    Just a tip. You need to wrap behind the spear head too, to keep the shaft from splitting when the spear hits something. And since you used 550 cord, which has quite a bit of stretch to it, you need to reinforce it. I suggest running the 550 cord through something like wood glue as you wrap it. Alternatively, you could gut the 550 cord and wrap with the strands, although I would still reinforce it to be safe. When I make my own arrows, I use the strands from 550 cord coated in wood glue to simulate sinew as it dries out and hardens.

    Bro I just learned a new way to cut aluminum. Aligne the vice with the line. I love the long filing process. And the the overall shape of the spear head I like.

    Files Usually only cut in One Direction forward push if you push and pull you will doll your file faster just the tip unless you have one with the dual cutting surface

    The tip is to light for the shaft size.
    Make the tip out of brass or heavier materials

    Maybe epoxy your paracord so it can’t work off of your heel pieces with use. Great idea. It warrants making a tempered steel one.

    3D metal print would be easier as you are making it for decoration. Can make multiple and identical copies too!!

    I liked everything but the lashing. I tie thing so right I have wear gloves to avoid losing skin and getting blisters. Also it should have been lashed beneath the head to reinforce the shaft.

    you know if you take an old bed frame you have a sick enough piece to make your yes. That's what I'm going to do but it will be four pieces that will attach each piece to the other one so I can put it inside my staff

    The pear head is to light you would need a heavier metal to counterbalance the height of the pole for it to work properly

    The spear might look cool with the 4 edges, but it's less functional than a 2 edges because of basic science. It can't puncture as well with 4. The force is spread out more.
    I know you're not making it to actually use, but just letting you know.

      A practice weapon should ideally be heavier than a real weapon, This helps to improve your strength, stamina and handling. He should have went for a heavier material, Nice design but its functionality has been reduced dramatically.
