Yo dude, I was struggling a lot with the useless info here on youtube for uploading a project to a new repo. Your video actually helped and explained the crucial things that I was looking for. Thanks, man.
I feel like this video along with many others are missing a fundamental factor. Which is most react apps use some sort of API. Its very common its a node based API. A more complete/comprehensive tutorial would be to demonstrate how to deploy BOTH the API and the APP and how to make them connect to work together.
I was searching solutions for problems of deployment everywhere I found nothing and then found this videos it explained me everything all problems get solved.... Thank you so much.... New subscriber 👌🔥
I love how he goes through the version control commands intead of just using the vscode extension to do it quicker, crazy how it was only 2 years ago i had no clue how to work with version control
I got to tell you, man! you are very good at what you do, I learn something new every time I watch any of your videos and I know you are going to blow up! keep the fantastic work my dude!
Thank you so much. I was hitting so many snags trying to use github when all I needed was a quick upload to check for responsiveness. This was perfect.
This was very helpful video. I am learning React now. Earlier I had deployed my Vanilla JS project in Netlify but did not know the deploying React project in Netlify will be so simple. Netlify makes it very easy to deploy projects but the only downside is that the loading speed is slightly slow but its fine
I came to look how I can have a SPA build using React with continous data transfer to databases on a server. But found this video, it's great for front end development. Nice video. ♥
When I tried pushing my files. It asked me for username and password. I tried using the GitHub uname and passwd. But it was no success till now. Plz how can I do that?
Quick question: is there a reason you followed the steps to create a new repository when pushing to GitHub? My understanding is that Create-React-App already creates a git repo in your project directory, so you just need to push it to the GitHub repo.
@@danielvillegas7013 How did I say the *exactly* same thing as you? You asked for if you could push, and no, you need to add a remote. I don't see how that is the same.
hello I am switching to a new laptop, my old laptop has many react application built from your awesome tutorials, but when i transfer folders to my new laptop should I have to npx create-react-app for every projects and delete the boilerplate code or is there an easy way, basically I want to sync my vs code settings for react projects.
Hi, thx for all your work and accurate infos ! Dunno why, I don't dare to use Netlify, Git etc..., even for testing, as if I was "stealing" space and ressources ... Maybe I'm too old. Once again, thanks from France for your great job!
Hello friend, I congratulate you for this excellent video, professionally explained, clear, direct and smooth, I followed it as you indicated and everything worked perfectly. I will be attentive to new publications. Greetings and success !!
Even after 3 years, this video is a gold. I really appreciate this video as it straightaway cut the BS and went straight to the point. Thanks again..

Yes!!
OK. So, can you still use Netlify?
I absolutely second that as I had expected that everyone who'd speak of deploying React apps would cover that.
Anyone find any resources for how to do that?
@@SuperDefender14 I use course on udemy "react for the rest of us"

No, CRA only init's git. No remote is added, therefore there is no upstream to push to; which means you need to add an remote upstream
@@chiperror2441 6 months later haha but actually you said exactly the same thing I said.

Just delete the node modules before transferring and then run npm i on the new pc
what program was it that was doing to autocompletion in your terminal?
Is there any extra settings I need to look for when buying hosting?

I have spring boot back end is it supported by netlify?
Also, do u recommend netlify over heroku?
Netlify for frontend project, heroku for backend
Great video, thanks.
What about hosting apps with databases. What's the best approach?
thanks sir , but can we deploty a fullstack MERN app - that contains frontend and backend directories -to netlify ? if yes , how ?
