- Here is a timelapse video that I did of David Choe painting his mural at the 2009 Nuart Festival.
Nuart is an annual international street art festival based in Stavanger on the West Coast of Norway. From the first week of September an international team of street artists start to leave their mark on the city's walls and contribute to a one month long Nuart static show.
SWOON, DAVID CHOE, BEN WOLF, GRAFFITI RESEARCH LAB, BRAD DOWNEY, JUDITH SUPINE, LEON REID IV aka DARIUS JONES, CHRIS STAIN, LOGAN HICKS, SKEWVILLE, EVAN ROTH (GRL), JAMES POWDERLY(GRL)
We have an incredible line up of New York's finest flying into our little hamlet this year. Nuart 2009 is dedicated to those artists either living, working or who have made an outstanding contribution to Brooklyn and New York's Street Art scene over the past years. We're absolutely honoured to be in a position to host this event. In 1825 the first official Norwegian immigrants left these shores to settle in Brooklyn, at one point, over 200 000 Norwegians could be found living in the borough where, over the years, they left their mark.

the song I love and makes me sad at the same time. I think I have played this hundreds of times now just to listen to the song, I know corny but whatever the reason I can't help it
me to, he really knows how to use the space he has been given, a true master of the art
If I could only get ahold of this dude to paint my house...he'd have a free place in Tuscaloosa AL to chill and do art. badass work
I’ll do it lol
there's no good and bad art...there's just art
PissChrist is BAD "Art". It exists.
If theres gonna be good art than bad has to exist too, duh.
I love the format of time laps to show all the randomness of the creative process. I use a lot of time laps in my work in fact I've time laps so much I'm now a time traveler! It's also nice to see how David Choe bounces off other artist in this piece.
While on the train in Philly, I was so amazed by all the great graffiti art..Some of it is realllly good..
chilled and happy
Nice collaboration
Very, Very, nice.
Choe is awesome. Great video!
Of course some art deserves more merit than others but art is still art and its also all in the eyes of the beholder. Im sure a mother of their child's first scribble or stick figure drawing of their family will like that a hell of a lot more than the Mona Lisa. Also even though i respect it, I feel like the Mona Lisa is just as much history as it is a painting
Nice one Logan ! cheers for a great week !
nice work
Thumbs up America!
@Tang526 the song is the main theme from a claymation movie called "Mary and Max". it's a great flick.
Cool gangster bird, bro.
Penguin Cafe Orchestra - Perpetuum Mobile. Thanks for giving me the band name, came to this vid hoping to get the song but I just used the band to go find it. Points for teamwork. Enjoy
Yo anyone can make art this guy has his own style that's dope, just get up n try it out
MUNKO!
what song is this???
what is this song please?!
@Tang526 Perpetuum Mobile by the Penguin Cafe Orchestra
isnt he the dude that painted facebook?
yes
Piano
So a child's scribble has the same artistic merit as the Mona Lisa?
I like choe's stuff. The guy painting the red demons just ruined it

DVDASA....smoke weed
I really feel like I could do better. Wtf, how can people tell good art from bad??
Only Asians..
I'm not impressed with anything he has done.
