I just got a Foodi last month and was planning the exact same meal. You did good buddy, helped me out a lot. I like you sounded so relaxed and genuine!
I made a lovely meal in the ninja foodi which arrived today. It is huge. It's too big for where I wanted it to stay but we worked around it. So, froz3en fish steaks, and crinkle-cut chips and I didn't have to stand over it like I would in the fry pan or oven. And no added oil. Bonus. I had a tin of mushy peas in the pantry which was fortunate so we had a chippy tea. Lovely.
Yeah, saves time and plates, and takes less time in the overn. Plus I do not have to stand over it, the timer will alert me to it when it's done. Bonus.
I know, I’ve got a Ninja Foodi and it cooks things quickly and conveniently. I’m still learning, but I really enjoy your videos as you cook things that I would cook and eat. Thank you.
They got served to my GF. I almost always just cook for 2. Thank you very much for watching! Please consider hitting the subscribe button. I would appreciate it 😀
Really like your videos. However, I don't understand why you do not use a thermometer to see if your fish is cooked, and same question with your Bubba burger recipe?
Honestly its because I have cooked those 2 things a million times and I already know. But in the future I'll use one so everyone can see the temps. Thanks for the suggestion!
How about cooking the fries first, then flipping them and adding the fish halfway through, and then flipping the fish later? Everything would finish at the same time.
i was thinking the exact same thing while watching the video -- fries in first, followed by fish, just like you would do in a regular oven. my beer battered cod fillets from the warehouse club cook at 450, the same temp as the ore-ida fast food fries i like, so no temp adjustment or averaging necessary. i would have had to taste test the fries at the first stirring. 😉
Thanks for making the video. But I don't get the love affair with these air fryers. My main objection is the size,,who cooks 4 filets for a family !? My brother talked me into buying one on Black Friday, I got the " big" 8 quart ninja foodie. But I unboxed it last night, and I think I'm going to send it back to Amazon.
I cook for 2. I agree the Foodi is a bit limited in size but I would keep it anyways because its outstanding for the sides! Super easy to make hard boiled eggs (as many as you want), same for mashed potatoes, etc.. Steam up a huge bunch of broccoli while your cooking main dish in the oven. Foodi has a ton of uses. It's cheap enough. Keep it and try it. Once you learn the power of pressure cooking you will never look back...(Here's a tip. I use my Foodi several times a week just to quick thaw meat for the outdoors griddle. A fast pressure cook on frozen chicken thighs and I'm good to go)
@@ScottCooksI know most everybody just loves theirs. I really don't want to use it, mess it up some then return it. Maybe I'll pull it back out of the box and give it a try.
Hey Scott ❤ your videos 🙂. As as a guy with a severe physical disability, those where you have cooked several different items in the Ninja food at the same time, have Ben so helpful 😊. More power to you❤. From Wheelieman 😗
Hmm wonder what happened. I make this several times a month for dinner and never had any issues. Maybe your Foodi is not getting to temperature? Let me know if you figure it out. I'm curious. Thanks for watching
@@ScottCooks, maybe they didn't preheat the machine, and maybe the temp was not right or they didn't give it enough time. I just did frozen fish and although I did have to put it back in for 5 more minutes, it came out well cooked. Not the machine's fault, probably the operator.

Nice to be able to multitask doing two at one time.
Makes life easy

Great being able to do both at the same time.
I would be great if at the end you could summarize how you did it. Thanks
Watching the whole video gives you what you need. Why summarize?
Looks good.
Tasted great! I am always amazed how much food tastes better cooked in the Ninja Foodi

AM GOING TO TRY THAT TONIGHT MMM MMMM
I have done this one many times for a quick easy dinner. Let me know how yours turned out
I'll give your method a try!!
from County Durham, UK :-) thanks
Just what I wanted to find out thanks. Will hopefully manage to cook my first meal with my new Ninja and fish and chips together :-)
You can do it!
Very interesting; I will definitely try to cook fish& chips his way in my ninja foodie!
You should!
That's my favorite food
What did you do with the other two fillets at the end of the video? 😊
They got served to my GF. I almost always just cook for 2. Thank you very much for watching! Please consider hitting the subscribe button. I would appreciate it 😀
Thanks, hope this works with chicken tenders as well.
It should
Dear Scott: Is this machine an air fryer?
Looks good
It does!

I tried fries for the first time. Came out great. They just take a little longer to cook.

I was thinking that too p, watching this. To add things in stages. It’s a matter of lifting the lid.

Seems like it would have been baked more than fried doing it without any oil? Just saying.

So no oil went in to this recipe? ? Why not add a spray oil to this recipe if it is in fact a air crisp "fried" recipe? Humm?
No oil needed. I suppose you could spray it if you wanted too but I don't think you would get very good results.
That’s one depressing looking meal
Bad lighting I think. But the meal was amazing! It didn't depress me at all! 😁
Just did this myself at home and fish came out raw :/

That’s a fucking insult to fish and chips
