Listening to Chisa's first note, I initially thought, "She got this. She would slay this song." The first half of the song was amazing, but starting from 10:30 she added heaviness to her sound and the subsequent high notes got compromised, as a result. I understand her stylistic choice, though. She wanted to put more emotion to her delivery for the second half of the song. I consider this a solid performance, especially since this is a freaking difficult song from Whitney Houston the legend. Edit: My bad. This is more of a technical issue rather than a stylistic choice. I just noticed that the background music got much louder for the second half of the song. Was she wearing in-ear monitors? It would be really hard to maintain her pitch if her ears got blasted out by the loud music and she could not hear her voice; in this case, she could only follow through by singing louder/pushing her voice.
With all respect facts being facts.. no freaking way! LSFM has definitely improved but XG vocal line is in a class of their own. Even XG rappers line can hold their own singing. Presently 2 different leagues.
