I've been collecting these for 4 years now. It is amazing to finally find others who know these are effigy. Quartz clusters have some of the most amazing geometric images that seem to have commonality. We are not crazy but our eyes see in ways others won't take the time to.
Big facts!! Some people think I'm wacked out or smthg kinda hurts my feelings sometimes but I just let em think whatever bc I know what I find is Actual Indian Artifacts Just bc its not Arrowheads don't mean it's not real!! People need to stop judging books by there cover!! Give everyone a chance and LOVE IS THE WAY!!
Hi Thomas, my dad found a rock with the figure of a human toy on the river of Mocorito River, do you know a place where we could get help to see from what indifenous is it from? Thank you in advanced.
Yeah, but if you pick them up and turn them, they change there’s all kinds of stuff in them. It’s weird how that works. I have some too mine are Flint a lot of them.
Nice pieces. Take a soft dry paint brush and gently dust some of those darker ones. There's more there than meets the eye. Try turning the flash on and take a pic of these in an absolutely dark room. It will show you what's under the centuries of crust. Great collection.
i like to use a blue led color light and you see the peck marks way better when you use a blue light with dark room ,,,,, i find the blue light plus pics on the phone that you can zoom in gets super results.. the flash idea works great thats a great tip thanks for that . have a great day
Some of these are also story stones. You can turn them many directions and find more faces. I have a few, but this collection is stunning. Thank you for sharing. xo
I knowhow to read them all why don't more people know I have hundreds ...trying to teach but people call them rocks...there is at least 50 animals in each one ...I can prove it
@@chasecarter1170 it took me 10 years of studying these things to finally convince myself what they truly are. so many are undeniable real art pieces, then you can start to see the others not so obvious. you really learn to ''see'' in another language. i can find them instantly now on the ground before i even pick them up, but i still must take them home to study them to find out what images are there. it truly is invisible art, yet it is a real phenomenon. they become very visible in most cases after the sun goes down or on cloudy rainy days. have you ever seen an ancient indian's abode? there are no windows!, it's dark and shadowy, and light is provided by a fire, coming in from a low angle. that's how to view these objects, the shadows really help develop the images.
I'm so glad to finally find some of my people's, lol. Just about every person I've shown my pieces to just look at me so confused and I can tell by the looks on their faces that they think I'm crazy, bit I have just started calling them closed minded ,at least to myself. I have hundreds of them very similar to yours but I'm in North Georgia. We need a forum or Facebook group something, to were like-minded people can gather in conversate and traverse and show off our pieces cuz when it's in your heart it's important because it makes me happy, thank you so much for sharing
Windy you are so welcome. Most people when they think of Indian artifacts they only think of arrowheads. They also think they know it all and they’ll judge yours quickly never taking a good look to see what you truly have. Don’t let any one tell you wrong when you know for a fact what you have. Archaeology is looking at what is old trying to find what is new. One of these days they’ll catch up and see what we have already found.
North Eastern New Brunswick Canada, home of the Mi'kmaq People. Have alot of beautiful portable rock art and tools i found this summer! Some are 2 or more animals/effigies in one stone! Also a pyramid rock with a triangle carved out in the middle! Cheers!
( In my area )The effigies fit perfectly in the left-hand (found in North Carolina at one particular spot) Every single one despite the weight and shape has the same exact feel and makes the pointer finger of the left hand hook out just a bit yet the entire piece is so comfortable that you hardly notice it’s there-other than the front finger. They all have this characteristic and several are avian, but not all. Some are just precious stones that although shaped differently fit in the hand without any effort, save the pointer finger! Your bird heads look a lot like my bird heads but I have many more crystal/quartz pieces
I have been artifact hunting for years and I am just now getting all this I already have some I picked up just because they were interesting now I will be on the lookout for these effigies thanks for sharing!!
@spencermccallister6455 sooner or later you will run into someone like me who can show you an incredible collection of objects dismissed by folks with untrained eyes. i have met up with very serious collectors and flint knappers who never heard of this stuff, and turned them on to these objects almost immediately. i even visited gary folgleman, the pubisher of indian artifact magazine, and showed him the art pieces in his own collection. he just smiled and didn't change his mind, but his friend there suggested i write a column for his magazine about them. this was over 10 years ago, and i didn't feel comfortable divulging my ''secret'' to all of his subscribers so i declined at that time. now the internet has come forth with many people who have discovered the same ''secret'' on their own, which is how it should be. it's a movement, and i don't know why it's taken so long to become known. i guess spreading the word as wayne is doing here on the internet has had a great impact.
Yes I have quite a few, at first I thought I was seeing things, but there’s a pattern to them, meaning there are a lot of bird carvings , also mammoths, etc. I love these artifacts, much more interesting than an arrowhead!
I glad you like them.i not saying I don't like arrowheads. I just haven't found vary many. But you are right about one thing, this time of artifact is much more interesting.
Although I can say for 100% fact.. some spirits, that's hoping that's what they are is just spirits attached to what to them was probably very meaningful or something. For absolute certainty be careful when it comes to finding native artifacts Sometimes something goes wherever the artifact goes.. I've felt awesomely great on top of the world, untouchable... I've also felt the presence, of a not so positive entity I'll say... Needless to say, although I still have and probably always will have these artifacts as a monkey on my back, Today I don't take them home with me.. Plus I only remove them from there resting places if they are absolutely something I haven't seen before. Then they go to my stash spot.. N I'll say I won't go look at them at night alone... All I n all a healthy addiction...lol
As an archaeologist of 27 years, these all simplely geofacts, these are not altered by man whatsoever. It's what your eyes see, like looking up at the clouds. But these are not altered and carved by ancient man. All made by mother nature. 100%
Hello John, if you truly are an archaeogist well then I do appreciate your comments. But I would have to say that you have come to the wrong conclusions. It is nearly impossible to judge an artifact just by looking at a picture. Unless you can hold it in your hands and look it over you can not make a complete assessment. There is too much to miss. Everything I show in my videos are vary much artifacts. I try to show as much about each peace as I can. But even with that if your in disbelief from the start its almost impossible for me to prove it. They are, I know they are and I am sorry that you can't see it. I can prove it. But you would have to see them for real. Again thanks for your comments.
also wow why didnt you study those clouds .dont seem to be a very good archeologist just by your first bragging sentence.i cant stay quiet no longer a wise man is a quiet man youd never even mention your were an archeologist .much less how long you been doing it if you had any passion or interest left in you at all .why did you pick your profession.money ,interest or passion.money dont believe that .but i am not you .good day sir
I’m me sided minds are a sad thing. Think outside the box. Go outside and walk some creeks and find some. when you realize there not as easy and not just natural come back and apologize. Look at that table. Do you know how much accidental coincidences that would be?
Natural formations? We have trained geologist/petrologist round here who would crush your two words with reality. Then again most of 'reality' is a program of lies that you've been spoonfed since birth in order to keep your eyes from working... So... Sure just rocks. Natural formations, nothing to see here.
Wow!That's amazing........ I've got a few I've found around ponds and sites here in Fl. I even found a square table? and a huge Boulder that they carved a hole in the center.....alot of stuff that was destroyed by the logging industry,papper....huge machines went through and over most.....but would show themselves after the bedding plow came through.
@Sydney Harp Wayneschoultz189@gmail.com I would love to see it. It may be a day or two but probably sooner. If you would , send a comment letting me know you have sent it. I,ll take a look and let you know. Just remember it's sometimes hard to judge something from looking at pictures. I will let you know.
I have a lot of these same type things. I’m in Illinois and I been going to Big Branch Creek it’s connected to Cahokia Creek. I’m 27 miles from Cahokia Mounds. My son sees the same things but claims that it’s just formed that way. I just don’t think he’s right. I’m happy to find people that see what I do.
These were found about 2 miles south of DESOTO mo. And yes it is hard for a lot of people to see them as anything more then just rocks. If it’s not an arrowhead then it’s not an artifact. Unfortunately that seems to be the usual way of thinking.
I collected many artifacts in Aux Sable stream, Dupage river , Illinois river and many other places in Grundy and Will counties in Illinois. It is exhilarating!
I'm up in Dekalb County not far from Johnsons Mound. Illinois seems to be significant as does most of the US. It is definitely a language used universally because images of things from other countries have the same exact theme.
my kids finally started seeing what wayne and i was seeing and why we were collecting.not only for the collecting .dont let anyone change your mind artist can see an artist and a closed minded perso doesnt believe and wants you to be there too. be you .
@@thomasatchison6296 that's because shamanism, otherwise called animalism, was the ruling belief system. people always had a helper animal, which becomes the totem or clan. when people from other clans intermarried they adopted both animals. look at the great totem poles of the northwest usa, you can see the family history displayed on them. these rocks, i believe, are representatives of the totems of the makers. btw, the shaman would transform into the helper animal in trance, then come back to the tribe with valuable information from the other side. pretty cool stuff. we can learn a lot about the universe from these rocks. i know i have.
i still say some are very very confusing to me .plus the fact that you have so many. we have a large collection of personal finds and have never found a effigy. they are very rare. you are a very lucky fellow.
Thankyou. And yes I have a vary large collection. Several 1000 at last count. This is how i believe it all came to be. The area where i found most all of them was in a vary large creek. In about a two mile stretch. It floods every year really bad. There is a smaller creek that joins it and from that point on down . Somewhere in the past maybe 15 year erosion has gone down to the level where everything laid and then washed it into the smaller Creek which washed it into the large creek. And sence no one believes this stuff even exist. It sat there waiting for me to find it. I know where the actual settlement is. And this is a vary old settlement. I believe part of the Illini tribe was the last to live there. And there were others that were there for many years before that. I would have to say there are still a whole lot left to find and the nices peace of all this area has yet to be found.
I may know the place you speak of. I have been collecting too There are so many that I can’t believe people haven’t noticed. If not the location you speak of it is very similar to your description. Thanks for sharing!!
What an interesting collection. I never knew there is a category for these types of rocks. Really enjoyed the video. Thanks, Wayne. Love it. keep it up.
Hay Bob, is like to see some your art artifacts. And also the book you had mentioned. I have gone through the same thing over my collection. Almost no one could see what they were. And I’ve got to admit at first I had trouble seeing them . My girlfriend at the time was showing me rocks and saying she thought they were artifacts and then one day It just clicked. Now it’s almost hard to miss them. I’ve had people laugh and even some get mad and almost fight. But no one was taking the time to look close. Not even the archaeologists. And that really bothered me because I thought archaeology was to find new out of the vary old and they would take a quick look and say no . But what I really cool is that people like you and me know so much more then they do. If your anything like me then you know these artifacts well. I’ve done this a long time now. You said birds ? I have hundreds of them . I’ll make a video with them soon . I have so much more art that I haven’t shown yet. I also have hundreds of tools. And only 6 arrowheads . If you mention Indian artifacts the first thing most every one thinks of is arrowheads.
This is the same experience I encountered. It took watching this and others shows for weeks, then it clicked. I had dozens of Indian artifacts that I collected and did not know what they were till eight weeks ago, I just thought they were Biutitiful unusual rocks I collected since 1961, because I am a Geologist at heart and I was a Chemist by trade. My collection is in the hundreds now that I know what to look for. I have no luck with arrowheads, only 20 from childhood when I started my collection.
lol I like what you just said Justifies what i said 6 arrowheads? I found 600 arrowheads 90% all there or better over 1000 broken pieces two years ago in one year last 2 years the same and i don't look for just arrowheads i have all kinds of tools drills scrapers pipes all the goodies . i know the difference of a rock and a artifact.
@@zzzzzzzzzzaper what's the difference then? I've collected rocks since I could grasp them in my hand and still to this day, I grab any rock that stands out from the rest which means I've got hundreds (yard, shed, boxes, attic, rooms, even in the bathroom...I like rocks obvi). I have a number of bonafide artifacts whose purpose for it's creation is really clear & perspective doesn't change it and it has marks where tools had to be used to form it in such a way and about 5 arrowheads. However, I've got tons of rocks with eye holes, which I've always thought were formed through intense heat and gases and others with smooth divits that are known to be formed by continual dripping of water on the same spot.... So, how can you tell if they are artifacts or just products of intense nature that happen to have patterns that our brain searches for. I really like to know so that I can take a new look at all my anomaly rocks that I've collected. Thanks!
@@Madd.annie26 I have a video on my channel helps to explain worked pieces they are pecked or napped, ground. The way you recognize is from many years of collecting you don't just learn overnight.
@@zzzzzzzzzzaper You've got great finds & they are what I would expect to be certified artifacts but what about stones like the ones in this video? Where is the line between real artifacts and pareidolia drawn?
You have some very nice PIECES ,I have a lot of the same pieces mine is much smaller than the ones you have , You have some very beautiful and we'll preserved , I love them
Thanks Michael, I'm glad to hear you like them. I'm not vary good at making videos but I am trying to show that this stuff is real . There is so much more then just arrowheads. I need to work on my showmanship. Might help. Out of all I have found , I've only found maybe 9 arrowheads. Well thanks again for your comments
@@wayneschoultz9738 I agree with you, I want to do a video of some of my stone's just to prove to my wife that I was right about the carved out faces, and eagles , owls I have been hunting arrowheads almost sixty years and didn't know anything about stone art but I kept finding odd things that had been worked but I didn't know what they were
@@MichaelThompson-tk4nw The way I got started collecting was my girlfriend and I were going to the creek getting rocks for a rock garden. She said one day that some of them looked like they could be artifacts. And we'll I've got to admit I didn't see it at first but then one day I looked and it all fell into place. From that day on they were everywhere. Now that been a few years ago but the spot we found was the place to look. I have found between 8 and 10 thousand peases. It must of been a village for hundreds of years. I've got newer ( 500years or so) going way back to the paleo. About a two mile stretch of creek full of artifacts. Since that first find I have learned a lot about it . I know what is and what's not. Now I'm trying to learn what each piece is used for. That's been harder then finding them. Good luck with your video. Let me know when you get it done. I would like to see it. You take care.

Hi, I'm a bit late in the convo here. I'm from Ontario, Canada. I'm a rock hunter- any cool rock, and about 4 days ago, I wanted to go out hunting, but was too sick- I have chronic health issues. So I said to myself, screw it, I'm going to see what I can find around my apartment building. I still can't believe it, but I began finding many tools- mostly from what I can see, to work stone. And I'm finding effigies- piles of them. Over the last 4 days, I've found 2 simlar shaped birds- 1 quartz, 1 feldspar, an eagle head- limestone, what I think is a porcupine- feldspar, a cougar head- agate, a couple uneven pyramids- limestone. The tools I find are quartz drills, scrapers, sanders, grinders- all very small, mostly broken, no big tools or effigies. The largest effigy is about 4cm, most are about 2cm. From what I understand, they're burial goods, and I *think* neolithic. I'm gobsmacked, I've been walking these paths for 17 years and never could I have imagined I'd find what I finding. I'm having the same issue as most people here- people can't see what I see- they just look like rocks to them. I'm an artist, I'm excellent at seeing patterns, and they are clearly worked. Of course if one has simple tools, they'll use a rock that already has a basic shape to start with, and they embellish it to bring the subject out of the rock. I'd love to share what I've found, if you're interested. Thanks for sharing your collection, and helping people feel a bit less crazy.
Im glad you enjoy my vids. If you have anything else but arrowheads your going to hear a lot of negative comments. But they are real. I guess it does take a certain eye to see them. But once you see them they are hard to miss. I am also an artist and i think that helps alot. I would like to see what you have found. Comparing them helps to see more of what to look for. Thank for watching.

As an artifact collector who has worked as a docent at one of the most prestigious museums in the US, I can confidently say there isn’t a single artifact in this whole video, they’re all natural rock formations and I’m shocked there aren’t any comments stating the same, almost seems like you’re curating your comments to agree with your delusion and I’m sure this comment will be deleted lol.
You sure of this ? Ill let any comment , good or bad , on my page. No matter how wrong you are. Dont get mad if i have fun with one now end then. Its been known to happen. But if you have Legitimate reasons to believe that my stones are not artifacts , present them and I will listen but I have many reasons to believe that they are.
And im delusional. Is that right. It doesn,t really matter were you claim to have worked , your no diffrent then anyone else with a rude comment like that. Do you know me. I think not. Unless you,ve got something that might help someone learn a bit of what to look for when it comes to identifying an artifact then keep it to yourself. The only thing shown by you at this point is that you have no idea what your talking about. If your gonna talk a big story then maybe you can explain why other then telling us where you once worked. Becouse as of now all youve said is just a story.
About the F.B. groups on artifacts. Do you really believe one can get a true, reliable artifact assessment. If you have arrowhead sure you can. If its anything else its no way. And not just a simple no, the comments that youll get are nothing but rude. I dont feel like reading there crap. That is why i dont. You seem to fit right in. So you go use them if you want. And its not your comments on whether you think they are or not. Or anyone elses for that matter. If it helps people learn great. If they are rude and give no reason for there commets then yes i may remove them. I may not.
@@wayneschoultz9738 Absolutely you can get a reliable artifact assessment using high quality pictures and videos from a group of people who are passionate about archaeology and artifact collecting. And not just for arrowheads. Lots of those people dedicate their lives to artifact collecting and know what they’re talking about. Does anyone know if the tribes in Northern California carved such stones or other non-arrowhead artifacts? I've found some interesting rocks but I'm unsure just what I have? Thanks
Hay Mark. I would have to say yes they did. Just for the fact that anyone living that long ago would have no other choice. There was no hardware store and stone would the only art supply they had that would last through the years. I'm sure they used other things too but yes alot of stone.
I found that if you press them into clay the images pop out even more, wandering if they used some of them for stamping the images in pottery, its very interesting for sure.
That is an interesting concept. Never heard of anyone bringing that up . Though I'm sure it crossed a mind or two. Myself I don't see why it couldn't of happened. Something to think about. Thankyou.
@wayneschoultz9738 you're welcome, I discovered it by accident when my grandson was doing it with one of them, the image popped out perfectly and I thought wow it looks alot like some of the images of animals pressed into the pottery in the pictures .I enjoyed your presentation .Thanks for sharing .
hey wayne, glad to see you are getting a lot of discussion. i haven't been getting notifications until tonight. i'll have to check all you vids to see what is being said. i don't remember what i said about birds, or that post is gone. i have found a magnificent heart right in my front yard. so ancient men even celebrated valentines day. btw, its the 4th heart i have found.
Hello Bob, seems I,ve been getting a bit of not so nice comments. None believers, what can i say. thats cool you found that in your front yard. i,ve gone a few myself. But then it would seem ive got several diffrent shapes. i need a bigger room or i need to get rid of some of these. and i keep getting more and more. Can,t help myself, i love it.
Hi Bob . I was wondering if you could help me in identifying certain stone tools. I have mini mini tools but I do not recognize what they all actually are or what they might’ve been used for. Reason I’m wanting this as I’m thinking on making some videos on how to identify that they are actually relics and what they are. the little chip marks , tool marks anything of that sort to maybe ease some of the skeptics mines out there. But mainly to help people out there to identify that they are artifacts when they are unsure if they are real or not
I have many axes arrowheads and some of these as well. But the best pice is a turtle made out of flint that fits in my hand. It is best thing I ever found
@Andersons999 I'm not sure but I believe the Illini Indians had a large settlement on the Illinois River. But they were all over from Tennessee to the Great Lakes. I'm sure that most of my collection came from an Illini tribe.
I found one here in Oregon it is shaped like a heart. But it has several faces it's made out of white quartz. It is a healer Stone. Too bad I can't send you a picture right now.
I have hundreds of Potawatamy artifacts from Illinois and eighteen Chippawa artifacts from Leach lake area in Minnesota that were unknown to me till just recently when I started watching your show that I collected there for 55 years. Some Indian faces have dates on them like 1841, 1711 and so forth. I would like to connect with you, and compair notes. It is not just about collecting artifacts, it is about the Indian culture I study. I am studying Potawatamy burial site that existed between 1690 to 1846 when the Potawatamy Indians were forced out of this area in the Tears of Death March to Nebraska around 1846. It is a Sacred to me and the Indians in which I treat with Respect.
There's also multiple ones that have a head and body that will sit on top of each other it will also have the pattern for where it connects I believe as well it was used as a compass because depending on which way the equator you're going depends on which way the head falls there's some that looks like chickens you can even tap them a little bit and they'll teeter talk back and forth like a chicken eating there's some that are birds you can actually sit them level on the corner of things there's a lot of stuff that is went and told and unknown by these so-called teachers
i've noticed many seem to have a spot where they balance and rock back and forth. perhaps they were toys for children, or novelties for adults. i try spinning them like a top. you never know what might happen.

To be honest ive never run across that before. It is something ill have to look at and into. Ive never seen that on any of my peaces but ive never known to look before. I will look and let you know . You may need to point out what you are seeing but ill keep in touch.
I've found many of rocks, just like this, in fact I'd say u have some that match a few of mine to a T... I catch so much bullshit ,from mam you gotta be on drugs or something. When one day me n my girl was on one of our hikes along river beds when I stumbled across a thin rock shaped like a bird head, I said look honey a Indian bird statue. We both laughed it off at first then I said I feel like that was really an artifact. It was just way to detailed to be a broken rock. She teased me, then later that night I looked up artifacts.. Sure as shit... Bird effigy. Then we seen all the effigies they made. Then tools spear points knife blades n handles... N boom I just has an eye for this stuff, it like calls out to me. But then these human head shaped rocks started popping up, not to mention the cone shaped rocks, I definitely feel there's some kind of energy generating from them. Probably much stronger even they are used for whatever the purpose
One can find out were the Indian relics rocks come from. Example::: Granite and flint does not exist in Illinois. Quartz comes from Starve Rock area in Lasalle county, therefore any of these rocks I find are usually artifacts.
I have some of the same exact tile man rocks that you have I have a lot more I also have a a giant Stone looks like a mummy's head or something and I have a little figurine head. The same figure has lines through it
bear on one side and profile on other is extremely common, perhaps the most common art type. indians considered the bear a kind of human. ''Many Native American tribes revere bears and have attributed human traits to them, including the ability to walk on two legs, fish, and use their paws to eat''
I believe I have an effigy , I found it when a was a child, it has eyes ,nose & a mouth people say it's nothing It's from erosion but I have always thought that it was a carved out face, could I send you a picture of it and perhaps you could tell me what you think
Yes I am for real. I not sure what direction your going with this. I will assume on eather way. So you will need to elaborate just a little bit more on this.

You must have a higher education on indian artifacts . Here you are giving up your own time to share this abundants of knowledge you have accumulated. Its nice to see there are still good people like yourself willing to standup and be that person. Thankyou so vary much.
@KarenOtte I can not answer yes or no on that question. They were found in a creek, southeast missouri. I have a couple of larger pieces that I would have to say are burial pieces.
If you don’t see the faces in these effigies, then you’re blind and someone is writing your comments for you. Great video, I have about 30 different, original effigies so far. I’ve had 2 authenticated by Ohio state university
Just naturally weathered rocks, not artifacts. You see this all the time in the artifact community and it’s the same story every time. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, and I’m certain you won’t believe me. That tends to be the trend when this happens, and it happens incredibly often..
@@lucaspeterson8701 just like lm certain that you will continue believing that they are not real, though. All you are saying is a photograph and not touching anything, not taking a good deep long look at it. These are very real artifacts, and it's a shame that if someone out there, like yourself is convinced they are not, that is a waste of history, but who am I to say what you're supposed to see feel or think. But you seem so sure and confident over it. Well, so am II am very sure very confident these are real. Beyond any shadow of the doubt
Many archaeologists and enthusiasts seem to believe they know all there is to know, without taking into consideration the propensity of humans to make art, or the obvious--that it is a difficult skill and none would have been able to perfect this craft without trial and error. The perfect stuff would have been more modern trade pieces, I believe. Cool collection.
You'll see three faces in each one of these and old man the young boy and as a Young Man you'll also see if a face of an animal whatever the animal was is in it is what they were named after you turn them upside down you'll get one face you turn them upside the other way you'll get the other two faces you can take some of these you can run them underwater must be cold water you'll be able to see some of their writings show up on it some may have to be lightly wet on top just like winning a high-rise they'll be maps on them stories and the best way to look at them and enjoy them is out natural sunlight as you turn them. And I hope that all this picked up correctly cuz it's Google translate and I did not proofread it
hey paleo, yeah i have read that in europe few of the animals depicted in the cave paintings were ever found to be staples of diet. mostly red deer bones are found. those large animals may have been too dangerous to hunt with spears. however in america, the elephants were def hunted and consumed. so i dunno. i have images of bear and elephants with blood trails at just the place that would mortally wound the animal, the neck vertebrae. just a thought.

I may not of been in the artifact field all my life but I'm thinking 35 to 40 years is enough. With the use of both my years of experience and what I believe to be good Common sense. I come to the conclusion that not only are they artifacts , they are exceptional artifact. Unless you are willing to come here and using in open mind , hold them, look them over , Examine them carefully and allow me to show why they are artifacts. Then your words mean little. No offense. I understand there are those who will never be able to see them for what they are. I know they are, there are thousands more that know they are. Artifacts bring out a different mindset in people. You either you do or you don't.
Ok Wayne, eyes only dosent tell the story, I'm credentialed. At least put some under 200 mag. Microscope, it will prove definitively ancient work or not no maybe.
@Leland Shanks Well if that's a Guarantee of the no maybe then sure , I would like to do that. I am positive of what these are. And if you have a way that is 100% no chance of it being wrong to prove one way or another these are or are not artifacts then let's do it. Then and only then will I except your opinion. No disrespect to you . I believe they are as much as you do not.
I have said many times that you cannot tell by looking at a picture. It needs to be face to face so you can examine with an open mind. Togather an answer can be agreed upon.
Look Wayne, just because 40 people commented positively does not mean authenticity when they can't validate them either. Like I stated get your state society involved or are you afraid what their findings will be?

what do you want to know? since there is no formal science dealing with this phenomenon as yet, you are on your own. what i can tell you is you have entered into the deepest mystery of your life. most of the seekers have formulated their own opinions of what it is, and as i look around, i see a cult forming. you have met the ancient ones and seen into their mind. pretty cool if i do say so. but be careful, you may become obsessed, and devote the rest of your time here under their spell.
I actually am researching for an associate who has become consumed. He asked me to bring a fresh look into this. He does have an amazing piece. The best I have seen, even online. @@gavinchristopher327 so you have 'seen' a number of these and this one is the best. what is it? what do you want me to tell you even if i see an online image? these things have a way of changing right in front of you, and the only way to view them is in your own hands, in dim light, where a camera can do almost nothing. i can tell you much if you just ask what you want to know. i do not have to see a picture.
Ok. First. How much time would be spent on an authentic. Second. Where are they most found. Third. What are the materials for the Pacific Northwest. Can we start there?

hey james, that's what i do. i leave them outside in the rain and eventually get around to looking to see what i have. it really takes some time to work it out. i have had some for years before they revealed themselves. and always seems to be something new pops out i hadn't noticed before. i also find i have to 'learn' the artifact or i won't be able to find the images. the 'art work' really isn't art, it was done as a religious ritual for burial, or as 'hunting magic' to help with the hunt i suppose. the images are so slight it seems only the creator knew what he intended and could see it, very personal to that person. another thing i notice is the preponderance of pieces, i can assume they were offerings that continued to be deposited over time like flowers on modern graves. they are truly wonderful pieces with images that flow into one another causing your mind to jump when one turns into another. i also think these were used as meditation pieces, you can watch them for quite a while as it puts on a show in your mind. watching them may have been a past time like watching television today.
I've been collecting these for 4 years now. It is amazing to finally find others who know these are effigy. Quartz clusters have some of the most amazing geometric images that seem to have commonality. We are not crazy but our eyes see in ways others won't take the time to.
That is 100% correct. I could not of said it better. Thankyou.

Windy you are so welcome. Most people when they think of Indian artifacts they only think of arrowheads. They also think they know it all and they’ll judge yours quickly never taking a good look to see what you truly have. Don’t let any one tell you wrong when you know for a fact what you have.

I can prove it. i still say some are very very confusing to me .plus the fact that you have so many. we have a large collection of personal finds and have never found a effigy. they are very rare. you are a very lucky fellow.

This is the same experience I encountered.

I can tell all of that is rocks 😂😂😂😂😂
Vary good ! They are rocks. Artifacts are alot of times Rocks.

But if every single artifact collector on an artifact collecting forum says they aren’t artifacts, they’re probably right. Can you point me to an archaeological article or paper written by archaeologists that contain images of rocks similar to the ones in your video? I’m sure you can’t

And I hope that all this picked up correctly cuz it's Google translate and I did not proofread it
Have you noticed that the animals represented in the images are powerful spirits not prey animals.
hey paleo, yeah i have read that in europe few of the animals depicted in the cave paintings were ever found to be staples of diet. mostly red deer bones are found. those large animals may have been too dangerous to hunt with spears. however in america, the elephants were def hunted and consumed. so i dunno. i have images of bear and elephants with blood trails at just the place that would mortally wound the animal, the neck vertebrae. just a thought.

Been in the artifact field all my life. All those are geofacts naturally formed. Don't think so? Ask your local archeologist or state chapter.

Your on to it keep looking and wash in water and leave laying g around you will eventually figure it out
hey james, that's what i do. i leave them outside in the rain and eventually get around to looking to see what i have. it really takes some time to work it out. i have had some for years before they revealed themselves. and always seems to be something new pops out i hadn't noticed before. i also find i have to 'learn' the artifact or i won't be able to find the images. the 'art work' really isn't art, it was done as a religious ritual for burial, or as 'hunting magic' to help with the hunt i suppose. the images are so slight it seems only the creator knew what he intended and could see it, very personal to that person. another thing i notice is the preponderance of pieces, i can assume they were offerings that continued to be deposited over time like flowers on modern graves. they are truly wonderful pieces with images that flow into one another causing your mind to jump when one turns into another. i also think these were used as meditation pieces, you can watch them for quite a while as it puts on a show in your mind. watching them may have been a past time like watching television today.
