Meet Cora

Cora arrived at FCAC on October 23, 2020 and is now less than a month away from her one year anniversary with us. We would love nothing more than to find this sweet, sassy and independent senior a loving home before she hits day 365. When Cora arrived at our facility she had a bite wound on her foot, a wound of unknown origin, and as a result she needed to be placed on a four month quarantine with one of our foster care providers. Once that period was over, she was returned to our facility where she has been happily ruling over our Kitty Kabana.
Cora is an affectionate older cat six to eight years old, but she has an independent streak. She does everything on her terms and in typical torbie style will let you know when she's done. Cora is quiet and when she's not getting pets or lounging on your lap, she enjoys snacking, sleeping in her bed, scratching on her scratcher and bird watching from the top of her cat tree. Her favorite activity, however, is playing with her toys. Cora loves chasing after the laser pointer, batting around fuzzy balls and hunting her mice. While she does well living with other cats, Cora isn't the type to cuddle with feline friends. FCAC’s longest resident would do well in a cat savvy home with owners who can read her body language and respect her boundaries. Cora would prefer to live with teens and adults over younger children.
