    these are friends ,mentors & heros of mine . This is one of the best bands ever as far as live performances,firing on all cylinders.

      Saw them in a small club in Baltimore back in the day. They blew the roof off the place. It was in the top ten of the hundreds of concerts I've seen in my 59 years. Just Incredible.

      They were a new sound that ppl then didnt grasp. They were the square peg in the round hole. So much talent and a great sound all their own.

    I am proud to say - I WAS THERE!!!
    It was a great festival this year in Roskilde with artists like Nina Hagen, The Clash, Ramones, Jason & the Scorchers and many more

      Not many can claim that one. How AWESOME that must have been indeed. 💚 This is my favorite cut of this song they ever did! I actually opened for them in the mid 80:s in CA. NICEST GUYS EVER! Those were some glorious days. They still are. Thanks for sharing.

    Awesome band! Their music was fast and powerful. It was like a tornado shredding up the place! I would’ve love to have been at one of their concerts.

    Jason and the Scorcher's version of 'Absolutely Sweet Marie' is so good that even Dylan has performed it in an arrangement not dissimilar to this !

    I have the chance to see JASON & The scorchers twice on stage in Paris. Fantastic and great show. Unforgottable !

    Basically one of the most underrated bands that came from the 80s. The guitarist should be right up there with all the other guitar gods . Garth, Chesney, Zac and a whole slew of others owe this man who broke through with this sound and let's face it did it betteri

    Let me tell you...I knew Warner in high school and even then he was a great musician and all around great guy. I can't say I'm at all surprised that he has been so successful in the music world. Genuinely caring person and great talent. This is one of my favorite songs. By far the best rendition of this piece I've ever heard. Rock on WH.

    Jason did a stage dive at the 40 watt in 1986 and landed on me with his sweaty leather jacket. I saw them twice, they were fantastic.

    Our 1st opportunity for a paying gig in early 80’s was warming
    Up for the scorchers in Lawrence KS. They were nuclear, we wisely declined, Off the Wall Hall was never the same

    Definitely one band that I wish I had the opportunity to see more often.
    Living in Vancouver...the reunions were not possible
    My band was going to have Warner produce our 2nd album...predictably...we imploded prior to the recording

    Truly one of the greatest bands ever. Seen them 20 times or more over the years. Hired Jason to play my birthday party solo. It was amazing to sit down and talk with him over a BBQ sandwich and then watch him play all my favorite songs. Man I want to see these guys again soon.

    I saw them open for Bob Dylan in Massachusetts in 1989... I liked them better than Dylan's performance Jason and the Scorchers stole the show..

    Jason & the Scorchers, along with Government Cheese, Will and the Bushmen, and Webb Wilder are the reasons why someone invented the term 'Americana' to refer to a genre of music. It had to happen because nothing in existence described The Scorchers accurately.

    I heard someone say - at a Dylan show at the Fox in Atlanta {which Jason & Co had opened for} that Jason wrote this and Dylan covered it.
    I've heard the same thing from people actually in the music business...
