This is my 3rd year doing the challenge. I love the idea of slowing down and starting small instead of rushing to finish tons of things before the year ends.
I love following your yearly challenges! Last year I felt so inspired and so I'm happy to get back into that energy this month, as I'm feeling a real change in my energy, ready for a new season in my life. Thank you for sharing dear Jules!
I feel like the holidays and the new year can really push people into a whirlwind of feeling rushed. I am ready to slow down and be very mindful and intentional before the new year begins :)
I've been doing this challenge since it's early days and it remains the greatest, most impactful part of my season each year. Wishing all old and new challenge participants the most gentle days ahead.
This came up at a wonderful time! My first year doing the challenge, and I'm excited. I've recently been transitioning my mentality from 'I *must* tidy/declutter all of this right now' and end up overdoing it or falling short, to being more present for and happy with the smaller, more focused clean up zones I do throughout the week. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the reminder of good enough, as a Wife and Mom of 2 under 2, my hands are always busy and I’m always feeling like nothing gets completed. It’s nice to remember that I did good enough for the time I had and what my busy days allow.
I've been watching your videos for years and always walk away with something truly useful, from fresh ideas about how to use Notion or set up systems to make life easier, to just a warm cozy feeling that I carry with me throughout my day. My home office sure could use a declutter and upgrade! Thanks for all that you do, Jules.
I love this challenge every year! I'm just getting home with a newborn so really resonating with the idea of "Good Enough" and conquering just one area rather than the whole house. Excited to watch next week's video!
I look forward to this challenge every year and absolutely love the idea of doing less this time and not more. Good enough is such a great way to approach this - we do not need to be perfect at all times or do it ALL. Excited for next week!
I started my first Notion this year after bookmarking this series a year ago. I've been looking forward to this so much, and it's finally here! I walked around my house and wrote down all of the things I've been putting off, like repair tickets that need to be submitted, because my anxiety prevented me from allowing people into my home. This will be my calmest year yet.
I feel like this is just what I need this season. I'm traveling for the holidays and feel so crammed with getting in gift shopping and planning to meet with family. But in many ways the holiday season can (and maybe should?) be met with a sense of calm.
This will be my 3rd year doing the challenge and it’s honestly one of my favorite self care acts for December! Thanks as always for hosting Jules and very excited to start with a declutter - my home office needs it!
So excited for this! Had a baby in September and it has been such a huge adjustment. I’ve really gotten into the rhythm of things but also try to embrace that not every day will go as I plan. And that’s okay! Excited to join this challenge and just enjoy my days no matter what comes out of it!
I've started doing a reset for where I will be for the holidays and working on putting like items together (like packages I'm mailing out)! I need to remind myself that "Good Enough" is what I need to strive for in all areas of my life. I wear many different hats so this is a good reminder. Thanks!
I look forward to your yearly challenges! They are always the perfect blend of motivation, helpful tips, and digestible enough to follow through. I really enjoyed this video and planning to organize my closet and then my office at the end of the month!
I'm excited to tackle my workspace for a reset - it's ramping up and getting busier at work, so putting in intentional time to reset and slow down will definitely be much needed.
I love this! I’m definitely the type to have the all or nothing mentality, and I often stop halfway through because of it. The idea of just starting small is perfect.
2025 is looking cozier already with these amazing tips for a calm and inviting home! 🌿✨ Loved how this video blends organization with a touch of mindfulness, making every space feel like a true sanctuary. Ready to embrace the reset and make my home a haven of peace! 🏡💖
I love this so much. This is my first year doing the challenge. We are getting ready to sell our home, so not only does this help with figuring out how to stage some areas, but it also allows me to think of things when moving into to our new space.
Such a great idea to limit this to one focus point. It feels more manageable and you might even be inspired to do more, but you won’t be too afraid to start because it feels too daunting. Also love the Logitech shoutout - that mouse looks so comfortable!
I always appreciate your videos and resets! Not only is your home and style so aesthetic it’s definitely motivating to put in the work and effort to find calm with these reset series!
I also cleaned my office and reset it. I have a complete ACL repair at the top of the year so I definitely wanted to reset and declutter that space so when I am able to walk, I’m not overwhelmed. From there, I did a hall closet that really needed to be purged and I had a huge donation pile for the women’s transition center! This is my second year doing the challenge and I’m amazed at how much easier this year was with switching my brain on to declutter mode!
I absolutely love your new desk setup, Jules! I've never thought about putting my monitor on an arm but see so many benefits to doing so. Thanks for sharing this beautiful video!
This is exactly the type of challenge I need right now! I’ve been feeling very overwhelmed with life lately so this is the perfect reminder for me to slow down!
I've watched the last year's reset series, and although I missed doing the challenge the same time as it was released, I did it all throughout this year and it's been really helpful! I'm excited to join this year's challenge and I know I badly need another reset before welcoming the new year. I have more departments to reset given I'm a student, and full time working.
What a great start to the challenge! This inspired me to finally tackle the drawers in my kitchen that have slowly been slipping into chaos throughout the year.
This is my first year doing the EOY challenge! excited to start a new tradition, and want to set new goals in the new year; and feel good about wrapping up 2024.
I love the reminder of good enough. It is so easy to feel overwhelmed with everything during this time. Thanks for the reminder. I really needed that. 💞
I can’t believe it’s been five years of these challenges! I loved that even in your office you just focused on your desk - my desk also brings me stress but I sometimes tend to feel like I can’t address it without redoing the whole office!
The new year always gives me a boost of motivation and I love a good reset! I've been watching your content since I started working from home and it has helped me get super organized and just overall calmer and more at peace. You've shown me how to set myself up for success and ways to put my creative energy into sustaining a life I can be proud of. Thanks for all you do! 🥰
This is my second year doing the challenge. I thoroughly enjoy the idea of slowing down at the end of the year. I have spent way too many years frazzled and focused on all the stuff that I felt that I "should" be doing. It's nice now to take it down a few notches and realize that "good enough" is enough. 😊
I can't believe it's been 5 years of this series! I also want to reset my desk space -- I've had some art I've been meaning to hang to have some inspiration and beauty to look at!
So inspired - I just cleared off my deck and streamlined everything alongside you while watching this. So much random stuff that now needs a place to stay (or to go).
Hi Jules, love your videos and your emails. Especially lately, I have been able to relate even more as I am expecting in April. You’ve given me many fun ideas of what to get/not to get and things to think about! Looking forward to this series!
YAY! I'm so excited for this and look forward to it every year :) Thank you for all your guidance through these activities, it's more helpful than I could ever express!
i love your challenges so much! i love how you named it the slow down series. i had one heck of a semester so i am definitely trying to slow down this winter break so i can set the tone for the upcoming year. i cannot wait for the upcoming weeks! i already reset my dorm room for the year ahaha 🤭
I love your end of year challenges, and yesss to slowing down and resetting. I always look forward to this series, I've followed along for the past couple years of these 🥰
Excited for this year’s challenge! I love the focus on one area that needs tidying up or a refresh. It’s definitely my workspace as well. Looking forward to giving it a nice spruce before the holidays ☺️ Thanks for all your lovely content and inspiration!
Such a refreshing video! Thank you, Jules, for the beautiful reminder that slowing down is not only okay but often more beneficial than constantly doing more. 💖☺️
This came to me at the PERFECT time. Been wanting to do a reset and this challenge will hold me accountable! Going to start with closets to make better use of them rather than buying more storage furniture. Logitech keyboard looks so interesting!
Watched it twice! Subscribe, opt in … 🍀 I just fount your account and this is the third video Ive watched from your account. I also just had a baby and also now work from home and you described exactly how I been feeling and feel there is so much to do. The whole slow down quote you used “Its good enough “ woow!!! My new mental reminder. Congrats on your mommy journey
wow that monitor arm really does make a difference. im going to start wfh job and i think your office set up is going to be my inspo!!! on another note... every room at this point is a problem key area since moving in (a year ago!) hahaha, but if i focus on one at a time i think i can finally get it all set up for the new year!
@@julesacree I'm a semi-new entrepreneur and it's gone crazy as I experiment with what I sell. I need more storage for supplies and I have a corner that needs to be cleaned out and turned into that additional storage space and it's perfect for a new aesthetic cabinet to host my supplies :)
I’m so excited for this challenge series! My husband works from home and we are slowly working making a deck set up for myself since I’m in the transitioning into a new office like career - a new Logitech set up would be the dream 🥰🙏🏻
Hello Jules! I hope you are doing well. I'm just catching up on your videos. This is my 2nd (or 3rd) year of your Slow Down series :) I recently got myself a monitor arm too but with the tray for laptop so both laptop and monitor are up so even though my desk is bigger it took some space and now I can some extra space on it. I'm still in love with your aesthetic and colors in your office :) Greetings ^^
New to this series and already loving it! I’m finishing up my first semester of grad school and my desk is a disaster! 🙈 You inspired me to do a reset so I can go into the next semester clutter-free.

Refreshing my office space is definitely on my 2025 to do list! I work from home half of my week and every time I feel the effect on my body!
I can’t believe it’s been five years of these challenges! I loved that even in your office you just focused on your desk - my desk also brings me stress but I sometimes tend to feel like I can’t address it without redoing the whole office!
I've been waiting for this Jules! Can't wait to dive into this year's Slow Down Series.

Love the office arm such a great way to add variety to the workspace!
This is my first time doing the yearly challenge. I've been prepping myself for this mindset for some time now. Ready to slow down and refocus!
This came to me at the PERFECT time. Been wanting to do a reset and this challenge will hold me accountable! Going to start with closets to make better use of them rather than buying more storage furniture. Logitech keyboard looks so interesting!
