+Isak Pall Glad you enjoyed it! Connor is very fast! Make sure you check out the other videos on this channel from Winspers Martial Arts centre to see more of him and James in action
Nice for movies, but i wouldnt do that for real. First of all, when you are boxing your opponent he will move backwards so there will be room for a kick. Second if you throwing punches and do that move you will find your power going backwards as your opponent will also go backwards and you will miss power and the target. If you are punching your opponent and he stands there cuz of ring of clinch then is throwing knees a good answer to solve the problem. This will do nothing and can make you stiff as you land after your kick.
There are no knees in full contact style. However, I do agree, that when you are punching you should move the person back stepping with your legs. All this stuff they are showing is too much work. From close range pull out with a jab and start throwing straight punches moving laterally and readjusting the angle. Off that throw any round kick bouncing off the floor. If you have an extremely tight chamber you can also throw a side kick or a spin side off a jab or even a lead hook punch. Just remember one thing - when you are pulling out from an inside exchange it's best to be throwing a punch off the lead hand (jab or hook).
Good stuff. It's nice seeing other styles of Kickboxing in this Muay Thai saturated world.
