The Part where you can tell if it's a stroke or a palsy is genius , I just started my Neurology Cycle and I was scared to see the syllabus , you made the corticobulbar tract so simple , thank you!
Waaaah the way I screamed when you correlated stroke signs to the nerve damage! It made sense now! It was a boring read in the textbooks but you, sir, explained it so well. I can't believe I'm paying hundreds in med school and they can't explain as well as you do. Kudos to this channel
I always think what if u were not there....u are truly a blessing to this whole universe.....thank u for educating people so much....i wish i could meet u someday....u are a real gem!!!!
Just to give u a source of motivation, my doctors had teach me over 10hours of lectures and all their explanation was not understandable, but with u, U explained the same topics in under then 3hours and I understood it quickly. I will join and be a member of ur wonderful channel even though all my collage lectures are all explained for free, so thanks Ninja master, and hopefully I reach my goals in collage and be a good Doctor.
While many doctors explain for money, we find that you explain better than them and for free... I can't say other than that I will always remember you in my prayers.❤
Literally the best!I have suffered to understand this stuff from many years but you just made me understand it in 30 min.Thank you so much and you are doing a great job by providing free and quality education.
Hey dude, I'm on year 3 of my M.A. in Speech Pathology. Love your videos because you go into more detail than my program at Cal State Northridge. Thank you
I always afraid from neuroanatomy... You made it possible for me... How to approach it... Your series of lectures are amazing the way you summerise it.... Thank you so much sir... A lot of respect for you sir...keep shining sir
Just want to say thank you so much for all those neurology videos. Those are what I need. I am first year PT student, will have neuro rehab, neuroscience and motor learning in the spring semester. P.S. Donated to your GoFundme.
Ik you get this a lot, but you’re honestly a superhero. You’re honestly way better than google. Thank you for being a blessing and for all that you do.
Zach the concept of lesion of hypoglossal nerve u have discussed in this video is contaray to ur discussion on hypoglossal nerve lesion in Cranial nerve 12 video.....and also it's contaray from what is written in snell.
My summary note regarding the cranial nerves involved in C.B.T; Each CN nuclei receives a bicortical supply, except for the lower nuclei of the 7th and 12th as they receive only from the contralateral cortex. That is why you need to have a bicortical lesion to have the UMN palsies of these cranial nerves, a unilateral cortex/UMN lesion will affect the lower nuclei only and subsequently cause weakness of their corresponding muscles.
Sir, i am big fan of you ...your way of teaching is awesome ... And I humble request you please add urdu language subtitles in your all videos as well... 30 billion of people can understand urdu... If you have urdu subtitles aded you will get millions of views... Thanks..🇵🇰
sometimes I feel my uni is basing the course content on these video's haha. Exactly the type of detail needed and also this vid is postes a week before my neuro course started haha
i have a question if anyone's willing to answer, I will be grateful. Like Zach said, in a patient with stroke where unilateral fibres of CNXII are destroyed contralateral deviation of tongue will be seen. But isnt a stroke likely to compromise the entire bloood supply to caudal medulla as seen in ASA occlusion and therefore likely to result in ipsilateral deviation of tongue. Then, under what circumstances will we find tongue deviated contralaterally in relation to lesion/ what underlying etiology does such a presentation indicate? and how do we differentiate it from ASA occlusion based on presentation?
I cried understanding the whole series of Neurology. You have no idea how much your work mean to us. Thank you and your team
