Great tutorial! Have you had to mess around with calibrating the 1V/oct jack? I've tried it half a dozen times to calibrate it properly to my Arturia Keystep but it never seems to work properly. Ultimately I have to use the Keystep on the lower octave levels and then pitch the EnOsc up to whatever my desired register is to maintain accurate tuning when playing across the entire keyboard. I'm curious if anyone else has ran into this problem.
@@MartinDoudoroffLLC Hi Martin - been to the 4ms site and can't find a link for it (yes, looking in the firmware/manuals tab) - nothing there... suggestions? Thanks
Now, not wanting to be a pain (LOL) but how do you perform the upgrade (ie, which button combo's and input for the wav file) ... again, no info on the 4ms site or on 'wiggler. Last question, I promise!
It almost sounds as if when you turned knobs on the Ensemble, the other oscillator was harmonizing with it. Was that the case? If so, how did you patch them together?
Great video and the jam at the end was sublime
Thank you, I just got two of them and your video is very helpful.
Thank you for making this instructional ... I had big problems before !
Great video! Clear, nice audio samples at the end, thx!
Exactly what I was looking for. Many thanks.
Would love to see a good overview of this module

Same, never had luck calibrating 1v/oct jacks and tracking is in general not so satisfying sometimes depending on the octave changes.
PS, wouldn't it have been nice for them to put a lock / latch switch on there for the pitch? 🤩
A pitch lock is now available in a new firmware update

Just released new firmware with fine pitch and pitch locking
Yeah, I need to re-shoot
Great tip!
Very helpful, thanks! 👍Curious, what is generating this gate pattern?.. and sends that to NG?
Pretty sure I was just using the Numeric Repetitor for something quick and dirty.
Great tut
Thank you!

They were not patched together or coordinated other than being in tune and sticking to the same tune.
How are you triggering the module? Is there a sync connection on the back of the panel?
The Ensemble Oscillator is a droning oscillator. No triggering required.
isn't shift+tune = fine tune?
You’d think so, but no. That “fine tune” is only used when you’re assembling scales in Learn mode.
What is that other voice? It sounds really nice!
Polygogo-the other funnest oscillator in Eurorack. Both through Natural Gate.
@@MartinDoudoroffLLC it must also be the NG that’s adding a certain pleasing quality that I’m hearing. A definite rubbery snap. Very nice!
