Exactly, Ukraine is not strategically important to the US or to the rest of NATO for that matter. They just like getting their dirty money from the corrupt Ukrainian government, but they’re never going to be willing to send actual troops into this conflict. Russia was backed into a corner by NATO, Putin saw this as the time to invade because if he let them join NATO he would be showing weakness. Russia isn’t innocent, but they’re far from the only aggressor.

Exactly, Ukraine is not strategically important to the US or to the rest of NATO for that matter. They just like getting their dirty money from the corrupt Ukrainian government, but they’re never going to be willing to send actual troops into this conflict. Russia was backed into a corner by NATO, Putin saw this as the time to invade because if he let them join NATO he would be showing weakness. Russia isn’t innocent, but they’re far from the only aggressor.

Could have had measures in place like only a certain amount of nato troops are allowed in the country and only defensive equipment. Anyway they already have bordering NATO countries. They want ukraine because of the location warm waters, good ports to the black sea and oil, gas and grain.
@@connorgreen5228 the grain exports from Ukraine are not worthy of war. Russia is also a grain exporting country. Ukraine was dependent on Russia for natural gas and oil, so don’t know where you get that idea. Ukraine should just be neutral country.
