Just watched the review. Excellent. Is there a published maximum temperature that the probes can tolerate without melting / failing?
There is. Let me check the documentation and get back with you. Just looked, says 212F internal, 572F ambient.
Great review, I especially like how you demonstrated that you can check everything with the base and not be a slave to the phone👍
Im im the UK and cant wait for it to launch here (thermopro said hopefully the end of August/beginning of September)
Thanks again for the review🍻
In your video looks like probes batteries where almost depleted by end of cook. Was this the case or where not fully charged. Thanks greeat review .
I believe so. I only charged it for two hours so I could get the video done. I haven't had a chance to test the battery life. I know on the original, they'll make it through a brisket cook. I'll try and do an updateon battery life in the next couple of weeks.
Just looked at the spec sheet. It says 36 hours on the probe and 3 months on the booster when fully charged. I'm fully charging now. I'll let you know.
@@bignicksmeatsntreats Any new updates on the full charge? Are you still enjoying the Thermopro?
@f1rewars loving it! I'll do a test on video soon. I've had no issues with either the Twin Probe or the original TempSpike.Testing the Lightning soon too.
Ran it the other day for 6hrs. Went down one bar on the battery level.
Did you find the ambient temp to be accurate?
Very!
