The parts with the line "their legend will rise" with the ship rising from the grave is brilliant. And I just love the shot at 2:11 with the battleship "leading the navy into war"
Although the age of battleships have ended and may not come back again... those giants made of steel may live forever in people's memory as a myth or a legend. Awesome video. It was 10 of 10.
It doesn't matter if the 'Carriers' are the most 'powerful' class of military warships, the howling guns of the Dreadnoughts still haunts the high seas
KMS Bismarck, HMS Warspite, IJN Yamato, USS Iowa. What do they have in common? They are all great battleships of their respective navies. Although, some of those navies were under unfortunate regimes. Regardless of the regimes, I think we should all appreciate the fact the battleships were there, once, squaring off gun to gun against one another. Such great vessels. 9 remain: 1 pre-dreadnaught, 1 super-dreadnaught, and 7 fast battleships. The rest either scraped years ago or rotting away at the bottom of the ocean. Hard to believe at one point in time, battleships were in large numbers, and the center pieces of a navy's power projection. Very fortunate that there are the aforementioned battleships remaining as museum ships. Long live the battleship.
dreadnought was never about hms dreadnought, its about the class of ship that is called the "drednought battleships" and what is shown in this videos are indeed dreadnought type battlesships and their successors in ww2, the fast battleships, so i think its appropriate
From an older mobile game. It's called "Clash of Battleships". There he was one of the profile options which I'd then chosen along with the randomized name "Scorpion Arthur". 😉
From what game are the scenes of the sunken battleship that turned on its lights and then emerges from the depths like a ghost from the past ready to give it all again for their homeland? That was so epic!
Unopposed under crimson skies Immortalized over time, the legend will rise... And their foes can't believe their eyes Believe their size, as they fall.. AND THE DREADNOUGHTS DREAD NOTHING AT ALL!! Kinda sad when you realize that the only surviving beast of this kind is the USS Texas, but then in the end, not even humans can withstand the flow of time.
Well technically WWII battleships like the Iowas followed the "all-big gun" concept so fit the definition of dreadnoughts. So there's four more for you. 🤔 What saddens me is that the British didn't save any of the Queen Elizabeths, like Warspite for example. I know it was in rough shape after the war, but it would have been a great choice to be a museum. And like Texas would have been an example of a WWI battleship that also participated in WWII, so Texas wouldn't be alone in that. Shame really 😔 And also as a European, a potential British battleship would be much easier for me to visit than American ones 😅
It's from the Battlefield 1 Trailer and in that game it's a so called "Behemoth" class vehicle which I think can be translated to dreadnought considering it's size and battle-role. 😎✌
I have a plot point in my champaign where the players have to find a power source for a weapon to fight the tarrasque. Its a 100 foot tall mech known as The Dreadnought.
@@scorpionarthur thanks, before that they are going to fight a half mile purple worm and a massive kraken. All three are part of a dead elder God. Awesome video. It was 10 of 10.
Battleship will make a comeback with all the smart weapons you will need pure firepower so if you are hacked you don't have a useless navy
yes

the edit with the first chorus kick in and all the ship open fire is just *chef kiss* perfect!

I don't know why, but this made me burst into tears.
Excellent video. Very meaningful.
Thank you. 🤗
This is what I picture every time I listen to this song.
I hope you enjoyed it. 😉
Been waiting for a gmv like this since Dreadnought was released.
Thank you,
I'm glad I could make it, as I wanted that GMV uploaded for a while already but was busy with real life stuff.
Such a badass song for a badass ship
legit gave me chills
Not to be rude, this was a great video but there were barley any actual dreadnoughts shown
ask Wargaming to give dreadnoughts some focus then
That would be really nice 👍 Love to see more Dreadnoughts in Wows.

all battleships after 1904 (i think or 08) were classified as dreadnoughts. Even USS Missouri was a dreadnought

Thank's mate.
Wishing you all the best and stay safe :)

A suggestion, put a slight sound of the guns firing as they fire
Btw great edit
Thx, I will keep that in mind. 😎👍
U featuring of real dreadnought's is awesome dude, keep it up 👏
Thank you, I'll do my best. 😁👍
I wanna know where I can find the cinematic with the ship rising from the ocean floor, at 1:12 and 2:23
It's from a trailer for the game "Navyfield 2" :)

True, it's a really emotional scene. 👍
Great Job!

Beautifully done! Are these all of the cut scenes?
Great montage! I'm probably not the first to ask, but who is the guy on your profile picture?

I believe it was called Navy Field. The scenes are from a trailer:

what were those live action movie clips from? feel like i recognize them but drawing a blank at the moment

The real dreadnought is sunk
May she rest in peace. o.o7
The real Dreadnought was scrapped in 1921. Her one combat kill being a submarine, she ran over.
