you forgot to mention that bottom loader machines are much of a pain in the ass to clean because of all the tubing that you have to clean, the top loaders I love to clean because you just have to boil water with a little bit of vinegar and pour it thru the top and is cleans all the areas and drain
Normally i would agree.. However, our well water here is very hard. Our neighbors on the same water use a filter system, but it burns through filters fast and was expensive enough to purchase much less replacing filters very frequently. The calcium magnesium leaves a white residue mark on dishes, my cats water dish etc. I won't even hook up our ice maker on our new fridge because of it. So, there's a spring water spot up the road i can get free water from so I have 5 of the five gallon jugs we fill and use for cooking, ice cube trays, our drinking water and the cat because she won't drink much of the tap water either. Now I'm just looking for a decent water dispenser to simplify my life. I have a pump top for the jugs which helps but having hot and cold water on demand is a bonus.

Do you know of any that have a built in tank you can just fill with tap water?
U know some have automatic cleaning?
$70 difference between both Brio products? Is it worth the difference? What exactly is the selling point?
The self cleaning feature. I have it , it's a good unit.
