Ugh we had a semi similar experience with our 3.5 yr old w/Mears. We will not be using them again but totally respect you will still use them since they did correct the issue. We use Uber now but the Uber XL (car seat) option. Our last trip in Sept 2023 from MCO to Pop Century & back was $45-$50 per trip & then we tipped $10 each trip as well. We waited 5 min if that each time for pick up which did shock us. Love Disney but anymore I feel like transportation to Disney property is a crap shoot. Great video! Any mom who takes a car seat seriously will appreciate. Blows my mind how many parents let that slide.
Yeah, car seat safety has always been a non negotiable for us (hubby even uses a booster seat to get our kid home from the sitter's house at the front of the neighborhood, to our house at the back of the neighborhood). I need to download uber...I currently only have the lyft app and haven't seen a car seat option on there. So, that's definitely good to know! Thanks for the info😀
@@mommasnark6534 We only had the Lyft app too but a customer service agent at MCO told us Lyft doesn’t offer car seats but that Uber did-you just have to click the Uber XL option in the app. Happy Thanksgiving!
We always use private driver , yes you pay more , but everyone has different priorities… Nice they handle everything and you get to resort faster . Your Video was Great 👍
That’s too bad they weren’t friendly! We took mears to the airport from our Disney resort over Thanksgiving break and our driver was friendly and enthusiastic! They also played a movie about dolphins that my sons liked. On the way to our resort we did Mears express and it was us in a private van and that was nice because we didn’t have to deal with any stops. Luckily my son was big enough for the booster seat that was available.
Sadly on my very short solo trip this weekend, I got a transit van (no kids with me), and there were FOUR small children in there, just sitting on their parents' laps. Kind of floored me. Carseat safety is one of our big non-negotiables as parents.

This lady is full of BS..
Yeah im impressed with how you confront the driver. If its me i just be timid and sit. I dont have child though, maybe it'll be different.
