    Just a tip for the weekly to-do list: you can create a button that will automatically generate a new week so that all you have to do is select the entire week and delete it on Sunday then push the button to populate a new week!

    This is so cool and helpful! I do have one question. I'm still learning out the tools in notion and I never knew you could make words in the table item color coded! Example: 7:20 theres the Act 3: Finale highlighted along with "Action Plan" and "Status Quo" color coded. How did you do it??

  • @tiger490
    @tiger490 10 днів тому

    Wow, just wow. I salute you and thank you for doing this. I will definitely purchase this template! Quick question. How do you manage multiple book outlines with this template? Do you also do all of the writing in this template or do you switch to another application for the actual book writing? Thank you in advance. This video and the template are incredibly well done!!!

    • @MelTorrefranca

      Thanks! I’m so glad you like the template! To answer your question, it’s designed for just one book, so I recommend duplicating the original template for each project. I’ve had some readers inquire about writing a series (each book would use the same characters and worldbuilding databases), so if there is enough interest I may create a variant version of this template. Unfortunately for now, this template works best for single standalone books, but you can duplicate it as many times as you need. Also, I recommend storing just notes on Notion and actually writing on a separate software such as Scrivener. Google Docs is also a good option.

    Hi. How did you make the chart that says Story Beats? I've never been able to do it like that. And where did you get that template of famous quotes? I'd really appreciate it if you could answer. Nice video.

    • @MelTorrefranca
      @MelTorrefranca  4 місяці тому +1

      I'm guessing your referring to the story beats database on the right side of the outline page-that's just a normal table with grouped toggles. Here's a video on how to do it: ua-cam.com/video/iKtXplmNqg4/v-deo.html. And for the quotes, I used widgetbox.app.

    Hi there Mel, what type of database is that with the toggle arrows? For example, in the Outline database, where you have all the chapters and scenes, how do you make that layout? Is it grouped by status?

    Have you tried out that playlist because I don't think it works. I've never gotten any playlists to work other than as previews.

    • @MelTorrefranca
      @MelTorrefranca  6 місяців тому

      For me it works with the full song sometimes...! I still haven't figured out why, but if it's only showing previews it's really easy to click and open the playlist on Spotify, which is still nice.
