Yeah Remy so gutted for Alex he’s an absolute shredder would’ve been so sick to see you and him shred crazy Mary That is some trail massive respect and credit to whoever built that
Cheers to Dave and the crew for that wonderful trail in Castlegar, and great to see you riding it. It has a little bit of everything, and that climb...feels like you're descending for half the climb! Another fantastic year of videos- informative, exciting and just a fantastic escape from the grind. Thanks Rémy for sharing your gifts of riding and video editing. God bless, and keep shredding!
Great riding as always, @Remy you should've chased that bear for a one-of-a-kind POV video!!! I always contemplate between carrying a tube and putting a cushcore (both have downsides but can plug these situations). Bummed for Alex the shredder that it happened so early in the ride.
No excuse for being unprepared when aggressive riding. A tube and a tire reinforcement card from Park tools and your riding again. May be slow, but your rolling. No excuse. maxxis DD tires too!
While I was watching the video, in addition to being impressed by the beauty of the Trail and the forest in which it is housed, I wondered (since we also build mountain bike trails here) how many people and time it had taken to build it... are they all volunteers or Is it a trail building company that built it? thank you.. Riccardo from Italy 🍻
Remy I feel like you could try some Alberta riding in and around Calgary. Maybe have a little detour on your BC tour. This would be in Bragg creek area, Moose Mountain, Husky Road or Exhaw/Razors Edge.
Right from the start of the descent, I thought, "That guy is running his lines so recklessly in that terrain; how is he not flatting out?!" FAFO moment.
Is Canadian currency like US paper money? In the US I've used bills to cover large sidewall tears, but you'd need to carry a tube as well 😁 Now I just keep a pack of Park tool sidewall stickers in my bag, they actually work with tubeless.
I appreciate Alex's mechanical sympathy I know some that would have rode that on the rim to the parking lot. Glad you had fun Remy, with a dedicated camera man, thank Alex 👌🤦🤣
Anything powered by OUTSIDE is probably pretty high on the propaganda scale. They stopped producing quality content in their magazine almost a decade ago but it looks like a great trail.
Great video, trail looked pretty cool. I was surprised the top half of that a trail that was ranked so high didn't have more jump/stunts in it. Remy That bike has got quite a bit of noise to it I'm surprised you haven't tried to figure that out. That would drive me insane
Yeah the top part was definitely more flow than features, the bike noise is largely amplified by the silent hub. The new spindrift is completely quiet though.

It's actually very impressive to see how far Remy look while riding. At 8:21 he saw the bear while riding at he's speed, super impressive
Thank you for coming to ride our trails in our little city of Castlegar.
Thanks for the warm welcome!
I have never once complained about the weight of a tube and tire boots in my kit
I just strap one to my frame and have the oneup edc plug kit + the oneup pump + a c02 for when its cold
I wonder if they’re running CushCore? I haven’t had a flat or any tire issues for three years with CushCore and I ride trails just as gnarly as these.
It would have been too much weight to bear…🐻
You're not truly gnarly until you scare a bear off the trail😎😎Thanks for the upload!
True. Then I'm the definition of gnar. But Gnar occasionally ish his pants 😅
I think you might be right haha
I wonder do bears carry around Remy spray? 🤔 😂
19:15 That is just such a sick feature. You did it justice
Ça fait envie ! Bravo pour le gros saut

You really are living the best life Remy
Video and downhill skill Everything is perfect
What a nice trial. I really enjoyed watching this.
Deym! That trail is so good 😮 feel sorry for Alex. That’s why I always have extra tube and small pump in my down tube and some duct tape and zip tie 😂
all ways a good day when remy posts
Sweet trail. Reminds me of lord of the squirrels trail. Bummer the French liner flatted.
You know what they say about bears you just have to ride fast than Alex, but that's a cool looking trail 🤘
Love the videos as always!
Glad you like them!
Exciting ride fun to watch. Sorry about your friend's tire , bad luck.
Yeah, that was a bummer but we got it sorted!
No excuse for being unprepared when aggressive riding. A tube and a tire reinforcement card from Park tools and your riding again. May be slow, but your rolling. No excuse. maxxis DD tires too!
Dynaplug, tubolito, tire boots and mini pump are must have items for me
I had to play the 8:25 piece a few times, that bear was moving!
Looks like it would be so fun to ride with Remy and alex
BEASTMODE! or Bear mode... lol

such a bummer for alex tho, i can feel his pain 😂😂
sick vid. poor alex.
Remy I feel like you could try some Alberta riding in and around Calgary. Maybe have a little detour on your BC tour. This would be in Bragg creek area, Moose Mountain, Husky Road or Exhaw/Razors Edge.
There's some lovely paved trails along the river. Maybe bring your roller skates.
Lol was thinking more bragg creek, moose mountain, husky road and canmore area. @paulkahlke2291
Right from the start of the descent, I thought, "That guy is running his lines so recklessly in that terrain; how is he not flatting out?!"
FAFO moment.
Found the non-mountain biker 😄
I never ride without spares, can't believe so many people don't
Déjà qu'il faut être super concentré mais si en plus il faut éviter les ours c'est chaud ! 😅
The issue was definitely the delirium tire 😂
I didn't say it 😅
I think I prefer Delirium than delium, missed marketing opportunity 😂
Come and ride the uk slop, you'll be slipping everywhere with clogged up maxxis tyres!
You can hear how loud the old spindrift is 😵💫
nice vid
biggest fan
WE JUST WANR BIG JUMPS

Great video as always Remy are you running inserts in your tyres?
Thank you. I do not no
I still remember smashing my hand on the rock...
Great video as always sucks for Alex would have been great to see you both shred!!!
I know we were both bummed
Класс покатухи у нас нету таких вело троп да еще зима
I appreciate Alex's mechanical sympathy I know some that would have rode that on the rim to the parking lot.
Glad you had fun Remy, with a dedicated camera man, thank Alex 👌🤦🤣
my dream is get like this bike you ride bro
How many people would carry a spare tire on a ride like that?
Don’t forget to like and comment on remys video. It helps more than you all know
Anything powered by OUTSIDE is probably pretty high on the propaganda scale. They stopped producing quality content in their magazine almost a decade ago but it looks like a great trail.
next time bring a tube or have alex bring a tube lol
Remy What do you use for a trail camera?
Greg
The GoPro Hero 13

Carry bear🧸spray, man. Granted if you get past it, it will never catch you 🚀.
Grizzly can sprint 40 mpg. Good luck

@remymetailler Shimano drivetrain?
36min
Really cool but stay on the bike pls
Need more upper body strength
Where about?
@@remymetailler A joke related to trying to remove the rock that punctured the tire.
