They were 63 cm long (since 2018) but cut em in half...now I wanna make em curly...

Your locs are so bomb girl ✨. Did you start them with coils or 2 strands? I’m seriously considering starting over and making my parts bigger (I’m 7 months in).. I keep telling myself to wait and see what my hair does, but I haven’t been able to shake it 😬 definitely thinking about combing them out
thank you so much beautiful! I started them with the interlocking method (for an instant loc process) one time with the needle and then just left them to grow; girl, my locs were so skinty but the parting was truly medium sized because my locs swole and got way thicker over time. If you don’t like them too much now (like the size of the parting specifically) I would handle it now bcs it’ll be easier on your hair 😊
@@RKLUXE True. Do you think it’d be better to comb them out or combine them?
@@shaunietru6982 it depends what you’re trying to do exactly, for example if you want different parting and parting size then I would comb them out but if you like your parting and just not the size of the locs or the amount of locs, you can combine them.. (this is just my opinion, because combing out locs can be so difficult after years of waiting.)

Hey how long did you leave your braids in? I think my hair type is similar to yours and I want to wear braids as a protective style for a while but I’m worried about my locs growing into each other while braided
hey I kept them in for two days, sometimes I’ve left a few by accident for one month they’ve never joined; as long it’s not too long your locs should be fine
They came out beautiful! How do you maintain the crinkle at night as you sleep?
thank you ❤️ I just tie my hair up with a scarf, the crinkles usually don’t last more than two days for me.
