Flamme's design is peak, love everything about her, she really has a legendary aura about her, and the ancient roman-like clothing also great for the timeline.
its very jarring how real this show is for a anime. the messages that it represents aren't crazy or complex by any means, but the way its represented is so casual and honest that we can't help but relate to it on a deeper level. there are no over-dramatic moments of characters bawling their eyes out to sad music in the background, instead they're mostly stoic, but we can still feel the emotions so strongly. its really refreshing for a anime to be this mellow and relaxing.
