When Rob said he didn't understand the bug eating thing he missed the prime importance of it. One has to look when the comment was made and what was going on with, for lack of a better term "The Convoyistas" and that class of political discourse that has swept the planet. When Rustad spoke of this it was a big deal in that movement and his mentioning of that showed to those folk that he not only has their ear but his eye is turned to that media-sphere too. We've seen this with his comments on the vaccine, on nitrogen levels allowed in farming and the list goes on.

My vote in Victoria will probably not change anything but I will be voting conservative anyway. Given the damage they've done I can't understand why anyone would vote ndp. All the sudden they are wanting to make big changes, why didn't they act over the last several years? Anyone?

Eby is busy flip flopping on the things the NDP have inflicted on us for 4 years: Vax Mandate for Healthcare Workers, Carbon Tax, Drug Policy.

I just don’t understand how conservatives can complain about a deficit while proposing to indiscriminately hand out a fat tax rebate. Money needs to come from somewhere. At least the NDP plan stimulates the housing supply with interest loans the government gets back. What is Rustad’s long-term plan for filling his new hole in the budget? Not a plan he feels inclined to let us know about, if there is one at all.

Even without these new, incredibly expensive, promises the ndp have a $9 billion deficit just this year and deficits all years before. This while life has gotten consistently worse for working people during their tenure. It’s a clear sign that new, competent, leadership is needed to return the province to a successful path.

@@marcschouten3527 Your idea of competent leadership is having no concrete plans, denying generally accepted science, and basically telling the LGTBQ community they don't matter. How does anyone socially responsible look at the cons and think they got it all figured out? Try again bud

I been eagerly awaiting election coverage on UA-cam. Great analysis from Jeff. Relieved when you shifted to the policy comparison. … “gives it an edge from a policy perspective” pretty hollow statement about the housing policy but thankful that the discussion continued.
