I felt for him. Being on SNL is down on the totem pole when it comes to fame. I would say between C and D list celebrity. He would have good reason to not think Nicole Kidman, huge actress and ex wife of Tom Cruise, would be into him. Oh well, Jimmy walked, so Colin and Pete could sprint!

Like everyone mentions, Rick is a terrible wingman, the worst of all time. He sets it up on both sides "Nicole would like to meet you", "Jimmy would like to meet you" but never tells Jimmy the reason why.

Ya, Id be alittle miffed with Rick....
There’s absolutely zero lessons here about hosting. All he was doing here was genuinely reacting after being completely pulled into the situation, almost forgetting an audience was even there. He was not pulling out his hosting skills. You showed this vid cause you wanted an excuse to show this vid. If there’s any lessons here they’re 100% from Nicole about how to tell a story. The giddiness was constantly triggered by her when they’d be in the middle of a sentence and she’d start another giggle or make certain gestures or looks with her eyes.

I showed this video bc I love interviews. This one in particular. Keep in mind, when I lived in LA, I interviewed everyone on the red carpet when I worked for Fox News Channel. But when I went off on my own, these types of guests aren't exactly calling me back.
