The button you have to hold down is just a thermo coupler which keeps the propane valve open when in operation. If for some reason the the flame blows out (high wind), it will close the valve. Same thing on water heaters and RV refrigerators. This looks like a nice set up. I would love to see a follow up video with your opinions after a few years of use.

How has the valve been? They changed it this spring of 2023…because of it not closing fully when in use and creating a mess…Regards
