~ especially on your lips 😍😍😍
Thank you for sharing whether it's worth going to try or not. Xoxo
"I don't like mango"
"You don't like mango ??" "Who doesn't like mango ??"
"Me...I just say I don't like mango"
Me: 😂😂😂
"cmon who doesnt like mango?"
"erm... me, i just said i dont like mango!"
XD
how doesn't like mango it is just the best I have mango juice and mango it self
for all the haters, i also got bingsoo at a korean place in ktown www.yelp.com/biz/sul-and-beans-los-angeles like two months ago. it was overpriced for a measly portion. yeah it looked nice but fuk. its similar to taiwanese shaved snow except the taiwanese version is better portioned and cheaper . not saying its bad but if you're so bent on defending this, you're just wasting your money because there's better stuff out there.
+Serin Kim Dude I totally agree. That's why I mentioned "overpriced for a measly portion". Except that place had high reviews and being in ktown (koreantown) thought it was legit.
But it was just overhyped. It's really just like shaved snow except that is cheaper
+Serin Kim Everything is expensive in Singapore.
That mango conversation though hahahaha. I was treated to bingsu once and it was about 12 bucks for one. It's nice to look at and great for photos but the taste is mediocre and I wouldn't pay to eat it tbh.
PS: Is That F Word ever going to come back? :X
The bingsu in Singapore is good but the bingsu in Korea is so much nicer although the price is about the same. Injeolmi is pretty good, kinda reminds me of the sawdust pudding in Macau. I think SG can learn from KR to make the cheesecake bite-size but then again, they aren't as generous as KR with the serving. :/
and pat in korean means redbean
I like this show concept, but the host sucks. They always complain
I think it's only jem she's always whiny & it's annoying
If u hate it then why even bother watching it .-.
We have this in Taiwan too.
where is this place?
Even i don't like mango. But it doesn't mean i don't like its color😁😁.. i just don't like the feeling of chewing mango. But i can drink it.
The chemistry bet these 2 hosts is 🔥💕 out of this world amazing! in love with the Hype Hunt now
U shld do a proper one on foodporn
They are my favorite I love this series
I laughed so hard when they did the coughing collage
There is one at Bukit Timah Plaza! It's really nice!
Yah people they're not trying to be judges like Masterchef or professional cooking shows.
They're real people with different tastes and different problems, saying their opinion on food at popular places.
I doubt a lot of people who went to the the place know /everything/ about bingsu.
So stop being rude.
Why is everyone so triggered?! They're normal people like MOST OF US giving their opinions and that's the point of the show gdi they are not fucking gordon ramsey critiquing food ffs
Im no expert, but I'm prettyyyy sure that isn't peanut nor soya bean milk. I'm pretty sure they're soybean powder , sliced almonds, rice cakes(injeolmi) and condensed milk. Btw I went there a few months ago and their condensed milk then was thicker and they used to use metal spoons lol.
Marina Square outlet provides free ice water at a small counter near the entrance!!☺️
(Ps I'm craving for bingsu now!!!)
I feel like eating the chocolate ice cream
u should try the Oreo bingsu at jcube.. it's so nice..
so expensive! I love your honest review though :D
U eat the dessert wrong.. I personally don't like eating the dessert without mixing all of the flavors together. It looks nasty but tastes deliciou!!
You can try that better quality and cheaper in Korea. In-Jeol-Mi Bingsu is being sold for $6.
Bingsoos are the worst. Literally the costliest shitty bland ice with useless dry toppings on it. I'd much rather have an ice kachang any day
OMG the girl who doesn't like mango. She is just like my friend! My friend who say she doesn't like to eat this because the name is weird she doesn't like to eat that because it looks weird, but she never taste the things she say she doesn't like
...ahaha....Asian culture brownies...kind if it's just cake to us
Jem is being a little ridiculous, saying she don't mango with tasting it. The reason was the color of the fruit, i mean c'mon....
Kudos to them for voicing out their opinion cause to be honest, all Korean food are just overpriced and meh. Japanese food are so much better and you can never win the French in desserts.
i’m korean
anyways guy this is hype hunt so its like, they are just hunting whats popular , they are not food testers either, try watching other episodes where they try things like products if you dont like watching them eat food!
i enjoy this idk why so many butthurt people here complaining, maybe i watch this only because of entertainment
Coming from a korean that Bingsu looks shitty. the presentation does, but not good ingredients and it needs more fruit toppings and the ice is made with a cream substance not just ice
i found a bingsu cafe thing at tampinese century square 2nd floor next to a accessory shop. they sell a few of the same and some different should try it since it isnt as long as the bingsu at somersat
I don't like mango but I have never tried it...stupid. No more food episodes for these two...
Arcade. I know it's like stupid but I need to know of the claw machine can actually be beaten.
I LOVED MANGO
I went there with my mom and her friends for bingsu and I dun really enjoy this dessert coz is very plain and is not sweet is just ice
I actually enjoyed their reviews, yes they may not be the best host or food critics but at least their reviews are honest not those sponsored kind. Anw everyone have different preferences .. I tried it once dun rly like it , could be bcox of the type I choose. I find the top too sweet and the bottom shaved ice too bland. I prefer the Taiwan shaved ice more
I've tried O'ma spoon a few times and I always get the injeolmi one during all of my visits. It's worth the price and portion. Nunsaram have pretty decent bingsu too and the price is also affordable. With a nice atmosphere :)
i totally agree with Roz taste bud, wtf don't like mango u go home sleep lah Jem~
HELLO CLICKNETWORK I WANT TO ORDER CHOCOLATE BROWNIES BINGSU WITH MANGO CHEESECAKE BINGSU
yay saw on app. but u all can try cafe Isadong at chinatown with purple desserts . looks good wana try
Would have appreciated their filming the making of deserts in the kitchen.
I payed less than $10 for my bingsu at another bingsu place
Um lactose but the ice cream & cheesecake doesn't affect her? Just the bing su..?
mango binsu not typical korean bingsu korean is more red bean and square cake and strawberry and they not korean i think se asian chinese
That's some really overpriced bingsu.
In my country, bingsu is just $4,its for 1-3 people
Haha, here Jem says she loves mochi but in Ep 1 of Hype Hunt she didn't like the mochi in one of their dishes :P
but the injeolmi bingsu has to be one of my favorites too, it's freaking good!
Please uh
they are just checking if its worth the hype and its their opinion, stop criticising
hey jem why u always so artificial. Ep 1 u said u hate muachi then nw you say u like them
Lol I subscribed as soon as I saw the "Who doesn't like Mango?"debate of this video. It was hilarious. And now you can definitely say you don't like it, because you tried it. Too funny! #FiestyFunny The back and forth conversation reminds me of when I hangout with my cousins.
YAY MADE IT FOR '' UPLOAD AN HOUR ''
"Banana just makes everything better" that's what she said.
hahaha roz face very funny when jem never eat mango b4
Traditional bingsoo, or patbingsoo(팥빙수) as we often call them here in Korea is shaved ice topped with red bean puree(red bean is called 팥,pat, in Korean), fruits pieces, gumdrops, tteok(think of it as the Korean mochi) and condensed milk pured on the top. Bingsoo is now more often used as a term to call any dessert made of shaved ice (either water or milk) and toppings. And Injeolmi is a type of ttteok that's covered in bean powder.. Yes that powder on injeolmi bingsoo is bean powder, no peanuts involved there:( though I do think they miiiiiight use a different recipe for shops in Singapore. But yeah that's what bingsoo and injeolmi is! As a Korean I just had to explain these.. No offenses;)
Is Roz from the tanglin show cus she look so much like Vanessa
Nun Song Yee's injeolmi is really good, I find omaspoon's one a little too sweet. I actually have never tried other flavours other than injeolmi :'-)
the struggle of coughing powdery dessert is so real....
You should eat the OMG bingsu it very nice and big
