Great video! I heard you say you use AWeber to grab email subs. I have a question about this? How do you tie your landing page to this type of scenario? Do you have your landing page send your subscribers to the Eventbrite event? or what are the steps for this process? thanks for sharing this amazing video!
Hi - very informative. One question: When the email is sent out with the link attached, what stops that person then sharing the link with a friend and then you get one or more attendees who haven't paid?
Hello! Thanks for watching. There are security settings in Google Workspace which allow you to only admit people to your webinar who you know registered. This is a paid feature. I've shared the link where you can read more about it support.google.com/a/answer/7304109?sjid=17321415716018322772-EU#safety
Thanks for sharing this, I'm not sure paid events work so well, but it seems free events get non serious guests... what's your experience? have you managed to sell tickets?
I've done both but it all depends on a lot of factors. What your event is about, who your audience is, are their problems so significant that they'd want to pay money to solve it, trust, credibility. Many different things to think about but if you've tried selling a webinar or product to your attendees and you got little or no sales it's probably not that they're not serious, but your solution doesn't resonate so you should test a different product after truly understanding your audience's critical problems.
This was really helpful. I have one question....you creaed the Google Meet link ahead of time. I guess that doesnt matter it goes live as soon as someone one on it?
Hey there. If someone clicks your Google meet link they'll come to a screen where Google will let them know that they need to wait for you as the host of the webinar. So it wouldn't matter if they click on it. They'll still have to wait. I hope I understood your question correctly.
