I understand where you are coming from. Legal immigration can be a grueling process. Until you get the green card, you have it 10x harder than those here. Everything from civil rights, to opportunities are closed off. When you make it through that system, you've earned your citizenship. I learned that it wasn't race that mattered but the kind of person I was going to be. Every one has that talk with themselves. I learned it is easier to be bad than it is to be good.
