Eric saying “I love you too foreskin” is seared into my brain.
Heartbreaking moment before circumcission
Forcekin_n was the real winner
This is extra funny because doesn't Eric have a Jewish background?
Alternate title: ‘London Opening Trap Leads to OH NO MY FORESKIN”
He never even realized it: Force-kin lol
2:30 i love how dryly he says 'i love you too forcekin' 😭
Sounded like fore-skin, clever troll in fairness to it
Eric is so innocent
Eric's humor is usually dry and it makes me laugh my ass off, perfect joke execution most of the time.
10:06 "Ok, opponent setting up for next game"
💀 Bruh imagine being roasted by nicest chess player ever
Lmfao
Well we didn't get the full "oh no my queen" experience but we got the "disco fork" and also unpinning the knight by castling . Beautiful game Eric . Wish the opponent had taken your queen . 🙂
Dont forget we got "love you too foreskin"
3:38 is one of the saddest Eric Rosen moments I've ever seen. He seemed broken when he said, "Oh no, there's not a funny line..."
But there were so many arrows on the board
Maybe the true funny line is the friends we made along the way
@@timothysoar1321 He tried to will that funny line into existence.
@@catcat4697 You have reached a level of Eric Rosen-ness the rest of us only dream of.
@@toddwynn3397 oh no my heart
2:30 mad sus
If Eric says "oh no my...." Or "OH! there's a funny line!" You are in trouble
"there's a funny line": objectively terrible, but the opponent will probably collapse
2:25 walked in to that one. Foreskin 🤣
"Discovery plus fork equals discofork"
-Eric
Why can’t the king take the knight
@@p10rambo because of queen h5 check and black position is worst and it's loosing for black
2:31
"I love you too... Foreskin"
Eric knows more funny lines than a comedian
😀
Opponent tried his best.. He knew he'll not survive with this weak king.. But still tried very hard to survive.. Well played man.. Great content Eric.. 👍👍👍
in my elo it works more often than not (1100-1200). i myself (from looking) would have played a move and hung a bishop thinking it's mate at 8:22. took my solid 2 minutes to figure it out but *maybe* i'd think twice there. when i'm attacking i usually think like 10x about every move so *maybe* ...
"I love you too, foreskin"
forcekin
Honestly I was sleeping on you but dang, my chess has definitely gotten better watching your content, keep it up!!
I think most of us went from sleeping on him to sleeping to him.
@@xavierazad Sleeping on him ==> Sleeping to him ==> Sleeping with him
Really brighten up my day 🙏
His voice is angelic and calming. Its a different kinda hype.
Also he taught me not to rush. I know this sounds dumb as fuck but i use to play a move almost instantly, picking natural moves and not really thinking it through and that made me lose intrest in the game. Found Eric a few years ago now and ever since my time management is way better and i actually think moves through and have multiple ideas rather than multiple losses lol
@@jeremiahkermin4837 Pause
Now Eric is starting to get back into OTB tournaments, we are all waiting for a “Oh no my” moment in a tournament game!
2:30
“I love you too, foreskin”- Eric Rosen
Considering Eric is Jewish, it's a bit sad hearing him say this forlornly...
@@FluffyTrainz yes that was the most unexpectedly hilarious thing I've seen today, it was perfect
4:13 hikaru moment (bunch of arrows and then "maybe I'll just castle")
It's so funny when Eric play's the hanging queen and call out his own line 😂
My respects to IM Rosen. His teachings are quite good if we consider that he is just a human being. He is not at my same level in chess (3600 rated), but he is very clear to teach mere mortals.
forcekin
@3:07 there's a very pretty alternative line instead of Nc3: b4! If Qxb4, then c3! Black cannot take the bishop because of Nxd6, so black instantly loses a piece and has a collapsed position.
8:20 could have gotten the queen. Instead of pawn to d4, knight to a4, forcing the black queen to capture it and then white bishop captures the queen....or am i missing smth?!?
In the line that you are speculating, black's next best move is to capture the bishop (Kxb5) since the knight you just moved is no longer protecting it.
@@Jo_Wick he is checked.. he cant take the bishop
@@Jo_Wick as the other guy mentioned, he is in check but black is forced to capture and let the bishop take the queen
@@miningfordiamonds7978 the king can just take the bishop though
@@Shadoyama1 ah i'm dumb
2:32 Does Eric even realize what he’s just said? Or is he just playing it cool 😂
Lmfao I was wondering the same
He thought 4536 jokes before saying that.
Eric Rosen thank you so much for being my favorite UA-camr of the year, I love your content, how calm you are, always a joy to watch your personality, humor and cleverness. Happy New Year and looking forward to all your instructive chess content!
2:31 "I love you too, Forcekin"
🤭
*after knight moves backward*
Éric: the opponent is kinda setting up for the next game
lmao
2:32 "I LOVE YOU TOO FORESKIN"
This game should be added to a London course. Very instructive. Cheers thx.
“Why is this kind of difficult?”
I ask myself this question everyday Mr. Rosen
I see that Eric has mastered the shocked face thumbnails. You have improved since the first time, young man
Eric is so chill while annihilating his opponent
Thank you for uploading this eric
"I love you too..forcekin" lmao
“I love you too… foreskin”
Gotta love Eric
That was the prettiest mate Ive seen in a while
Fun to watch... the attacking style in combination with the patience of castling to unpin the king.
"I love you too, _foreskin_" Had me rolling.... 2:30
This is probably the most savage game I have ever seen...
Eric calculating a queen sacrifice and then saying "OH NO MY QUEEN" like he forgot that his queen is capturable, nice one :-)
We always get best London Lessons from Eric Only!!!
And Levy.
Also moving the bishop back in the final position is mate as long as the B-knight doesn't attack the white queen
This move was so beautiful
"Discovery plus fork is a.. discofork" LMAO
Pretty sure around 10:30 Na4+ would still lead to mate after a few pawn moves**
checked nope its not goes from like plus 17 to plus 2.3
@@sairayne8426 Didn't calculate it all the way through, just looked promising. Tbf, most moves in that position would lead to mate eventually
@@sairayne8426 the opponent would lose his queen, how is that plus 2.3?
That's it, I'm finally buying Eric's London Course!
hows the course going?
Question - On 10:31 Why didn't you play Na4#? It hangs the bishop but only legal move is Qxa4 and then win the queen
King takes bishop is also legal.
@@emillundqvist8126 true thanks
Exactly
" Discofork " Lol. Only Eric could say that.
"Is black in sugswang?" (Zugzwang in german lol) killed me 😂😂
Would’ve loved to see that discovered checkmate to finish it off
Question: at 2:05 why doesn’t the king take horse? Can’t see any threat why not and it isn’t mentioned
I don’t get it either
Agreed. Hmm?
2:30 "I love you too foreskin"
same
8:57 knight ro a4 just wins the game, the queen takes then take queen with bishop
Yes I've also noticed and shocked to see Eric can't see it ;) I just look to the comments if someone underlined this :))
king takes bishop
OOOOHHH NO.
You are one of the reasons why I became better at chess
10:20 , why knight to a4 didn't win the queen? It was check and the only legal move was Qxa4, am I wrong?
King takes bishop on b5.
Kxb5
I lost many games not seeing that the king can move and take one of my attacking pieces. I like to think I'm seeing that more often
@@poznaniak8349 You know what's funny is the engine actually recommends you sac the queen for the knight here, otherwise the king can be drawn out and exposed.
You can because it's check and the only legal move was Qxa4
on move 15, instead of exd4, Na4+ was stronger...you would have won a Queen!
I came to say the same thing!
@@hunterhancock2645 I came to say the same thing!
Na4 hangs bishop tho right? Kxb5?
@@sahlinegassi5456 Agree...my bad 😅
Hi, could you explain how does Na4 win the Queen? I only see the bishop hanging
11:10 Even if oppenent plays Bc1, its mate with Be2, B5, qb5+#
“Sometimes fantasy becomes reality”
That was rather brutal.
You helped me keep my wits whenever I blunder my queen!
A discovery plus a fork is a DORK
IT JUST BLOWS MY MIND HOW THESE GUYS CAN TALK ON CAMERA AND PLAY AT THIS LEVEL!!!!
He really said "I love you too foreskin" with a straight face 🤷♂️
it was word play, the name was forcekin so to eric it looked fine
@@disbade787 yes I understand that...
Still... surprised and not surprised he still said it...
@@jesselupinski9639 same. It started with "he said that?!?" Followed by "classic Rosen, so innocent and chill"
The disco-fork attack ahahahah
Its like one of those bobby fischer games against rene martner covered by agadmator
Oh no, our Queen
Oh no my sleep schedule!
beautiful game
He’s not even trying but this is a free masterclass on London tactics… Thanks so much Eric!
I believe the technical term for a disco fork is a 'dork' lol
Ive seen this opening before and I don't know where.
for some reason i cannot find this game on lichess :( it would be great if the png would have been put in the description so we all can just copy and analyse it for ourselves
10:08 "opponent's setting up for the next game kind of" saaaavaaaage
At 3:01, I thought that black would take the knight. Yet Eric clearly didn't think that was an option for black, and black didn't take it. So I put the position into a Stockfish online site, gave Stockfish its highest (on that site) level of 2900, and it took the knight. So why not take the knight?
This leaves the king super exposed plus the bishop hangs
@@miraltar4273 If white takes the hanging bishop, then q b3 forks white's bishops.
New trap learnt
Discovered attack
He's setting up for next game, kind of.
Just a quick note at 10:20
For anyone who asking "why Eric doesn't play Na4?", because Kxb5 (King take the Bishop at b5)
Ahh, thx, couldnt find it
Oh no my queen: kalm
Dahhhh my queen: panik
after queen d6, knight a4 should work... it wins the queen on the spot, the bishop isn't hanging because it's check with the knight..
When opponent actually plays oh no my queen at the cost of losing to a pawn
Great video!
Didn't Eric have Ka4 at various different times giving checkmate? Like for example move 16, or am I missing smth.
Really nice game!
@2:56 Why wouldn’t the King just take the Knight? What am I missing here?
Can anyone say why at around 10:45 he didn't move his pawn to d5 then either taking the knight, or the opponent taking his pawn and him mating. Or am I missing something
This is the most Eric Rosen title ever
Does anyone know what he is playing chess on? I want to get the same website link or app so I can see all the potential best moves after the game is played to learn. Thanks
After Qa5+ there is b4 which looks like a fun trap
hey just a chess noob here but at 9:05 you could have gotten his queen for your Knight with A4, queen must take the Knight and then you take it with your bishop
No cause then king takes bishop
@@mylord7191 oh yeah you're right lol
Instead of a4, I wonder if b4 would have worked, forcing Black's queen away from the light bishop, and following with Na5 mate.
Also, instead of Qc5, play Ra1ch first, then Qc5...?
Discovery plus Fork equals Dork.
OH NO!
12:00 bishop takes knight winning the rook
At move 17 why not knight to a4? Forces queen to take knight, recapture with Bishop?
At 2:04, why can’t King take Knight ?
because of bishop takes d6 bishop. Then you will win a pawn
Hi Eric,
I just bought your course.
Do you do online private lessons?
Eric at 8:23 you should have played knight a 4 you fork his queen he has to take because there's no were for the king to go
Oh no, my force-kin
Is Twitch the only way to get your London course?
