Thanks Boss! Yeah I try to give everything at least a few days, but life usually ends up making me wear them for a week. Ideally I would give uninspiring fragrances 3-4 days and inspiring frags 5-6 but it’s all circumstantial.
Has it happened that you initially liked or disliked any perfume but later that view changed?
@seeker for me personally yes, creed aventus was meh imo ( was only trying it out since I had a 70 sprayer tester yk ) but now I kinda like it tbh, for 300-400? Nahhh but I do wanna get club de nuit limited edition tho
@seeker I have done fragrances that I’ve been disappointed in after a few days, but it’s generally because of performance. I never did a review of it, but I wore Grey Flannel a couple times after just smelling it on opening and that went from awful to not-so-awful after a bit.
Got mine off Amazon 2023 September batch and it’s a beast 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I layer this with aqua de Gio absolu

Great review as usual. I love Invictus style fragrances such as YSL Y Live and Azzaro Wanted, might give this one a try.

From this review it sounded like it has the more youthful Macy's Effect written all over it. Plus my stinker holes can't do fragrances with any apple in it. I like apples to eat but dislike smelling like one or having that apple note smell in my fragrances. Just not my tempo is all.
Dig the Billy Cobham LP. Great choice in music. I listened to his album "Magic" the other day. Got to love his tune "Puff N' Stuff" it's a jazz-rock fusion classic.

This for SURE has the Macy’s effect onto it - big time. I’m not sure that the Green Apple in this is what would turn you off, but this is definitely not the stink for you 😅 I use Head and Shoulders Green Apple shampoo as my metric for green apple notes, and all things considered, I had basically forgot Apple was even a note in this fragrance. Either way, piles of coumarin so very youthful.
I HAD to dig out that Billy Cobham. You mentioned him the other day and I immediately remembered having purchased a record by him, but I haven’t listened to it much, so I had to dig it out and throw it up there.

Hawas is a great fragrance that I prefer over invictus. I agree that it leans a bit more youthful and absolu leans slightly more mature. Overall, it is a great fragrance for the price and it smells great.
Indeed! Wearing it for an extended period of time was not a slog at all, even though there’s been a lot of these macys effect scents going on lately.
