This is most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Instead of just being proud of the accomplishments that team made they feel the need to embarrass themselves, their families, the university, and the fans. It would be a little different if the NIL rules changed a year or so after them. But it has been over 40 years since. Where does this madness of suing everybody stop? Plus, who is Mike Warren? He did not contribute to that team winning anything. I bet his “name or likeness” never been used. If it has then maybe he could buy a Happy Meal with the amount of money owed him. It is so stupid for them to say Jimmy V would approve of this. They are idiots and I bet Jimmy V would be furious at how greedy they are acting. As a lifelong NC State fan and alumni I hope this blows up in their face and get nothing positive from this lawsuit.
