god... star stable used to feel alive. the silly bloom effect combined with the neon green grass really made it pop and feel unique and different from other games. the gen 1 horses weren’t perfect, but we loved them. there was always something to do. they didn’t have advanced mechanics, nor perfect graphics, but you could feel the love. i actually briefly used to post on this youtube channel back in 2015 and i remember posting a silly video about how game masters never visit our server and a few days later i met a game master on the server... or when i asked star stable when’s the life time star rider sale with 4000 sc is coming because my birthday was that weekend, and that exact weekend we got that sale. my 11/12 year old self frantically sending them stupid ideas and they responded to each and every one with genuine responses. there’s something special about joining a game when it’s still small, it truly feels like you’re a part of a big family and with such an amazing and loving team and community, it really was a family. watching it fall like this is breaking my heart, truly. i wish that at some point, in 2015/16 they just let the game be and started a new, upgraded project, because they’re taking away everything that reminds us of the og sso and you can’t relive these beautiful times whatsoever.
omg when i was like 11 i sent them my idea of having a beach, and LO AND BEHOLD WE GOT FP BEACH! they always used to answer to even the weirdest ideas and you could chat with game masters, i really miss it
@@m4tta right?? it’s the charm of small games. and i’m not upset that they grew - the game was still amazing in 2016/17 even 2018. the decisions and directions they’ve been taking in the past few years are questionable.
personally star stable has become way too adjusted to young kids. Loretta was mean, i loved old steves, old golden hills. I hate the new steves farm and silverglade it’s awful. It’s way too vibrant and cartoony. I also liked the old music better. So much more welcoming and happy. I’m sad now 😖 stopppp noooooo 😭😭😭
Same! Every time I hear the old Silverglade and the iconic Moorland one I get set back to my first time playing starstable, I even remember the smell of the room I was in when I first logged in, because I was just so blown away
This comment hit different. I’m turning 18 in a few months and I log into sso just to buy new horses.. I don’t even do quests anymore. The game is so different..
@@unowolfstreet94 honestly yeah, my father is getting frustrated because her bought me Star-Rider so that he could STOP buying me star rider to get NEW HORSES, and thats basically all i ever do, buy new horse, buy new horse, and never use them.
I remember bawling my eyes out in 2014 when my parents bought me lifetime for my birthday. i had played for about a year or two before (idk how i kept myself entertained). I played almost every day and never got bored with all the exploring, interesting quests to do, events, horses, it was everything my little heart desired. And then the game became a cash grab. I dont play anymore
same :( i tarted playing at the end of 2014/beginning (winter) of 2015 and as my parents didn’t let me get lifetime, i was a free playe until like 2018 (probably) and even before that it still was SO MUCH FUN!! but in like 2020 i started playing less and less to the point that now i basically never log in anymore, just a few times a year and even then it’s only to buy horse… and then i just log out :(( so many amazing things happened to me bc of sso and i’m just really sad to let it all go :(
I played for two or three years before i got star rider. I trained my horse everyday, caring for her, until I couldnt anymore and she was max. I remember as a starter, without the ability to jump or racing stats, I won a champ better then I can now. 💗
even without star rider, you could get entertained in the old game. i never got star rider, nethier the 1 or 3 months offer, and i played the game for 6 years... i have no idea how this masterpiece turned into a money-grabbing shit. it's just so fucked up.
This makes me realise why I started playing this game. But now it makes me realise what I'm missing today. The excited feelings I had when I saw new horses and updates. Now everything is changing, that's the feeling that I don't want. But sadly it is.
this is the reason why i quit playing. there was so much excitement and it was so alive. there was also always things to do.. it brought me closer to more people than any recent days on sso. i remember being so happy when epona came out, i remember writing down every horse i wanted.. now that things have changed, it hurts to play. i want to go back, but we will never be able to
I honestly miss old sso , there was so much more to do. They’ve just taken away the things that made the game fun and challenging . Also am I the only one that thinks the old graphics look more realistic? Lol
@@euranaao9362 that’s because cartoony is more functional and cheeper to develop. It also stays nice looking in the future so they don’t have to update the world again and again.
I am playing sso since 2013 and sorry for everybody but back then it was the most magical game in my life. They had less money but more soul. I still love the game but I want the old one back with all my heart. Thanks for the video so much!!! Every piece of old sso is golden for me. I had a hundreds of screenshots in 2013-2015 but then my computer broke down and I lost all of them(((
Okay. Growing up in Jorvik was fantastic, and everything was fine until the renewed the grass, the dancing animation, the bus... then everything. We need a nostalgic week or two, maybe as a wednesday update!!
I hated it when the bus got removed from the game... it was so much fun just waiting on the bus. I guess the sso team doesn't see how much those little things mean to their players..
@@zoeykingham I remember running after the bus with my friends desperately yelling at it to stop and wait! only for us to miss it and having to wait for the next bus. The small things really do mean a lot..
i'm not mad because the game is changing. i'm not mad because there's less effort into the game. i'm not mad that the game isn't the way it used to be. i'm not mad that the amount of bugs is starting to make it damn near impossible for me to enjoy the game because i notice each and every one. i'm mad that they don't _LISTEN_ to us anymore. i'm mad that they don't _CARE_ about the game anymore. i'm mad that they pump out horses every single fucking week and never add new quests or fix their damn game. it used to feel like such a tight-knit family and game masters would play alongside us. they used to love us as much as we loved their game. now its just money money money. being a player from when we still needed to log in using the _WEBSITE_ and they had the old logo with crusty ass old wifi connections, being a player who had an A4 writing book _LITTERED_ with drawings and diagrams about what i knew about our character and the story and the map and the theories i made, being a player who learned every single short-cut to every single area because i wanted to be the best player, being a player who logged on every SINGLE DAY after school, after homework and during weekends... i'm disappointed. i'm devastated. i'm heartbroken. _LISTEN TO US_ for fuck's sake SSO. _PLEASE._ we can still save this game and make it something to be remembered fondly. we can still make this a game that _'went through a rough patch but thank god that didn't last long'_ if you would only just *_LISTEN TO US_* when we ask you to fix your game because we've been here just as long as you have and we still want this game to thrive, it isn't just _YOUR_ game anymore. you're setting a horrible example for new players, sso team. they log in and they will be the first to notice bugs and quickly get annoyed, they won't take it as easy as we do. they don't have the years of nostalgia and hours spent on this game that ease their patience because _'oh i'm sure they will fix it soon.'_ they will start writing reports and emails and negative reviews and you know what? i fucking _HOPE_ they do. the new players are the only ones who can save this game at this point because ya'll have the power to rip the carpet out from under their feet and give them a bitch-slap wake-up call. sorry for the rant, but this game was my everything as a little girl. when i had problems in real life, i turned to this game for comfort. it got me through many a dark night and dreary day. it's AWFUL to see this game fall to cash-grabbing. it's like watching a beloved friend or family member deteriorate in health before your very eyes. i hope you are safe dear reader. take comfort, whoever you are and no matter when you joined our community, in the fact that here, we all want the same thing. you are just as valid as an older player, new comers. take care and look after yourself. -luna eveninghaven (2012)
I’m crying. I want the old music. I want the old silverglade. I want the old loretta. I want the old players who used to hangout and do stampedes. I want the happiness. I want it when it wasn’t for little kids. I love the old building. this was probably by far the absolute best comment and statement i will ever see. i want the old star stable management. They really tried to bring people together and t he worked so hard. i wish they were how they were before. 😔
@@starstablehuman3027 damn dude, i remember the stampedes... bloody hell, that's a blast from the past, isn't it? i do miss the old management. they felt like friends, not unreachable gods on thrones.
Couldt say it better myself , I’ve played since 2016 and all the filler updates, new offer , new horses just pisses me off , fix their damn game and make it enjoyable to play again. They don’t even have a quest team and it makes me even more mad how they lied. Also i bet that they dont even care enough to get one.
@@scourge392 i'm not going to sugarcoat it because thats not what my original comment was about. i _honestly don't think_ they care anymore. they'll start adding half-assed quests when they realise the horses aren't doing it anymore - if they dont release half done areas and clothes first. i don't really have faith in this game anymore. i play it now more for nostalgia's sake. at this point, red dead redemption 2 is a better horse game than star stable smh. the bugs are piling up and up and eventually its going to be too high a mountain to take down and then the game will just slowly die... that is if the team doesn't (sorry i know no other english saying for this) ruk hulle gatte reg en trek hulle fingers uit hulle holle uit and start doing something. they need to right themselves and get their fingers out of their asses and start putting in more effort.
I really don't think sso realizes how much we miss the old sso. How we miss the cat in the loading screen or how it opened the barn doors when you'd click to play, It was so alive an fun there was interesting things to do silly updates for when Easter came to turn your horse a different wacky color. Or how we all played the game together with silly wacky updates to the green neon grass, How most of us were so excited to go to the disco every Friday night just to see a bunch of your friends an to make new friends in the process. How new horses were exciting to get each hear, an how amazing every player was to the old races an old horses. To the graphics that weren't that good but good enough to make us happy. I miss the old star stable very much. ❤️
As a someone who played SSO since 2014, this video makes me extremely nostalgic and sad. To be honest, I really miss the old SSO and the old graphic, those crazy and colourful outfits everyone made and it just proved how creative people could be. I’m pretty sure that every old/veteran SSO player remembers that loading screen with a ginger cat named Rufus! :D Or that giant Shire horse in Fort Pinta during April fools (I absolutely adored our colourful starter horses) Old SSO had some charm in it, everyone loved the gen 1 horse models (especially the old friesian horses were really loved and I remember that anyone who had one of them was super popular) I hope I’m not the only one who thinks the same :D Anyways, thank you for this, this brings back so many memories.💗
Remember that one time that jorvik city plaza got realeased? And everyone would play "restaurant" at the cafeteria, group of people would be the service and the rest would be the clients
I do miss the older version, not only because of the nostalgia but also because we would come together as one and people were so much nicer. Nowadays there are unlimited fights in the chat. Also we had a lot of special occasions like Valentine’s Day and much more but they sadly removed it. I also liked the old crusty horses and that there were not a lot of horses with realistic gaits so people won’t show it of to the people who couldn’t afford starcoins. I love that they are improving but I am also sad about that. I miss the guest and just the feeling really that was put into this game. New horses were rare and fun to get. Nowadays we get new horses a lot. It’s not really that special anymore. I just don’t know how i feel about this game anymore… I really don’t know. This game really helped me cope with life but now that I am older i don’t really see the benefits anymore. I only train my horses but when i am done with that… I don’t know if i will log in anymore. Maybe only to buy and train a new horse
truly i miss the old sso so much.back in days i felt like there was something magical while playing this game, today there's nothing exiting anymore if i'm honest.this game gave me something everytime while playing it,idk what it was but it's sadly gone.
@@leoniekohler6348 true. There is no story anymore and it feels like they don't care about the older players like they did years ago. Also bacause we don't get sc codes anymore (it's rare) and they will give any new horse an special animation just so they can make the sc price higher. I can only hope that there will be a team again that will work on the storyline. They said they don't have a team anymore for that. And hope that they will care less about the money because they literally have millions and they don't even use it on the company
That's what I'm doing, training horses. I've been here since 2014 Autumn. I'm just doing dailies and crafting, collecting my weekly sc, buying a horse of every breed since the old Quarter horse came out and training them until max level. But recently my weekly sc is not enough to keep track with the new breeds, and I don't know if there's any point for me to continue to play this game.
It's strange to realize that I've been playing SSO for nearly ten years, honestly. I don't know how to feel about it. Even if I only play once every two months. Ah, so much nostalgia, I kinda miss the old days. The game seems sort of dead to me, very few quests, they're not even as exciting (I remember Raptor being a huge thing, everyone just needed to do the quests). The horses are amazing and all, but the game doesn't have the spice it used to have. Or maybe it does and we're all just older. It feels different.
i honestly miss this, i personally find it better then the new versions of the game.. wish there was a way to select if you want to play the old or new version
@@nne077 bro i literally remember searching hidden valley for the place i had once seen locked off just to find it wasn't there anymore because they removed the fjords months prior... I had lost track of the game because I was busy, and didn't realize that during that time, they would remove one of the still remaining aspects of the game that was truly mysterious to me.
Seeing this has made me so upset that SSO took out so much. I really miss everything we could do, especially everything we could do around the different holidays.
Sweet memories. The thud of the hooves, the chunky horses, and the old areas. I remember all of this when I started playing in 2013. I miss it, but the graphics and everything really have come a long way. Sure some things were changed, but I'm always open to it and have the happy memories of the old SSO in my heart.
It is not about getting old as a person. The game is getting destroyed because we know what it is meant to be like and there are so many good facts that Mia has collected. I really appreciate Mia's work and how she brought this all up, because that is the right thing to do. Thank you Mia!!!
Really damn miss this. I started playing in 2014- I had some real close friends back then. We used to play every day and have fun. But slowly, we all started to play less and less due to sso not being the same exciting game anymore. Because of the lack of interesting, fun updates I eventually stopped playing 90% of the time, maybe on Wednesdays get on for 5 minutes then log off. We were small back when we met, none of us really had phones, and none of us had social media either. Lost touch with them, and now i can never talk to them again. My closest friend unfriended me a while ago. I thought of reaching out to her, but her mail has been full for several months. She probably isn't even playing the game anymore, but even if she does, i have no idea which of the 4 server she's on, nor when she's even online (if she is). She used to be so close to me, we had so much fun, just reading back old mails we sent to each other i just know we both loved to spend our time together. Since that I have no friends left, everyone either left the game like me or isn't on the same server as me. I really have no reason to get on sso anymore. Maybe if they gave us more detailed, longer quests and didn't separate an update to 4 pieces while in older times they had such in one update- the team is really after money at this point and doesn't care about the players who make their game going and give them the money they desire. They can't even decide how they wanna make their graphics- The environment looks cartoony and magical, while the horses (at least try to) look realistic. Tho even the horses they spend 90% of their time on making, look crappy these days. Not the coats, those are spectacular- but the movements.
I started playing in 2012 when I was super young and I absolutely loved the game. I never had star rider but I managed to keep playing because I loved it. I was restricted to the quests and areas that only non-star riders could go to, and I trained up my horse to level 15 using only the four races that were available to me at the time. It felt like Christmas when they released star coin codes, and I saved them up to buy a Jorvik pony-my first ever horse that I'd bought. I trained that up using the four races, and then I started saving my coins again through the codes for like five years, and let me tell you-when I was finally able to buy the new gen 2 Arabian, I wanted to cry. A year or two after that, I saved enough to buy the gen 2 Friesian, the horse I'd wanted since it had been released. I think I really did cry that day. I think I stopped playing for a year because I got busy, being in middle school and all that lmao, and I probably thought I was too good for it, but then I started playing again a few years ago, and even though the game wasn't what it was before, I felt like I owed it to myself to finally buy Star Rider. I used my own money, out of pocket, to buy it, and I feel like if I'd had Star Rider when I was younger, it would have been much more fun with how immersive the game was before. Now, it all just feels rushed and a grab for money. Star Stable made my childhood, and now here I am, at 17, grateful to the original developers that made the game, and pissed off the with new developers that took over and ruined it.
It isn't the developers fault! It is actually the CEO who is in charge, and telling them what to do sadly. And from what I can tell, the developers aren't being trained well enough- hence why some have quit so far or for other reasons. It really is just the new CEO that is causing issues, in my opinion.
Since the beginning I have always wanted more obvious seasons in star stable, spring, summer, fall, and winter. For a little while we had an actual winter but they took that away and opted for a winter village instead. I know they want to keep game performance impact low because most people who play this game don't have computers with the ability to play very demanding games but at least give us the option to see snow everywhere if we are someone with a good computer and want to see it. Fall could have changing and falling leaves everywhere and spring would have flowers blooming.
Yeah. I actually feel so disrespected when new people call the old sso ugly because hell to the no its not. They just don’t understand because they weren’t there.
Idc how outdated it is, I’d give anything to have it back. The game actually felt…real? Like, you’s get a warm, happy feeling inside every time you hopped onto StarStable. You never got bored and you could play for hours. When you bought a horse you actually wanted it- not because of the hype of a newly released horse.. It was the simple things that we took for granted that we realise made the game what it was. And although I know we’ll never have it back, I’m grateful for the time I had spent playing Star Stable in the early days of the game. I just hope they bring some of the nostalgia back into the game to give it substance that it seems to be lacking. The game is amazing, it’s advanced so much- but it’s be nice to see them reincorporate some things back into the game.
Been here since 2015, these videos make me want to cry. I honestly have a thing for old games, old SSO is a prime example. Sometimes I wish we still had the old game, the graphics stood out more and had more of an cartoon affect. The old horses make me feel some type of way, I can’t explain it but sometimes I like them more than the newer horses, lol. They’re choppy and not as unique but that’s what I like. The game was also harder, you had to work more to unlock areas such as Golden Hills and Epona. I remember how excited I was when I learned how to jump, good times. The soul rider quests were also more difficult. I know change comes at one point, but it’s nice to have old stuff every once in awhile.
I miss old sso, old graphics, old characters, old places, music, pets, EVERYTHING. I remeber old Midsummer, it was fantastic.I I remeber winter in Jorvik. I remeber Mr. Kembell's posters with cats too c: . I remeber Elizabeth..... There is a lot of things I can' t tell today because I want to cry... OUR OLD SSO PLEASE COME BACK
Awwww gosh i miss this SO much! Those graphics really were beautiful. That opening shot with the cat + the music really hit me. I wish it could be like this again. I know it won`t be, but, i miss it. Thankyou so much for this Mia :D
im glad you enjoyed it! i made this because its like going back to old sso in a way. well its the best next thing lol! i made sure to include the cat because it is such a big nostalgia hit for a lot of players ❤️
This reminds me of when I started playing SSO, tysm for all these it looks really beautiful and it's how I remember the best times in the game. I wish they had kept the feel and the quirky style, I miss this so much
the old sso meant so much to me. i was on it so often.. i got on it every day i got home from school, hanging out with my friends. it was all so perfect at that time, things were so much better in many ways. it used to be so alive and filled with excitement, there was also always something to do on it. i interacted with people on there without feeling judged because the type of horse i had or my level or my clothes. everyone was so much nicer as well.. i remember every part of it so well, and it hurts knowing we will get none of that back. i quit playing knowing this.
The gen 1 to 2 horses were so meaningful and had such an impact whenever they came out ! It was impressive… I really miss those days, and everything hurts : the music, the lost events, the lost graphisms, the buggy gen 2 horses (when they hadn’t such bugs before, like the Lipizzan horses… what happened to my poor babies ? I used to love them soooo much). Honestly, this isn’t only nostalgia. It feels like we lost the game we loved. It appears to be us, mourning the Old SSO we loved, the one that was making us happy. They’ve lost everything, starting by the game ambiance and feelings it gave to us, players. I remember, everything was always a big deal : buying a horse, new updates, racing, questing, riding around to discover… Thanks for making this video, I really loved it even though I feel sad seeing all we’ve lost.
Even tho I only started around summer 2018, i still really miss this. I’m only 14 rn so i couldn’t really have started earlier but it was still such a big part of my late childhood that i just want back. I remember logging into the game in the mornings before school just to play for around 10 minutes, but just that was so amazing. I didn’t get to experience the really old stuff, like the characters Since i think they got updated around 2018 (?) but just seeing videos from reslly old gameplay makes me tear up Since i loved watching old sso videos too. As much as i like the look of the new graphics, horses, npc, places etc. I still hate it. It just feels like they barely care for the game anymore and i’ve almost completely stopped playing. I haven’t logged in in probably a month, i only logged it for 10 minutes to see the appaloosas. It’s just not a game for me anymore.
this game genuinely holds such a special little place in my heart!! i appreciate it so much not only for the memories i made on it, but the community and the team behind it. i was around like 9/12 when i was in my peak sso era and i remember sending the support team little emails and i was always met with such a sweet and well-thought out response :( the appreciation the team has for the players is so sweet and something so rare w games!! im 15 now and ive recently been getting back into sso again and i forgot how much ive missed it
I miss the old star stable. My favorite thing in the game was the Christmas holiday and going to the mall with the bus. I also really miss the Kallters. I'm going to stop paying for this game. They don't appreciate us anymore. They don't give us what we want. Yet they make millions of dollars! RUDE.
true. i also decided to spend my money better. they don’t deserve it anymore. no matter how beautiful some of the new horses are- they don’t make the game. sso nearly threw away everything that made this game so special and fun to play. i’m so sad about the changes. i’m not able to enjoy this game any longer..
I've been in therapy again recently for a lot of childhood issues and seeing this video made me cry. I don't play much anymore but just seeing this reminded me of how much of a lifeline this game was for me back then and how much I relied on it. I could escape into a world of stories and magic and friendly people but it appears that world no longer really exists in the same way. It is saddening to see what it has become but the old star stable world was and always will be my safe place.
*Experience the nostalgia by season, these are the time stamps* 0:00 is Spring Time (Valentine's Day, April Fool's, Easter, Etc) 4:25 is Summer Time (Midsummer, Beach Festival, Championships, Quests) 12:00 is Autumn Time (New Horses, Halloween) 14:47 is Winter Time (Christmas, Seal Pets)
Until I cry seeing the old sso graphics, I would like it to come back I started playing at my friend's urging in 2016 to 2022 but that's not the same I'm an old player and I don't feel what I used to. This game of loading into a game was once more fun than it is now.I miss fort pint parties, old character graphics, I miss everything with old graphics, it would be nice if they did so that we could switch to the old version of the game, but unfortunately it will never happen ...
I'm 20 years old. There are many times when I would like to play the game, but when I remember that Star Stable doesn't look like this anymore, I quit. Sorry we can't get the old version back anymore... Good old days... :’(
I started playing Star Stable in 2016. (i know that isnt THAT long) when I was 6 years old I would always ask my parents for a laptop just so I could play Star Stable. I would always watch star stable videos on youtube and think "I WANNA PLAY THAT SO BADLY!!!" and then when i turned 7 I finally got my very own laptop and I still have to this day. (in fact im using it rn typing this lol) and right when I got my laptop the first thing I did on it was download Star Stable. I was obsessed with that game. Every single day after school/ homework I would log onto the game and go on adventures even though I was a non-star rider. I somehow still enjoyed the game. Then after awhile my laptop just somehow froze and never turned back on for 6 months (its perfectly fine now, it has everything it needs) and I was very upset because I couldn't play my all-time favorite game anymore. Then after my laptop started to work again and I was very happy. Then fast foward about 1-2 years later I ended up quitting because as we all know, the company decided to mess the game up for no reason and change everything. And I was still a non-star rider and everything just got boring ya know? then fast foward again a year later I started playing again and finally became a star rider. I was probably the happiest human on earth at that point. I couldn't stop playing. And now the game has almost fully changed and theres nothing to do anymore. Its just horses. They don't even do events anymore. I am still very pissed about that because thats just saying they want our money. Theres never enough time to save up your star coins. Every time a new horse comes out everybody wants it. Then when they have enough star coins, ANOTHER NEW HORSE COMES OUT. Its so irritating when they're coming out with new fucking horses every 1-2 weeks. Give the horses a damn break and give us more events, quests, and stuff like that. They are messing up the whole game and it doesn't feel like Star Stable anymore. I miss the old star stable. Why did they have to change everything? They even changed our classic steves farm. I knew it was gonna happen one day and when I saw that it got updated I wasn't even happy about it.
Ah old good times.. I remember getting lifetime and I got to do the jump quest. I was so excited being able to jump I had to show it to my little brother too. The graphics were way better back then. And the music.. god I miss the old sso. It’s such a shame that everything is money money and money these days. I don’t really play anymore, maybe once in a month I log on to check around only to be disappointed once again. If only we could go back to the times when the game felt alive😩
This- I.. I can’t. It seems as if I were playing this a few moments ago, and now.. I remember it all. I remember when the the shires were released, and all of that. When I was a non star rider and just so happy that I could finally play a horse game. When I didn’t even quest, and simply wanted to run around with my horses..
Man, I remember starting the game in 2012. Little 12 year old me finally fell in love with a game. Unknowingly having depression and SSO was my escape. It made me happy. I made so many friends, some that I still know til this day, some I know IRL now, and we still play/ run a club together. I used to make UA-cam videos about SSO but just don’t have the passion like I used to. Now I’m 21, I still love the game and play it all the time. But something about old SSO will always hold a magical place in my heart.
A little story of mine, I used to play starstable a LOT. It was like an addiction. Whenever I felt sad, I'd play it, whenever I was home from school, I played it. Basically, I played it whenever I could. But this was on my old computer, and that old computer was donated to me so it wasn't technically made for putting games on there, but I didn't know that yet. Everything was completely fine until one horrible day my computer started glitching, and shut down. After that, everyday I played it would shut down or lag terribly. And one day, every 5 minutes it would shut down. That was the last day I ever played Starstable. I can't recall what day, but I was in 4th grade. Me and my parents found it my computer got 3 viruses, and my mom figures it's from starstable, but I think it was just the computer. Present time, I keep thinking about Starstable, and how I really want to get my old account back. I had so many friends and horses on there, and gained so many memories from it. I had a dream about Starstable a few days ago and it's been on my mind since.
I have never played in the old sso since I Started in 2019 but it feels like in my head I was there?? Idk but I would miss old sso so much if I had played it before. I think that star stable wanted to do better and change and get more people to play it but they did many mistakes that turned the game into boredom and people stopping to play it. If they would listen to us, that some people have played since the game started and listen to our point of view and how WE see the game I think it would be so much better and to everyone’s liking and not their liking… idk just me maybe? 😅🥰
This was my whole childhood and I will never forget how easy thing were and how much star stable helped me when I felt sad. I remember my parents wouldn’t let me get a horse irl so I played star stable ALL the time, this is forever and ever going to be my fav game even if I don’t play it anymore. Also all the memories with the clubs when everyone was such good friends and had events all the time. I just miss this time so freaking much. I remember the day I started star stable I always just ran around with my horse doing literally nothing else cuz it felt so real, me and my friends would always FaceTime and helping each other with quests we didn’t understand and when we got bored of doing quests we played hide and seek and it was so much fun. I really miss those people and the fun memories I had with them. Star stable is going to be my comfort game all my life. It’s so sad thinking back at all the fun memories knowing it won’t ever happen again:( I really miss old star stable when the servers were full of people, now no one’s playing anymore:(( I’m glad I got to experience that happiness with my friends and I miss them so much.
Have been playing since 2013 but took a break in 2019 until now. This is so nostalgic and beautiful. After losing all of my Gen1 horses (I logged back in and they were jjust... gone?) this video warms my heart. I loved star stable. But now its just.... yeah :(
@@LiaHummel5218 honestly I wish I knew. I never shared my account details but since I don‘t have any proof that I used to have these horses, they‘re just gone. Maybe I did get hacked but then why would they not change the details? It‘s confusing honestly and very frustrating 🫡
@@mooingcows I believe you that this is so frustrating and sad and I don’t understand how this is possible. I mean Star stable is always telling us when horses leave so we can buy them before that . I have also 4 Gen1 horses and everything is fine. Maybe someone really hacked you
I first started playing in 2014, although I don’t really remember much since I was really young and I didn’t play for long. Then in 2017, I downloaded it again and fell in love. I remember finally going to Fort Pinta for the first time and it being really special because back in 2014 I was never able go go there. I played every day, watched so many sso youtubers and was super invested in the stories. What I didn’t realize, was how much the game was changing. And not for the better. Only when the bus was removed, did I notice how much had changed, and how much I missed the old sso. I hate how different it is. I stopped playing because it got extremely boring; I had no more quests, or really anything to do. There was only fighting in the chat, or you got chat banned for sending a heart. I haven’t even been here since the start and even I can see how much it has changed. I really hope Star Stable will turn this around, they still can but they have to do it now
I miss old sso so much :( i remember when my dream in this game was to have the shire , the icelandic or the fjord, when i was so excited to see the magical horse
Even if old horses were crispy, ugly, they felt alive. They weren't perfect and that made them special to me. Now horses are like barbie doll horses. Perfect, shiny, beautiful. I have no problem with them, but if I had a choice, I would return to old star stable
I play since 2013... I miss: -the old starter horses, the first ones, all the old horses -when we logged on by opening the doors, on the website, and also the cat talking to us -the fact that ponies were slower than horses -the old graphics, especially Goldenhills that actually doesn't look like Goldenhills anymore -the old people -the old SSO UA-camrs -the fact that non star rider players could not jump -and so much more... Everything has changed today, since 2017 I do not like the game as much as I did before. I could spend hours and even days playing SSO with my friends, who left the game a long time ago... Now, SSO seems empty. I'd love to go back to 2013-2016. If only SSO could create another Star Stable, which would be the old version of the game, for nostalgic people... But I know that they'll never do that, sadly... I remember when I logged on for the first time, I was so excited, I didn't feel like that since a very long time. Sad
Been playing since the very start in 2011! I can't describe how much I miss everything about the old version. The first starter model and the snow in winter... The new cartoon-ish style really takes away from the games intitial feel.
I joined in 2015 but then quit after a weeks for a while and rejoined my old account in 2017. I missed the snowy winters by a hair!! defiantly nostalgia is still there.
thank you so much for making this video. i used to love sso back in the days and adored the game with all my heart. seeing it change it so drastically the past few years has really been heartbreaking and the game doesn’t feel the same. it’s become a game about money. they don’t listen to the old players or listen to suggestions the way that they did, and they don’t care for any of the old breeds, places, traditions or graphics. i’m not against change, but they’ve done too much and changed my childhood game so much. this video actually made me tear up a bit, because i don’t have much footage from the old sso, simply because i wasn’t very old and didn’t think of this. beautiful. ❤️
Wow..This video brings so much memories! I've been playing since January 2015 and SSO was a HUGE part of my childhood (i was 10?? when I started playing and now I'm almost 17, I still play sometimes). But I think it's not fully the game's fault that we aren't so excited anymore. I think it's the growing up :( You know, it was the best feeling to come back from school and open SSO especially at Wednesdays to check new updates, meet your friends and play together. It was so much fun and so much to do back then... Sadly, the new team is changing graphics and renewing the places. I know they want to make the game better but while watching this video I realised how good and nostalgic the game used to look. SSO had its own unique atmosphere and now it feels so...empty? The only thing that hasn't changed is the music and I hope that they won't change it because the old soundtracks are absolutely amazing
I just hope that maybe someday they add something for older players, something nostalgic. Maybe a museum in game or something. I know this won't happen, but my hope has always been that they upload the game files from like 2016-2017 as a gift on their birthday or something. I 100% know that won't happen, but I can dream lmao The game perhaps wasn't perfect, people even used to dislike the graphics and horses. Perhaps they were derpy, but they used to be ours. We don't value what we have until we lose it, I suppose...
I started playing 2013 on my cousin's computer evertime we were at they're house, 2014 I got my own computer and started playing on it, I've been through almost all updates, and this video brings back good memories❤ I still play star stable but my friends quit 4 years ago 🥲
I've never played Star Stable, but I played other games from these developers when I was a kid. These were the times when games were still played on discs. I tried to find the English name of these games, but I couldn't. I don't know if they were published in English-speaking countries, but in my native language they are called "Stajnia Marzeń" and "Akademia Gwiazd" which means "Stable of dreams" and "Stars academy". And it is on the "Stajnia Marzeń" that I want to focus here, because it was almost entirely the prototype for the creation of SSO. The plot was that as a young girl we came to the island of Jorvik to pursue horse riding out of our passion for horses. There were a lot of characters who later appeared in Star Stable. The graphics were the same as the old SSO. When you hear the soundtrack, which is still stuck in sso today, you remember the beginnings of the game. Then I remember a completely different, older game by these creators, which unfortunately is not very well known.
I logged on one of my lower level accounts to do quests, and when I was doing one there was a gen 1 starter horse in the moorland stable, for the quest of “The new girl at the stable” or something like that. It shows how much star stable only focuses on new horses, and hardly even works on quests at all
The old horse market and shops, OMGGGG and there were even reputation quests with them!! I remember as a non star rider kid I would always wait months for the horse market to go to Fort Pinta so I could see it
Ahhhh, the good old days of Starstable, I miss it… spending time with friends playing rps all the time when I was young! Riding my beautiful old models. 💕🖤 Stay safe everyone!
I played when the game very first came out worldwide being 10 years old, I loved it bc no other game was like it at all. One specific thing I remember is accidentally buying the change my horses name from the guy in silver glade and mailing sso abt it. They gave me the star coins back and said not to let it happen again like a parent. They were more hands on and caring abt their game, now it feels like a money grab. I remember convincing my parents to get me lifetime at $60, telling them I would play this game til I was 16, but I still hopped on every so often as I got older and older. I genuinely grew with this game and met some great people, but it definitely changed after so much time passed
God the old loading screen sent me into tears almost instantly. Core memory from playing it. I remember speaking downstairs to come to that very loading screen.
I would literally cry of happiness if sso could make us play the old game again. Sure, the game had old crusty graphics, characters and horses but we still loved the game for what it was. I think not just me, but a lot of us, regret asking star stable for updated graphics, horses and characters now when we look back though. I remember always hating the people that asked for that kinda stuff. Especially the people that wanted the game to be more ReALIstIC. This game was never meant to be realistic. It's called a fantasy horse game for a reason. These people helped sso suck out the entire soul of the game. Now we have updated graphics, areas and such, but where's the fantasy? The adventure? And the creepy, mystical feeling you had whenever you logged in? GONE. Happy now? I know I'm not. It's not just about that either. It's also about the sso team's involvement in the community. Remember sso news? I remember tuning in to that all the time whenever there was a new update. What a great way to interact with the community. It felt like we were a big family, it felt like they truly cared. And, even before I started playing, I've heard sso had competitions. Like, the players could send in a photo of their outfit, and the three winners got to appear on three separate posters inside of the game. It seemed so exiting. I wish I got to enjoy the old game for a longer time. I started playing in 2016 I think, I have such a bad memory though so idrk tbh. But it was around that time. Sigh, such a waste. Hopefully they will start to listen, even though I am PRETTY sure they won't.
why am i tearing up, i miss this so much 🥲 the excitement of coming home to play this and the sso music in the background always made me so happy. good memories. now sso is just… boring 😭😭
Love it! I can really feel the old vibe again! Only not at the end of summertime and on because of the songs, sorry I don''t want to be nitpicking, but the newer songs just don't carry the old vibe, sounds seems to carry a lot of the nostalgic feeling. Aww I had the same starter horse as the one at 9:30 , BlueAngel 💙 The starters actually looked better back then (second version), much more spirited eyes and that little hop they did made them look so lively. The gen 3 starter has such lazy eyes and the gaits look really lazy too.
I tried to use as much old music as I could find that was high quality and i felt like that song kind of fit the vibe of cape west and the other places when autumn begins or when the kallters existed lol
@@MiaTheGamer ah I get it, yeah If we knew sso would change all soundtracks in the game we probably all would have recorded old ones just to have it and listen to it again. Sigh old sso is never coming back, the overall feel really has changed a lot, more flat somehow. The bloom effect back then really helped the look.
Remember when the doors opened when you logged in to play?? The door opened to another world. That door opening drew me in further and brought me to a place I could live amazing, fantastical dreams. Now I just click “Play”.
Very interesting video! Although I didn’t join SSO when it started, I joined in 2018. I remember being fascinated with the game’s graphics, especially how bright orange Goldenhills was. What stood out to me was the soundtracks that would play upon entering an area, especially Silverglade. The music was simply harmonious and blended effortlessly with the tranquil vibe of the game. Another thing I looked forward to was Wednesday updates. Something about those updates always kept me on my toes at the time. I would wake up a bit earlier than usual Wednesday mornings to read the news on their website. Now, I find myself visiting Dino Valley as it’s one of the last surviving areas that come close to reminding me of simpler times. Ultimately Star Stable is a company that aims to keep in loop with the times, and with many of its original players outgrowing the game it makes sense that they had to make changes to the game. Great video :)
Many players "outgrew the game" due to the changes :/ all of my friends left the second the new CEO came in and directed the game development team to do different things
Aahh I'm so glad I came across this video! Star stable used to be like an safe space to me when I was younger. I didn't really had any friends in real life back then, but this game gave me the best friend group I could have ever imagined. Now I've grown older, I'm starting uni soon, and even have friends in real life now lmao, but I'll never forget the memories I made in sso during 2013-2016
It’s unfortunate that now players can never experience the nostalgia or happiness ever again, I never wanted sso to change it only to make more enjoyable instead of boring. Most of the players are gone now from these updates.

god... star stable used to feel alive. the silly bloom effect combined with the neon green grass really made it pop and feel unique and different from other games. the gen 1 horses weren’t perfect, but we loved them. there was always something to do. they didn’t have advanced mechanics, nor perfect graphics, but you could feel the love. i actually briefly used to post on this youtube channel back in 2015 and i remember posting a silly video about how game masters never visit our server and a few days later i met a game master on the server... or when i asked star stable when’s the life time star rider sale with 4000 sc is coming because my birthday was that weekend, and that exact weekend we got that sale. my 11/12 year old self frantically sending them stupid ideas and they responded to each and every one with genuine responses. there’s something special about joining a game when it’s still small, it truly feels like you’re a part of a big family and with such an amazing and loving team and community, it really was a family. watching it fall like this is breaking my heart, truly. i wish that at some point, in 2015/16 they just let the game be and started a new, upgraded project, because they’re taking away everything that reminds us of the og sso and you can’t relive these beautiful times whatsoever.
omg when i was like 11 i sent them my idea of having a beach, and LO AND BEHOLD WE GOT FP BEACH! they always used to answer to even the weirdest ideas and you could chat with game masters, i really miss it
@@m4tta right?? it’s the charm of small games. and i’m not upset that they grew - the game was still amazing in 2016/17 even 2018. the decisions and directions they’ve been taking in the past few years are questionable.
And everyone would always ride there starter horse buy now nobody does..
personally star stable has become way too adjusted to young kids.
We never ever complained either, no matter how frog like a horse was. Now all we do, and im guilty of it to, complain
When the old Silverglade soundtrack starts playing... I feel like crying every time
i used all the old music for this video to make it feel as nostalgic as possible. i really dont like the new sounds lol rip.
@@MiaTheGamer I don't like the new sounds, too haha
They dont have the soundtrack anymore??!!! Wow, i havent played in a great while and i assumed they used this music still
Same! Every time I hear the old Silverglade and the iconic Moorland one I get set back to my first time playing starstable, I even remember the smell of the room I was in when I first logged in, because I was just so blown away

I miss this game... but deep down I think it's my childhood I miss instead.
I started playing sso when I was 4 I'm turning 16 next year...
Same
same :( i tarted playing at the end of 2014/beginning (winter) of 2015 and as my parents didn’t let me get lifetime, i was a free playe until like 2018 (probably) and even before that it still was SO MUCH FUN!! but in like 2020 i started playing less and less to the point that now i basically never log in anymore, just a few times a year and even then it’s only to buy horse… and then i just log out :(( so many amazing things happened to me bc of sso and i’m just really sad to let it all go :(
I played for two or three years before i got star rider. I trained my horse everyday, caring for her, until I couldnt anymore and she was max. I remember as a starter, without the ability to jump or racing stats, I won a champ better then I can now. 💗
i got lifetime around 2013 and i begged my mom to stay up extra late to explore silverglade, i was so insanely happy
even without star rider, you could get entertained in the old game. i never got star rider, nethier the 1 or 3 months offer, and i played the game for 6 years... i have no idea how this masterpiece turned into a money-grabbing shit. it's just so fucked up.

This makes me realise why I started playing this game. But now it makes me realise what I'm missing today. The excited feelings I had when I saw new horses and updates. Now everything is changing, that's the feeling that I don't want. But sadly it is.
this is the reason why i quit playing. there was so much excitement and it was so alive. there was also always things to do.. it brought me closer to more people than any recent days on sso. i remember being so happy when epona came out, i remember writing down every horse i wanted.. now that things have changed, it hurts to play. i want to go back, but we will never be able to
I which we could turn back time… to the good old days….
Omg yes! Everything wasn’t told to us.. we excitedly checked
I honestly miss old sso , there was so much more to do. They’ve just taken away the things that made the game fun and challenging . Also am I the only one that thinks the old graphics look more realistic? Lol

Thanks for the video so much!!! Every piece of old sso is golden for me. I had a hundreds of screenshots in 2013-2015 but then my computer broke down and I lost all of them(((
i lost all of my old screenshots too! rip i want the old game back too
I am happy bcs i had my Old Sstarble ss... Ah memories!
Or maybe they could make an “old graphics button”. I asked them so many times for it but they keep on ignoring.

i'm not mad because the game is changing. i'm not mad because there's less effort into the game. i'm not mad that the game isn't the way it used to be. i'm not mad that the amount of bugs is starting to make it damn near impossible for me to enjoy the game because i notice each and every one.
i'm mad that they don't _LISTEN_ to us anymore. i'm mad that they don't _CARE_ about the game anymore. i'm mad that they pump out horses every single fucking week and never add new quests or fix their damn game. it used to feel like such a tight-knit family and game masters would play alongside us. they used to love us as much as we loved their game. now its just money money money.
being a player from when we still needed to log in using the _WEBSITE_ and they had the old logo with crusty ass old wifi connections, being a player who had an A4 writing book _LITTERED_ with drawings and diagrams about what i knew about our character and the story and the map and the theories i made, being a player who learned every single short-cut to every single area because i wanted to be the best player, being a player who logged on every SINGLE DAY after school, after homework and during weekends...
i'm disappointed. i'm devastated. i'm heartbroken.
_LISTEN TO US_ for fuck's sake SSO. _PLEASE._ we can still save this game and make it something to be remembered fondly. we can still make this a game that _'went through a rough patch but thank god that didn't last long'_ if you would only just *_LISTEN TO US_* when we ask you to fix your game because we've been here just as long as you have and we still want this game to thrive, it isn't just _YOUR_ game anymore.
you're setting a horrible example for new players, sso team. they log in and they will be the first to notice bugs and quickly get annoyed, they won't take it as easy as we do. they don't have the years of nostalgia and hours spent on this game that ease their patience because _'oh i'm sure they will fix it soon.'_
they will start writing reports and emails and negative reviews and you know what? i fucking _HOPE_ they do. the new players are the only ones who can save this game at this point because ya'll have the power to rip the carpet out from under their feet and give them a bitch-slap wake-up call.
sorry for the rant, but this game was my everything as a little girl. when i had problems in real life, i turned to this game for comfort. it got me through many a dark night and dreary day. it's AWFUL to see this game fall to cash-grabbing. it's like watching a beloved friend or family member deteriorate in health before your very eyes.
i hope you are safe dear reader. take comfort, whoever you are and no matter when you joined our community, in the fact that here, we all want the same thing. you are just as valid as an older player, new comers. take care and look after yourself.

:D Or that giant Shire horse in Fort Pinta during April fools (I absolutely adored our colourful starter horses)
Old SSO had some charm in it, everyone loved the gen 1 horse models (especially the old friesian horses were really loved and I remember that anyone who had one of them was super popular)
I hope I’m not the only one who thinks the same :D
Anyways, thank you for this, this brings back so many memories.💗
THE CAT HAD A NAME? I just called him the cat! I miss him more then anything, yeah..
i feel like crying i miss this so much 😭😭
I didn’t realize how much I missed the music… the nostalgia in that alone is insane
Maybe only to buy and train a new horse
i agree with this so much. This is weird but the old characters we better in some ways
truly i miss the old sso so much.back in days i felt like there was something magical while playing this game, today there's nothing exiting anymore if i'm honest.this game gave me something everytime while playing it,idk what it was but it's sadly gone.
@@Ebakyza ikr it's insane how fast the horses come out. I wish they put all that time into making the storyline guests...
It feels different.
the game for sure changed rip
i honestly miss this, i personally find it better then the new versions of the game.. wish there was a way to select if you want to play the old or new version
ur so right omg and those old fjords… I remember literally crying when they removed them
@@nne077 bro i literally remember searching hidden valley for the place i had once seen locked off just to find it wasn't there anymore because they removed the fjords months prior... I had lost track of the game because I was busy, and didn't realize that during that time, they would remove one of the still remaining aspects of the game that was truly mysterious to me.
Seeing this has made me so upset that SSO took out so much. I really miss everything we could do, especially everything we could do around the different holidays.
the things i'd do to be able to relive this, man i miss old sso
same rip
Currently sobbing, i want my childhood back 😭🤚🏼
Sweet memories. The thud of the hooves, the chunky horses, and the old areas. I remember all of this when I started playing in 2013. I miss it, but the graphics and everything really have come a long way. Sure some things were changed, but I'm always open to it and have the happy memories of the old SSO in my heart.
Glad you enjoyed it
9:19 this music hits in a different kind of way with nostalgia
That hurts so much
Just incase I ever see them, do you know their user and what server region their on?
@@GreyGhostBreyers thank you for trying, tho i am quite sure you can’t really help as im on hungarian server region :// still i really appreciate it
I started playing in 2012 when I was super young and I absolutely loved the game.
This game used to be so beautiful...
Yeah. I actually feel so disrespected when new people call the old sso ugly because hell to the no its not. They just don’t understand because they weren’t there.
@@GreyGhostBreyers yes it is.
I know change comes at one point, but it’s nice to have old stuff every once in awhile.
wow.. there was a time when the horses and all graphic used to belong together like an actual game.. now it feels like it's in pieces
I remember, everything was always a big deal : buying a horse, new updates, racing, questing, riding around to discover…
Thanks for making this video, I really loved it even though I feel sad seeing all we’ve lost.
I’ve been playing since I was 6 years old. Sso was a HUGE chunk of my childhood and its so far gone. New players would not understand
this game genuinely holds such a special little place in my heart!! i appreciate it so much not only for the memories i made on it, but the community and the team behind it. i was around like 9/12 when i was in my peak sso era and i remember sending the support team little emails and i was always met with such a sweet and well-thought out response :( the appreciation the team has for the players is so sweet and something so rare w games!! im 15 now and ive recently been getting back into sso again and i forgot how much ive missed it
I miss the old star stable.
I love how SSO looks now, but there’s something sweetly nostalgic about the over saturation and ugly as sin horses lol. Good times

I miss the old sso so much😢
Until I cry seeing the old sso graphics, I would like it to come back I started playing at my friend's urging in 2016 to 2022 but that's not the same I'm an old player and I don't feel what I used to. This game of loading into a game was once more fun than it is now.I miss fort pint parties, old character graphics, I miss everything with old graphics, it would be nice if they did so that we could switch to the old version of the game, but unfortunately it will never happen ...
The moment this video started playing I felt something I haven’t felt in years. This truly makes me feel at home again. It hurts.
Same ;(
the only reason i play sso with the music sometimes is to still get the little nostalgia back...
lol same
I literally cried watching this. I miss old star stable so much…
ahhh back when the game actually felt alive. With countless activities to do around Jorvik. The music and graphics were great.
If there's one thing i miss the most it has got to be the snow all around jorvik and the christmas quests. They made christmas so much more fun
Ive been playing this game for eight years and man. This takes me back
I'm 20 years old.
If only we could go back to the times when the game felt alive😩
the truth is we don't miss the old sso, we miss the childhood, it wouldn't be the same magic to play the old sso nowadays anyway
This- I..
Sso used to feel so alive and so mysterious then. The music, the vibes, the snow.. They have changed everything
Me toooo
Me too!! December 2019 🙊
Same but in late 2018
And this feels nostalgic even tho I wasn't even there-
This was my whole childhood and I will never forget how easy thing were and how much star stable helped me when I felt sad.
SSO now: "Look how they've massacred my boy"
2024 here... i miss it so much it physically hurts
Yepp
Have been playing since 2013 but took a break in 2019 until now. This is so nostalgic and beautiful.
After losing all of my Gen1 horses (I logged back in and they were jjust... gone?) this video warms my heart. I loved star stable. But now its just.... yeah :(
Wait , how ? You can’t lose them when you buy them . That’s weird
Maybe someone really hacked you
@@LiaHummel5218 yeah … oh well, not like I can change it 😂🫡
I first started playing in 2014, although I don’t really remember much since I was really young and I didn’t play for long.
I really hope Star Stable will turn this around, they still can but they have to do it now
i’m an og player. 2012 to present. i won’t ever forgive sso for getting rid of everything that ogs know.
TRUE :(
The music is making me teary eyed, so many memories
I miss old sso so much :( i remember when my dream in this game was to have the shire , the icelandic or the fjord, when i was so excited to see the magical horse
Even if old horses were crispy, ugly, they felt alive. They weren't perfect and that made them special to me. Now horses are like barbie doll horses. Perfect, shiny, beautiful. I have no problem with them, but if I had a choice, I would return to old star stable
I play since 2013... I miss:
-the old starter horses, the first ones, all the old horses
-when we logged on by opening the doors, on the website, and also the cat talking to us
-the fact that ponies were slower than horses
-the old graphics, especially Goldenhills that actually doesn't look like Goldenhills anymore
-the old people
-the old SSO UA-camrs
-the fact that non star rider players could not jump
-and so much more...
Sad
They can’t even make us a server or two on each region with the old graphics? I mean, c’mon..
This made me cry so much, I really miss this🥹
thank you so much for making this video. i used to love sso back in the days and adored the game with all my heart. seeing it change it so drastically the past few years has really been heartbreaking and the game doesn’t feel the same. it’s become a game about money. they don’t listen to the old players or listen to suggestions the way that they did, and they don’t care for any of the old breeds, places, traditions or graphics. i’m not against change, but they’ve done too much and changed my childhood game so much. this video actually made me tear up a bit, because i don’t have much footage from the old sso, simply because i wasn’t very old and didn’t think of this. beautiful. ❤️
im glad you enjoyed the video! this video also makes me like so sad for the old times. i wish we could bring back old sso rip.
I 100% know that won't happen, but I can dream lmao
The game perhaps wasn't perfect, people even used to dislike the graphics and horses. Perhaps they were derpy, but they used to be ours. We don't value what we have until we lose it, I suppose...
I started playing 2013 on my cousin's computer evertime we were at they're house, 2014 I got my own computer and started playing on it, I've been through almost all updates, and this video brings back good memories❤
I still play star stable but my friends quit 4 years ago 🥲
Watching this makes me feel old i grew up with this game
tysm! thats one of the goals of the video
I remember as a non star rider kid I would always wait months for the horse market to go to Fort Pinta so I could see it
How much I miss the vibe it used to have. This brings some really nostalgic happy memories back 😢❤
Ahhhh, the good old days of Starstable, I miss it… spending time with friends playing rps all the time when I was young! Riding my beautiful old models. 💕🖤 Stay safe everyone!
I literally have tears in my eyes... It may be just a silly horse game but still this is a place where I spend my entire childhood 💔
15:23 This music is still in the game during the Winter. If you do a Yule Goat hunt you get this music
The old songs and everything… I’m crying. 😢 I miss it soooo much!!! Was so much soul in that game..
The old music gave goosebumps, i miss it so much!
I have my stables at moorland just to hear the music there. Loved it since i was little.
Sso was so different in a way I miss. Somthing with the community, Areas and horses. It felt balanced
Gosh, this brings back so many beautiful memories....
I'm almost crying actually :')
I feel like SSO didn’t have to change the maps design. It was a lot more satisfying and less harsh on the eyes lol
Now I've grown older, I'm starting uni soon, and even have friends in real life now lmao, but I'll never forget the memories I made in sso during 2013-2016
im glad you loved the video!
It’s unfortunate that now players can never experience the nostalgia or happiness ever again, I never wanted sso to change it only to make more enjoyable instead of boring. Most of the players are gone now from these updates.
