Dan's a great teacher - fun and lighthearted but really knows his sh*t! Many thanks to Adorama for these vids, they're a superb resource for the whole photo community. I've been taking photos since 85 but I always learn something!
Did anyone ever mention the second button on her blouse was not buttoned and a bit wonky. Otherwise it was a great video once again. I liked the back background look with the Brooklyn Reflector. That was the best look.
Re Daniel's remark at 2:45: "Natural or available light shooter", David Bailey was being interviewed by a reporter anxious to show off his knowledge of photography. He asked Bailey what light he preferred. "Available light," replied the maestro. "Oh, you mean natural light." chimed the reporter. "No. I mean any f***ing light!"
I’m that one guy you mentioned that likes the hard light shot. Take that image, add some diffusion in post, and convert it to a medium to high contrast B&W image and you’ve got the look of an old school hot light “Hollywood star” portrait. 🤷🏻♂️
Carol Ann go into the light. Carol Ann don’t go into the light. My take on this was if she went into the light she would have gone where the dead go when they die and she would have been lost forever. So, they didn’t want her to go into the light after all because they wanted her to return to her family in the world of the living.
Thanks for having these classes. It good to see Daniel, and team again.

I like all the models, but Marissa is the favorite. Happy to see her back and hope she'll be back more often!
Love these sessions! You guys are great together, entertaining!
Thank you Marisa, Daniel, Seth and Adorama for this great exposition!
Thank you guys! Always learn something new watching your videos 📸🙏
Great to see you back 🎉
Marisa is back! 🤓🥳🥳
Daniel, I prefer the videos that just have you and the model in your studio.
Any way to stop the ads or reduce the number of them?

I enjoyed the return of of Marisa.--BAK--
Why does Daniel often cut the top of Marisa's hair/head off, or close to the top ?
❤
MARISSA !!!!!!!!!!!
Ah, yes-shorts and parka. That is the _required_ style of apparel in Boulder for late fall and early winter.
$50 for the umbrella, the reflector is free. The remaining $2,950 is Marissa's fee. 😉
Isn’t Marissa just lovely???? 🙌
