Also, when using the gun in admin mode (right click), it will capture ANY dino (even if you don't own the dlc for Oasissuar or Pyromane), even if you don't have any pods in your inventory! There's also a glitch that allows you to capture a corspe while in admin mode, and once the health begins to regen, you can throw it out alive 😅

@hits975 so I was playing with the MS Windows version of the game, but there's a bug (since the center got released) with that specific client (it's not just me) that doesn't register the fact you own Bob's Tall Tales, meaning you can't capture or claim any Oasissuar (I forced breeding with Cybers propagator). Once they hatched, it wouldn't let me claim them, so I just used the scs gun in admin mode, lol. Once you "own" them, you can ride them, get access to their passive resources, etc. Note, after they get deployed, they tend to lose their visual vegetation, but that might be linked to their passive resources? However, the same is not true for Pyromane, as you still need the dlc to ride them, even if you admin capture one.
All u need to do is shoot the bag it drops and it will pick everything up into ur inventory but yea it would be cool if all the stuff stayed in their inventory
@@hits975 ok, cool. But my concern with that is if there is going to be a weight issue. Like if I picked up an Anky full of metal, will it weigh me down ?
The latest version of the mod also includes a display case, as the vanilla display cases don't display the correct colour or gender of the dinonif it's in an scs pod.
This I just saw on the discord after I made the video lol I honestly think that this mod has honestly turned out better than Dino storage from ASE the changes and improvements are incredible :)

I’m about to do another review on Dino depot cause when I did it months ago it didn’t do anything but store Dino’s but personally I do like this one better but yes that loading is atrocious on the admin menu lol
You missed the fact that you can add ANY dino to the resource generation list... Select the drop down list, select the dino and click the big Add button.
Not sure if you are aware, but if you double press "R" (or "X" on Xbox), it will switch to an empty pod. Also, the hologram might not be showing as you tried with mod dinos (it looks like you had an Alpha Argy selected?)

Personally I like this Dino storage better than Dino depot it’s been a while since I tried Dino depot but this one hands down is my personal favourite:)

I like this mod, only thing I wish it would do is when you pick up your Dino, it also picks up the inventory of that Dino with it.

been kinda wanting to go back to this one over Dino Depot, but that loading every time you want to edit settings ive seen, seems annoying as heck

I've added several other dinos to my passive generation list, including female wyverns to make wyvern milk.

I just got Asa and am looking for a kinda hassle free Dino storage mode, would you recommend this one or Dino Depot?

Dinos that were put in pods BEFORE the big UI update needs to be removed and re-captured for the stats to display correctly.
