They did such a good job with the weapons in this game. And definitely more then I thought there would be!
The weapons in Lies of P has to be some of the best weapons installed in a hack-n-slash type game within recent years. I love the outrageous creativity behind it. You have your traditional swords and such, designs that fall within those categories. Then you have a big ass pipe wrench, a militarized shovel, an electric curved saw, a literal jackhammer and of course, a super axe constructed of the bodies of Puppets.

I like the salamander dagger. I put it on the Crystal spear handle.

It’s a shame you can’t keep the black rabbit brotherhoods eldest weapon, I feel like it would’ve been nice to get it.
From my understanding through whispers on the world wide web. The sword of the elder brother was taken from his grave. Apparently some big time company sent a few SOLDIERS out there to collect the sword. Last I heard, it was given to some young hotshot with spiky blonde hair...the sword's gotten a bit of a facelift but remains pretty heavy. They said the kid's got mad skills with it too.

"Two Dragon Sword, "Golden Lie", and "Proof of Humanity" looks pretty awesome !! I will definetely try them when I get this game without doubt. Beautiful. The variety is incredible. This game looks so cool, lad. Hands down.
Those are boss weapons and so far I’ve only found the katana, I won’t spoil it but it’s bs to get

There was also a blue-ish sword that shows up in a loading screen before the main menu but it's nowhere to be found in game, wonder if it's a cut content or a wink for a dlc.

Damn these weapons are all so cool looking wth. Just started playing this game and im in chapter 4 i think. Started a technique build first. Definitely doing a strength build next. Then maybe advanced or balanced
So I know you can stick different blades on different handles. The moveset is always the same on one handle correct? Like you could use a rapier moveset with a club attached.
Yes, the "blade" give the dmg properties like slash, piercing, fire, etc...and the handle give the moveset and the scaling attributes for dmg. Also every blade and every handle have their own active skills, so you can mix every blade with every handle as you want to create your own weapon, except boss weapons, boss weapons cant be change in any way.
Also it depends how big the blade is, a rapier on the same handle will be faster than a big hammer on it.
these weapons have a lot of different attacks, all these people make half moveset showcase of every weapon wtf
I wanna say the salamander dagger is a refrence to berserk since there was a dagger with flaming salamander spirits on it that lit on fire but i could just be reaching

I like it the game really have his own identity by the weapons even if some are BB reference.
This game is making me not missing bloodborne on PC, very good game so far, similar style.
Can you build all these weapons in one playthrough? I heard you can only upgrade 2 to max level. Can that be reset and can I then upgrade another weapon? (I'm new to these kind of games)
In my experience so far you're limited to upgrading two special weapons (boss weapons) to max. I've done little with normal weapons, but from what I've seen you eventually get access to buying materials to upgrade it up to level six. Anything past that is a limited resource. I recommend just finding a weapon that has a move-set you like and stick with that. It helps that upgrades only apply to the blade and not the handle (the part that gives the move-set), so if need be you can just swap the hilt of your upgraded blade with a move-set you like more. Again though, thats just been my experience and my thoughts. I'm sure others might feel differently :)

I know i'm a little bit late, but you can upgrade way more than 2 weapons, at least of the regular ones, to Max level in your playthrough, there's like 6-8 full moonstones,
I would say that only 2 is true, but for the special weapons ( Boss weapons )
Puppet reaper is best ! Fast long range with massive damage.... They made game so easier for me

Apparently it shrinks back down in NG+ and only grows again when you start telling lies

Lootwart is on the second playthrough, so the Golden Lie is back to being bare with no leaves like the one that's slowly growing from Carlo's portrait. If you lie throughout the second playthrough, the current Golden Lie in your inventory will sprout gold leaves again.

Still the best weapons out of any souls/souls-like game in existence, even fromsoft can’t match this creativity.
My main weapon . Bone cutting sawblade with its machine handle that or the black steel cutter blade with its handle

Oh noooo, so stupid, it's not like being able to rip open doors and lift heavy things is exactly why we would build a robot or something. The Lords of the Fallen will be exactly the same because it's trying to be like Elden Ring but with the stranger things Upside Down

Golden Lie is actually great. It's speedy. It also reminds me of some kind of battle staff. Would be fun to use it when I hit the NG+ lol

I wish clock sword blade actually did something with time..
Imagine if the handle consumed 2 fable charges where the first part activates a sort of "recording timer" which records the game for x seconds and the second charge allows you to rewind the game back for those x seconds. Since it's a 2 part fable art, the rewind would be optional so you're not forced into the rewind if you wouldn't want to rewind after all.
That would tie in much better with the game considering time is a vital part of the lore in the game.
You forgot to add an extra 40 ish I don't know how many weapons for the customization combinations
It’s a lot more than 40 options… 11 boss weapons, 29 standard weapons and 29 handles = 29x29+11=852 options, 812 if you exclude was shown in this video.
@@sifren2491 boss weapons can't be disassembled so you have just 841, idk where u got 812 from.
