- Like most attractions across the UK, zoos have had to close during the coronavirus pandemic.
Edinburgh Zoo is under strict lockdown. And while the keepers are trying to maintain normal routines for their animals, they are having to take some special precautions.

I saw news as the zoos reopened in China, many animals are very excited to see visitors came back again.

Ju Ju I fully agree but another reason why zoos exist is to take animals take only have about 100-200 of its species left in the wild and they take the species and let them breed in a safe and clean location.

They are really not in their natural habitat its a facsimile. But I think they are happy. I love the Scottish Accent too having been to that area many years ago as tourist. India also has lost vast swathes of forests due to growing p0pulation and urbanisation in recent decades, as a result- Endangered elephants and tigers are k.illing one person a day in India as humans continue to encroach on the little habitat that these animals have left.
I'm from Colorado, USA and mountain lions and bears are routinely being tranquilized and killed because humans invaded the little habitats animals have left.
If you really care about the environment and endangered animals then do not repr0duce any children.

Must be nice and peaceful, less stress without a ton of visitor gawping or bashing on windows. Just such a shame so many of them now cannot live in their natural habitat due to destruction to their environment or poaching so they end up on some stupid human's plate or in worthless medicines.
