This is a song from the 70s, originally written and sung by a men trio called "Los chunguitos". That means that ,originally, its a declaration of love from a man to a woman. Gypsy singers can be formidable when composing and singing emotional soulful lyrics. And this song in particular can be considered a real love anthem in Spain. Good song to start with Rosalía because is the easier for non spaniards. My advise as next step is the song "Malamente" because will let you notice how wild she is, a total animal of the stages. Next one could be any of her colaborations with latinamerican singers because will let you notice her comercial size, which means that she is ambicious, and after that my advise is to start with the serious work: her flamenco roots. A good start is " Aunque es de noche" a total master piece wich was not composed by her but for one of the best flamenco singers of all times, Enrique Morente, and the lyrics are of one of the most important writers of literature in Spanish, San Juan de la Cruz, a monk of the XVI century and that poem was about God being always there even in worst times, so win win because you will listen her voice with two absolute masters of Spanish culture behind her work. And then you could jump into "De plata", probably the most difficult song for foreigners because her flamenco influence is total...well, after all that you will be totally impressed but not only because of Rosalía, also about flamenco and then you will be ready for the very serious step wich is to listen to masters of flamenco such the singer Camarón de la Isla or guitar players such Paco de Lucía, actually you can hear both toguether. Only at that moment will you understand the importance of Rosalía as a vehicle to spread flamenco music, world heritage, all around the world. Enjoy the trip! ;)

Not many reactors get the lyrics and intent as you have, I commend you for that 👏 Despite Rosalía's young age (27 I believe) she's done quite a bit musically. Her more recent stuff is more commercial and has quite a few colabs but my favourites are her older work because it's so unique and I feel it really shows her talent. I would recommend Aunque es de Noche official video, A Palé, Juro Que, De Plata live from Seville ( ua-cam.com/video/wfuPWAKGjBE/v-deo.html) and anything from her Mal Querer album. She's not just a pretty singer with a beautiful voice...she's so much more.

If you like her emotional approach, maybe try "Aunque es da noche" - Rosalia is imo the artist with the most immersive emotions i have seen so far...
