I feel like he is just going to be another Richarlison for us.
He is stronger than Richarlison, which is a good thing, we need someone to hold up the ball a lot better than anyone we have, so that is one strong point. But apart from that, not so sure. He is good in the air, but none of our wingers can get decent crosses in. The high press that Ange wants isnt really this type of strikers game. (It wasnt Kanes either, but you sort of let it slide with someone of his abilties. And he might even be struggling in this system if he was still here.)
Im just not feeling Solanke at all.
Because at that time Solanke wasn't even in the conversation. It seemed like it was going to be Toney, I've always thought Solanke would be a good signing, but naturally when those links come about you dig deeper. Many Spurs fans wouldn't have even been saying his name a week ago, now they are. It's what happens. He is a very good
@BenBowman_ I would have to disagree unfortunately.
I don't think his stats are much better than Richarlison, in fact in some ways he is worse.
Who knows, maybe he will just work for us, but to me that is just faith.
If Spurs back line stays healthy, sign Neto & Solanke I dont see a reason why Europa cant be won
You said it mate
If you look at the stats. We conceded the same ratio of goals per game with a fit back 4. We’ll get minted again next season. It’s happened pre season. No defensive midfielder is asking for trouble. Did you not see that last season??
@@rontully9031 best defense is a good offense. Our goal output and ball retention is way more important in my opinion. Easier to play good defense when your offense is giving you a break.
@@bradleysnow5342You obviously didn’t read my thread. Wasn’t that what we were doing last season. We conceded 61 goals. Your response is absolute nonsense because we don’t keep the ball, we give it away far too easily. The signings we have made aren’t going to change that. Plus we need a defensive midfielder.
@@rontully9031 dude what lmfao. I literally just said above that ball retention is a priority. That’s why we need to focus on that part of the pitch over anything else
I hate this when you said which striker should spurs sign you didnt say solanke onetime now you are saying he is the number one. Just say he is not good as a players on the market llke gyokereyes or toney
Because at that time Solanke wasn't even in the conversation. All these BS stats! The only relevant stat is that Daniel Levy has the worst trophy per season percentage stats of any THFC chairman since World War Two!
We’re the world’s sixth richest club…
And? He's £65M!
@@BenBowman_ Would the signature of Solanke close the gap to City and Arsenal? Surely Ange has aspirations of winning the premier League…
@@bedknobsandbroomsticks7670 I’m with you. He ain’t the answer. Also, if he was our main target. Why on earth have we waited til the 2nd week in August to go in for him. I’ll tell you why, he’s not our first choice. $65M for yet another average player is laughable. I’ve just read Danny Olmo going to Barca for $55. The mind boggles. We’re paying well over the odds
Do you even know the basics of finances 😂
Not even talking about the state of squad registration
A perfect fit ...you say . That's why Spurs haven't signed him in the first week of the Transfer window opening.
Pathetic Click Baiting
Bore off mate, I don't control the transfers do I? I'm just making a video on why I think he'd be a very good fit for us.
Solanke!!!
Lets goooo
Have you heard of ALVAREZ ?
You mean the striker that's going to Atleti? Yeah I have mate
Another bang average player we're spending crazy money on. It's all because of wages, if we paid wages more akin to the size of club we are, we would be in a much better position and actually attracting proven quality. It's a shame fans can't see how levy is full of cr*p.
So who would you want then?
@@BenBowman_ there are plenty of strikers out there we wouldn't struggle to attract. Toney and Alvarez spring to mind, we would not struggle to attract these players. The only reason we're not signing them is because: A. Wages B. Player Age C. Fee construct (i.e. spread over as many years as possible) D. Current contract end date. We're wasting money, as usual. The trend continues, buying cheap young unproven players that other clubs do not want, despite changing the backroom staff in coaching and recruiting for about a zillion times now. We're signing another player at the level of richarlison, you can dress him up to look amazing, but time will show he's bang average
NO, HE IS NOT not for that sort of money and he's only done it for one season NO THANKS
I mean I explained in the video why the one season tag isn't fair but
Not for 65 Mil Maybe 35 to 40 mil MAX
That just never happens in this market
Spurs need to start winning trophies again not look for the top four
I mean obviously
If he is then why wait months for thid dud ?😅😅😅
Because of his price.
He's good but not worth over 60m
40m plus a player should do it.
Great logic that
@@BenBowman_I thought Spurs had who they wanted earmarked, buy early etc. Solanke ???😅😅😅
Do me a favour 65 mil ??????
Not a crazy price when you consider the market
@@BenBowman_ toneys a better option even if a lays a bet against us 😂🤣😂
buy him, sell Richardson,keep lanksheer
Very interesting that they see Lankshear as ready for the bench
oh god, younger fans seem to have Stockholm syndrome
Explain?
Osimhen or Lautaro Matrinez
Martinez...
Not a chance
If we were linked to Maupay you'd be here telling us why he is PERFECT for Tottenham.
No.
Probably wouldn't tbf mate
Hes had one good season he couldn't buy a goal at Liverpool definitely not worth 65 million kane done it year in year out not one good year
Couldn't buy a goal at Liverpool when he was... 19/20?
We really need Solanke to be honest
Feel like this one gets done... hopefully!
too expensive. I would rather sign David and Neto/Chiesa for 65 mil.
Chiesa man let it gooo
@BenBowman_ Solanke had only 1 good season in the PL. He scored only 6 goals in 22-23 season. Spending 65 mil for a 26 y.o. CF with 1 good season is not a good idea. Jonathan David scored 26 goals in Ligue 1 in the last two seasons. He is only 25 mil.
@@bbokdoong I’m not even gonna debate that considering I explained in the video why the whole ‘one good season’ debate isn’t fair
He's shite FFS he's worse than Werner
Have a day off 😂
He's definitely not worth 65M
Mate the striker market is always inflated and he's English
