Amazing historic tour of Sunderland town centre which goes unnoticed at ground level walking from place to place. Victorian era investment in Sunderland was huge leaving jewels which todays council need to make the most of now.

Enjoyed this a lot. Despite being born and bred and living in Sunderland for my first 40+ years, Sunniside is an area I hardly frequented (apart from the odd drinking establishment, usually in the dark) but seeing those fantastic old buildings has inspired me to return for a good nose around. Great stuff!

My dad was born in Jarrow but supported Sunderland since he was a little boy, and as such, I have grown up a massive Sunderland fan.
