This little pedal is incredibly powerful, and so powerful that it eats up all the other pedals, a truly remarkable distortion I don't know what to do to emphasize the other pedals maybe I need a buffer
Dave, stars align sometimes....im a lucky boy got hold of a mint "lefty" shecter PT ...the ultimate tele twin humbuckers/splittable to single, xxl frets which take some getting used too....good days do happen
Looking back to older videos, it feels like you've tremendously improved and keep evolving to this day. Always a pleasure to watch your videos lad, cheers!
I had a Danelectro French Toast, which is a copy of the Foxx Tone Machine, like this pedal. I loved it, but got the Movall Octopuzz (the same as this pedal in a pink box) to replace the Danelectro as it fit better on my board. It sounded nothing like the same and I didn't like it. This sounds good though. I actually loved the French Toast with the octave off and the fuzz turned right down. It was like a great overdrive with a hint of fuzziness. Shame I sold the Danelectro.
Pedal sounds lovely. More like a distortion/saturation really than a raw fuzz. You always bring a smile to my face Dave - this world would be a less happy place without you.
lol the main gain control has approximately no effect on sound apart from the first couple of degrees. It's still awesome. I love mine. And the octave fuzz :):) :) the whole pedal is very dependent on amp / guitar mind you.
Hey Dave, just wanted to say love your vids! Keep going with that Orange CR120 series! Also, for Billie Joe Armstrong like tone, would you recommend a Boss DS-1, Boss DS-2, or something else. Please try to make it under $100. Thanks!
Thank you very much and I shall keep that series going. : ) I would go for the DS1 over the DS2 for Billie Joe but i would recommend the tone city golden plexi as well. : )
The channel for everything * I think so ! I put a comment up saying that it was Doom then scrolled down and seen your comments and I'm sure that it's Doom.
Also good to see the white strat back in action. I remember before the Oswald and vintage strat, the white one was your go to!
That intro had a sort of Cliffs of Dover vibe to it at certain points..pretty sweet.
It's not about the pedal it's about the wizard at the helm. Eg Dave The Wizard Simpson.
You son, is magic
Thank you very much. : )
Thanks as always Dave. Saved for my weekend viewing and practising.
Thank you very much. : )

as usual, my go-to place for the perfect pedal review.
Looking back to older videos, it feels like you've tremendously improved and keep evolving to this day. Always a pleasure to watch your videos lad, cheers!
Thank you very much indeed. : )

Sick intro! There were a few licks in there that reminded me a bit of the Chorzow Final Jam which was funny bcuz i was just revisiting that earlier
Thank you for watching. : )
Great playing dave
Great video man & that is you're right that is a cool pedal. Keep it up.
Thank you very much. : )
dave can even play dubstep :O mad lad in the most amazing way
Thank you very much. : )
Oh boy. I own the danelectro french toast which is suposed to be a copy of the same thing. But i dont make it sound this good :))
Noise is good.
That's some fuzzzzzzzzzz!! Tone !!Mw
i love how your videos look like they were recorded back in 2008 xD
Cheers. : )
Seems you're a fuzz fan Dave. Check out the North Effects Muthafuzza pedal if you get the chance, an absolute beast, and works great with humbuckers 🤘
Shall in doodles check it out. Thank you. : )
i enjoyed your work in jethro tull
Thank you very much. Witches Promise was my favourite. Hahahahahaa. : )
One B cab less than usual!
Do rather like the Fuxx fuzz naughty little beast
Top playing as always Dave
Thank you very much. : )
I'm looking for some kind of octa-fuzz that can do Warren Ellis noise and this little beast sounds like it could do that.
awesome intro there dave, REALLY enjoyed that. Just like the rest of the video :) cheers
Thank you very much.:)

I was just making things up on the spot. : )

Maybe Kurt Cobain like tone also.
Assuming you will acquire the pedal - for Billie Joe he himself uses Boss Blues Drive.
Thank you very much and I shall keep that series going. : ) I would go for the DS1 over the DS2 for Billie Joe but i would recommend the tone city golden plexi as well. : )
damn was that jam at 3:35 improvised? love it.
It was indeed. Happy your liked it. : )
Dave what about a video comparison between the fuxx fuzz and the Fuzz Face ?
I'll see what can do. :)
Was that riff the E1M1 riff from the original Doom?
The channel for everything * I think so ! I put a comment up saying that it was Doom then scrolled down and seen your comments and I'm sure that it's Doom.
It is indeed. : )
That's from quake nin did it.
No even older thats the original doom theam song.
But the Quake 2 soundtrack from Nin is a killer metal soundtrack worth checking out.
We are nothing but microscopic creatures that must learn to conform. Nik Turner? Ever heard of H .L. Langton Dave?
Hi dave, you are using 250k or 500k POTS? and .022, .047 or 0.1 cap? Thank you
250 but i have no clue about the cap. : )
Do you know well run dry by phat phunction?
I don't no.
Dave Simpson reeaaaly cool funky song appart from the vocals
Dave, if you was to put a ns2 after that would it kill the noise and hiss
Yeps. :)
Awesome think that’s me getting one
That's a lot of background hissing! 👀
Yeah its a cranked fuzz. They do that. Unless you have a noise gate but wheres the fun in that.
The riff is off the PC game Doom right !
That it be. :)
Lol doom fuzz
Way to much hiss for. Sounds good though.
When I eq my CR120 all to zero it just sounds dark and kinda lifeless.
I'm running P90's. Why is it that your sounds different? Is it the pickups?
I honestly don't know. I'm sorry. Its just whats always worked for me.
Dave Simpson Yes it has!
Why do you set you eq on 0?
Its just where i've always fond the sounds i like. :)
It sounds very good, but to be honest I would be annoyed because it is so noisy. Maybe my fault.
It’s definitely a noisy pedal.
