We finished our road trip over South Africa in Port Elizabeth, officially renamed Gqeberha. We enjoy our remaining moments getting quality time with family, relaxing on the beach, and celebrating with drinks and delicious food! We say a sad goodbye to Tommy's parents and fly out of South Africa on a very long travel day to our next destination Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Aw I miss my hometown. Been living in Europe the last 3 years and been travelling for 5 years before then. Grew up going to Kings beach on the weekends and spent many a great night at the old Brookes Pavillion. I miss home!

Was so cool to see you guys go to the places I always go to in Port Elizabeth since I go to university there! Even seeing the highlights from the rest of your trip was exciting to watch and see the different places I've also been too. Glad you had an amazing adventure in our beautiful country. Port Elizabeth is but a shadow of it's former self. The heart of the city has seen a gradual decline into criminality, dilapidation and general filth and decay. It has accelerated in the last year or so. The Donkin Reserve is covered in weeds, the paving bricks around it are being pulled up for various uses, like leaving in the road or football goalposts and there is rubbish piling up in the shrubs and along the stairs. There are bottles lying everywhere on the slopes. Govan Mbeki/Uitenhage Road is descending into dilapidation and filth week by week. If only people could see what this city used to look like. It has so much potential with the surrounding attractions both east and West and a waterfront that could be developed into something special, IF it could be wrestled away from Transnet. The once picturesque Central and St George's Park are probably beyond repair though with the damage done.

Next time you come to PE, go to Muse Restaurant in stanley street, best food ever. Stanley street is a strip of just restaurants. All kind, fine dining, Mexican food, chinese, bars the works.

For some of us who live here and know the secret beaches, where to easiest spot a lion or observe elephants, enjoy secret sunrises floating around in a secluded rock pool, dine under the stars away from the crowd, know the best dune on which to have a quiet sunset on... We slang this big dorp Gqeberha, formerly known as Port Elizabeth, PE, pronounced PeeeEeee.

I live in Port Elizabeth and the place brooks hill where you stayed at my familie usually stays there during December months and my mother works in a hotel in Summerstrand and my dad works in North end with is right by Summerstrand an my Aunt,uncle,grandfather and my niece lives in Addo.

The plane has been on its side now like a crashed ww2 scene .Beershack you visited is really cool place they atuually have a place called beer yard and a brewing company aswell that are all unique and awesome visit.I will follow your channel for more exciting adventures

We had no issues with any taxis but we did have our own vehicle for the majority of our trip.
