I love y'all and your tutorials!! And I think Carrie does just fine and she smiles and laughs when she feels like it. One of these days I am going to order supplies from y'all, right now I am just starting to make wreaths but I do have an Etsy shop with the few I've made and the other things I make. Looking forward to more tutorials!!!!
I seen this in the store for well over $100! My daughter and I are going to make this today! I Can't wait. Thank you so much for this idea!!! I am going to put battery operated LED lights (keeps it from getting hot) in mine for extra touch!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!! That and the present!
the two of you do such beautiful work, wish the girl will smile more she is beautiful! and has a beautiful smile. Thanks for sharing your talents will check for more of your tutorials.
Thank you for watching))) Making videos is very nerve racking))) We both have tendency to be very intense when we're working. We do appreciate your taking the time to watch and give feedback)))
He is so ADORABLE! Can't wait to make him. I love your channel and find a lot of great ideas. Thank you so much for your great tutorials. I really enjoy them. You both are so cute!! ♥
love this little guy! can't wait to try making him tonight! I made my first deco mesh candy cane wreath last night and it turned out wonderfully! also can wait to shop the website! love you guys and Christmas so much!
+Shannon Fulk Thanks for watching, we have a newer snowman tutorial that we did just a week or so ago. Here's that link: www.trendytree.com/blog/2015-diy-deco-poly-mesh-snowman-wreath/
+Cheryl McCuistion Thank you for watching, we appreciate it! This is 2014 tutorial and we have a newer one, here's that link: www.trendytree.com/blog/2015-diy-deco-poly-mesh-snowman-wreath/
I made it!! and it came out amazing!!! Thank you! I even made the hat out of a coffee can and a piece of a cereal box ~! lol Just painted it black and added some red felt around the rim.. but Im sure it could be done with material and made into any design! Thought this would be a good tutorial :) thanks again!
+Robin Bennett Thank you for watching)) Oh my goodness....that's quite a collection! This video tutorial is one that we did in 2014. We have a newer one we did a few weeks ago. Here's the link to it: www.trendytree.com/blog/2015-diy-deco-poly-mesh-snowman-wreath/
LOVE IT WILL TRY TO DO IT FOR MY DOOR FOR THE HOLIDAYS....VERY MERRY SINCE OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY WILL BE AT MY HOME MY DAUGHTERS WOULD LOVE IT!! ITS THEIR BEST HOLIDAY!!!! THANK U WILL POST PICS ONCE ITS DONE!
Thank you for watching! That's one of our older tutorials so I'm attaching a link to the written post: www.trendytree.com/blog/snowman-wreath-tutorial/
I can't tell from the video, so I have two questions: 1.how many chenille stems per section? 2. Are you placing the bundle of three curls lengthwise along the bars of each section, or sort of opposite the length of the bars...like across them?
Thank you for watching)) This tutorial was done several years ago but just add in as many bundles of curls that it takes to fill in the space. It really won't matter which way you place them)) Hope this helps. Most all the products used in the tutorial are no longer available except mesh and wreath forms, but you may be able to find some suitable substitutions for the hats and things.
Here are a couple of links to the wreath forms so you can see them better maybe: www.trendytree.com/products/10-pencil-wreath-turquoise? www.trendytree.com/products/24-pencil-work-wreath-white-non-metallic?
@@trendytree - I appreciate your answers. I'm using plain old round wire frames from Dollar Tree, with white pipe cleaners in each section that I attached, three to a section.
I have been trying since you came out with this snowman wreath to be able to buy supplies from you and even sent an email letter. Someone was going to let me know when the materials were avsilnle.
+Pam Spencer Thank you for watching Pam. This is a 2014 video and some of those supplies sold out last year and will not be available. But we do have the mesh (10" snowball mesh) in stock. But we did another snowman tutorial this year and the items for that are in the kit. Here's a link to the kit: www.trendytree.com/deco-mesh-snowman-wreath-kit.html There is a tutorial, written and video for the snowman kit.
Thank you for watching. This is an older tutorial of ours, but here is a link to the written tutorial. The wreaths we use already have a fixed number of twists, so we added in extra curls for more fullness. Here's the link: www.trendytree.com/blog/snowman-wreath-tutorial/
Thank you for watching. All mesh ravels and there isn't much to be done about it. Make as few cuts as possible, so we don't recommend splitting a 21" roll to get 10" x 10" pieces. And handle as little as possible. We have been experimenting with spraying the edges with a spray adhesive. You might want to test this on a scrap and see what you think. It all works different according to climate, material ect We used Elmer's Craft Bond Spray Adhesive and had the best result with that.
+65jungle I would recommend using the Work Wreaths that we sell on Trendy Tree. They already have the twists attached. Here's the link: We used a 10" for the head and a 24" for the body: www.trendytree.com/work-wreaths-and-garlands/ The best I can tell you is that the 10" Pencil Wreath we used measures 10" in width at the widest part and contains about 12 twists. Our 24" Pencil Wreath measures 15" across at it's widest ring and contains about 18 twists. Chenille stems will slip and slide around, but you might be able to make it work.
+Brenda Jordan Thank you for watching. Here's a link to the written tutorial we did in 2014: www.trendytree.com/blog/snowman-wreath-tutorial/ I'm also giving you a link to the newest snowman tutorial we did a couple of weeks ago: www.trendytree.com/blog/2015-diy-deco-poly-mesh-snowman-wreath/
Michelle Marler Thank you for watching. The bottom wreath is our 24" wreath (the metal ring actually measures 15" in diameter but with product added, it results in a 24" wreath or larger. The top wreath is a 10" wreath which does measure 10" across and yields around a 19-20" finished wreath. You could try something like a 12" or 14" wreath form if you wanted to make the head larger, using the same technique. The Work Wreaths don't come in this size, but we do have some plain box wire wreaths on the website that you can add chenille stems to and create the same effect. We're out of the 12" right now, but do have a 14" in stock: www.trendytree.com/work-wreaths-and-garlands/14-black-box-wire-wreath-form-package-of-10.html
+Sara Morgan Thank you for watching. All mesh ravels, but when you are cutting the 10" to make your ruffles, make sure you are gathering up through the center and have your uncut edges to the outside. Handling it as little as possible helps too, but nothing stops it.
+Jeffrey Daniels It was about 10" in ht. That tutorial was done last year and we're sold out of that hat now, but we have listed some alternatives on the tutorial. Here's that link: www.trendytree.com/blog/snowman-wreath-tutorial/
+Robert Bolt Thank you for watching. We're out of the 10" snowball mesh right now, but here's a link to show you how to use 21" for the ruffle technique www.trendytree.com/blog/how-to-use-21-poly-mesh-in-a-ruffle-wreath-technique/. Just do a search on "top hat" on www.trendytree.com for the hats.
+65jungle Thank you for watching. Here's a link to the written tutorial. This was done last year, so some of the products we used are no longer available. Thank you for watching Shelley, but it wasn't a tutorial on making the hat. The hat is a purchased product that we sell on our website, or did at the time. We usually keep some snowman hats stocked if you don't find a tutorial to make one.

The 24" Pencil Wreath form as 18 twist ties and the 10" Pencil Wreath Form as 12 ties. The ties come attached to the wreath forms.

Love this, super cute :)
Thank you for watching)))
adorable snowman..
Thank you, and thanks for watching, we appreciate it!
Is there a certain type of mesh that needs to be used? I have deco mesh, and was wondering if it would fray too much?
Thank you for watching. All mesh ravels and there isn't much to be done about it. Make as few cuts as possible, so we don't recommend splitting a 21" roll to get 10" x 10" pieces. I got a wire wreath and I am putting the pipe cleaners on my self... ho many of those shld I use and any certain order?

Great Tutorial
Myra Lou-Hing Thank you for watching!
What did you say you used for his nose?
+PmprShf On this one we used a rolled up piece of orange paper mesh.
When I cut my mesh, it looks like it's going to unravel. Am i doing something wrong?
+Sara Morgan Thank you for watching. All mesh ravels, but when you are cutting the 10" to make your ruffles, make sure you are gathering up through the center and have your uncut edges to the outside. Handling it as little as possible helps too, but nothing stops it.
How fun ❤️ super cute
+Linda Wetzel Thanks Linda!
