are there any battery packs for vehicles that are designed to prevent or reduce fire events? its the issue that seems to be the one most talk about as a reason NOT to get an electric. because when a car catches fire that is electric, it can take allot more to put it out in both time and resources..electric battery fires(feel free to look them up). so i'm curious on what measures that "ANY" manufacturer of these battery packs is taking to reduce or prevent these sorts of events. ty.
most boats just use standard 12 or 24 volt car battery size and a large number of them instead of a single large battery. This reduces the heat build-up in the batteries by having more cooling surface. The battery fires in electric cars / trucks are the massive single battery not having the surface area to radiate excess heat and keep cool. The construction equipment that is electric that I have seen has followed the pattern of boats, many smaller batteries with air flow around and cooling systems installed to reduce fire risk.
why are all solar panels on boats aimed skyward? i mean water reflects sunlight relatively well. can't say i've seen any of them use reflectors or such to capture that reflected energy... idk why i think of like using a reinforced mylar screen/angled sail on a sailboat design with the solar panels on catamaran /outrigger hulls of the design. eh its what popped into my head so i shared. peace.
Excellent video, thanks for sharing

I agree
