- This snooker match looks like a final, not only because it is long but also because of the atmosphere's tension from start to finish. This is one of the few statistics that do not favour Ronnie O'Sullivan, as John Higgins has beaten him in the previous seven long matches; however, the sportsbooks still place him as a slight favourite.

The controversial 2010 Higgins meeting: Information for people who had no opportunity to investigate further:
1. Mazher Mahmood, editor of the newspaper and 'gangster' in the video, was known for living performing similar traps (actors and other sports stars). In October 2016, he was jailed for a year for tampering with evidence involving a singer (a victim of his traps).
2. The original video lasted 11 minutes, but they only showed 4 min.
The video has too many cuts, answers without questions and vice versa. Moreover, they didn't keep the dialogue structure despite being professional journalists who own the raw footage. They could have excluded the moments of fear and intimidation; perhaps they brought up the topic of foreign properties, making us believe that the idea was Higgins' initiative.
3. Ian Mill KC* headed a second independent investigation―the first was led by David Douglas, former detective chief at Scotland Yard.―He had access to all original videos and audio tapes (as Douglas had). He textually concluded: "I have no doubt that the Association was right to conclude that this account by Mr Higgins was a truthful one."
His conclusion on Pat Mooney**: "he committed the most egregious betrayals of trust ".
Audiotapes revealed that Pat Mooney was aware of the 'bribery'. He told Higgins they were wealthy sponsors, and just before the meeting, he asked him to play along if the subject of match-fixing came up.
*Ian Mill KC is considered an authority in sports bribery cases in Formula 1, Football Premier League and Tennis ATP, among others. He headed the recent investigation on the ten Chinese snooker players.
**Pat Mooney, Higgins' manager in the video, was a member of the WPBSA board at that time.

- Publishing: Sunday, 2 May 2010, 'coincidentally' during the final at the Crucible.
- John Higgins at the time: 34 years old, married, two children, World N°1, reigning world champion, famous and millionaire (£5 million only in prize money―£450,000 in 2009).

The 2 best I've ever seen, Just imagine titles they'd have if there were in different eras.I've only seen them beat at there absolute best a few times and that's by each other.Hendry was outstanding from 1990-1996 but failed when these guy were still in there early 20s never mind the snooker they played from ages 30 to 40s
There is also in my opinion flawless filming. There are certain angels which the filming dependably is not very good. Which you can see on other channels. This user channel does not make that mistake. Very good. :)
I correct it when there is a replay of the shot from a better angle. It is not always that way :)

Great video, I loved the fast forwarded sections to the important shots. However, please don't use that kind of scrolling text from the right to left. It's very hard to follow, you miss important video action and it's even moving weirdly. If you just add a still text line at the bottom and leave it there for a few seconds, that's way easier to read. Cheers mate! Looking forward to see more Titans of the Game vids!

of the shots at play, ..."He's playing this with a lot of top, left- hand side/check side,"
etc.. are usually spot on, (he doesn't treat the viewer as a "moron") and the "Ooohhh"
he emits as he sees an excellent shot, really shows his keen love, still, of the game.

Young players ain’t coming out top like they used to years ago that’s why these 2 still dominate the game. I think it’s down to young people not going to snooker clubs as often. Back then your old man used to take you down the club but that doesn’t seem to happen much anymore and many snooker clubs have closed down.
Bit like the end game in Chess, you have to get that finish done as ruthlessly as the start or they see you as a poor finisher and may have a chance .Always keep the pressure on in their mind..

1º - A tensão que é o jogo entre o Ronnie e o Selby;
2⁰ - A vantagem que Judd leva sobre o Ronnie;
É difícil de acreditar que o Ronnie tenha sempre facilitado para o Judd. Porque não é do feitio de gênios fazer uma coisa dessas.
Sobre o Selby penso que é o clássico dos clássicos, lembrando que o Ronnie perdeu um mundial para o mesmo.
Só que infelizmente eu não posso saber o que os fãs desses grandes jogadores pensam, nem o que pensam os craques já aposentados, pois não sei falar inglês.

It has been used for about three years, and most pros use it today.
@6:23, why did Ronnie's green count as a red (1 point) ?? Was it because of the previous foul by John?? Because he potted the brown right after the green, and it's as if the green acted like a normal red one on that ocassion.

É Luiz, mas a verdade é que o jogo na mesa inglesa pede outro aspecto de técnica e destreza. Se você assistir sempre os grandes jogos de "snooker", vais perceber os desafios reais para os jogadores. Porém não pense você que esses jogadores são ruins e não sabem matar. Quando o Rui Chapéu enfrentou o Steve Davis na mesa brasileira, apanhou até dizer chega. E o Steve Davis é freguês de carteirinha do Ronnie. Igor Figueiredo, disparado o maior jogador brasileiro de todos os tempos, ainda não conseguiu entrar no Crucible. Se você jogar nessa mesa, você vai entender o "gigantismo" do Sullivan matando as bolas longas. Quem está acostumado com a mesa brasileira, ao ver uma bola pra matar de um extremo ao outro, enxerga duas bolas! 😂🤣🤣😜
