Congratulations Leanna... I'm going to work the first two days of the School Year [August] to see the Kids before I retire... [& work with my replacement] Four years with these kids, 29 years Total as a Custodian.
They are constantly fixing roads here. They fixed that one already. Leana is having a great school year so far. She is busy with her additional duty of being class president. I am constantly working with her on her school work. And extra work on her English. 😁

I did not enjoy enrollment days - my auntie/s usually came to school w/ me and I had to behave. LOL> Of course all my friends I told them to stay away from me if they see my auntie. In my auntie's eyes -I was a saint in school. My grades were good but I was not a saint. LOL - Maybe next time - I would like to see some of Leanna's friends in school. One is judged by the company the person keeps around them - to have been said.
I'll film the first day of school for sure; like I did last year. Leana is curious on who her classmates will be this year. Her grades improved last year. They might put her in section A this year instead of section B. She is hoping to be in the same class with her best friend from last school year.
@@dazeltv1351 I don't remember ever cracking my books in elem or hs but I maintained decent grades and never once failed a class. It was not until I got to the states I knew the meaning of academic excellence. I worked my butt off. LOL!
On average, private schools in the Philippines will cost you around $1,000 a year in tuition cost in the provinces from grade 1 to college. In the cities like Manila and Cebu the cost of tuition will at least be double; around $2,000 a year. I teach her English, we read together, and study a variety of topics with books and educational videos on UA-cam. In my opinion, the public schools here do not teach enough and too many kids in each classroom (37 in Leana’s classroom).
It is common for motorbikes to go the wrong way here; they call it counter flow even on a one way road. I just noticed Tatay because I haven’t seen a tricycle before go the wrong way on this one way road. 😁
