I'm glad he sung the autism part in this one, in other versions of the song he just muffles his speech at that part or at live shows he lets the audience sing it, but It's good to see that will isn't scared of being canceled anymore! (btw i'm autistic)

So! That part is referencing the wife’s perspective in the song. That he cries when she verbally (and maybe physically) abuses the husband in the song-So there’s “obviously”something mentally wrong with him. Any baby would cry/scream when strapped to a ceiling fan, that’s not a uniquely autistic experience. Just like anyone would cry when being abused, regardless of mental wellness. Essentially an abuser saying “No LOOK, you’re the crazy one”
Generally that scream is very hard on the voice, very few people can do stuff like that without hurting their voice. It’s considered very risky to do them when you’re performing several songs in a row, even as an encore because if your voice is tired you can hurt yourself pretty badly or just start coughing and that’s just not ideal at a performance. I happily do screams when I’m singing in my spare time but my voice can’t handle it for a few days after.

nah he was worried about singing it because of the line that goes "squeal like a trolley wheel, cry like a baby with autism strapped to a ceiling fan" since some people interpret it as making fun of autistic people and will himself seems to at least somewhat regret the line, as in the 2020 remaster album that line is almost entirely inaudible from the special effects
