Excellent review Mark and I enjoyed it , and you know your stuff so I know its a slight slip of the tongue ( V12) but as for the model it is excellent, as you say, and I know these cars well. To be picky the LP400 remained the same 1974 to 1978, all with the periscopo roof ( in fact there are some ealy LP400s'with it), incidentally the periscope inside mirror was never made to work, so the models interior mirror is correct. The prototype you mention with the different side windows is the same car ie the red one in the book and the green one in the museum is the same. The models boot interior is not quite right but still very good, the outside mirrors should be Vitaloni Sebring i think they are , but they should have no stalk not even the slight one shown on the model. The door latches on the real thing are situated on the upper surface of the NASA duct but the tiny button they have used, is such a good example of the real thing, and positioned so you an open the model, so no one can complain. Seats and dash not quite right but a fair representation , and front wheels are smaller width and on the model they look the same but its hard to tell. Look forward to more of your reviews and thank you.
Hi Stephen, Thanks very much for your brilliant comment. I've pinned it so that people will see your contribution. Yes, I can't believe that I said V8!! :)
Mark Porthouse I actually owned this model before but reluctantly and stupidly sold it when I needed the money and regretted it ever since. So happy got it now :) I also wish CMC would do this model in 1:18 scale!
I'm afraid that I can't tell. I sold the model about a month ago. However, as it is 12th scale, I would think that the model figure would need to be just shorter than 6 inches, as that would be one twelfth of "just shorter than 6 foot" (human height). And it would need a good amount of flexibility to get in.
Very nice model, and quite rare too! Love the color (reminds me of the mclaren f1) and popup headlights (i admit ive always had a thing for popup headlights!). Do you happen to have a 1/12 kyosho miura to review as well? Been on the hunt for one and now i think i will have to add the lp400 if i can find it at a reasonable price. The only 1:12 lambo i have in my collection is the jota svr; a smashing model as well with voluptuous curves to match! And oh yea, nice shirt! 👍😎
I've got a 12th scale Miura! I'll do a video at some point. The Miura is from a bit before my time, but I got a great price on it a few years ago - so couldn't resist.
A fair number, although I did get rid of a fair number of 18th scale and a couple of 12th scale models during 2020. So it is now more 43rd scale than anything else. My Spark Porsche collection video and my HPI collection video, plus my Lotus Essex video cover a fair amount of my collection.
Hello! I have the same model but in 1:18 scale. I have to repair it internally but outside there are no screws to dismantle the car. Can you advise me how to do it? Thanks!
I'm afraid that I don't know enough about figures to be able to answer that. There is a 1/12th scale space in the cockpit and the doors open to give a good aperture.

Just picked up this model - your review really helped me decide to get it!
It is a great car and model. Enjoy it!
@@markporthouse I just posted a video of it on my page.

Yes. Fantastic. :)
Excellent review! Can't wait to see more reviews in the future
Just bought one, the same one in identical colour, can’t wait for it to come
Excellent. It's a model that you won't ever want to get rid of! :)

The Countach LP400 , 1/12 scale , made by Kyosho is amazing !
🏆🥇👏👏👏✌️🙂👍
Great model got one myself
It's a great model to have! :)
Looks Great!, Does a 6-7 inch figure fit in the drivers seat?

I should have posted the link to the Miura review ages ago. Anyway, here it is if anyone has missed it: ua-cam.com/video/haNb78FpByI/v-deo.html
how many models do you have ,would love to see your collection

Hi. I'm afraid that the 1:18 is going to be substantially different. Sorry.
@@markporthouse I get it! Unfortunately the car went to the ground and I don't know how to open it. Thanks!
Where can i get one of these?
JAPAN
Can you put figures in it
I'm afraid that I don't know enough about figures to be able to answer that. There is a 1/12th scale space in the cockpit and the doors open to give a good aperture.
The Countach LP400 has a V12 engine, not V8 as stated in the video. All Lamborghini flagship vehicles have V12s.
Hi, yes, I can't believe that I said V8! Hence I have pinned the comment of the first person to notice! But thanks for the correction.
